Maybe you can bring pictures of your yard. Make up an area somewhere in the house and stick in borrowed dog bed, dish, blanket, toys, chewies, etc and make it look like a home is already waiting.

Actually...I already have all that stuff. I went out two weeks ago and bought everything at Walmart with the expectation of getting a dog at the SPCA the next day. But...the dog I saw online and thought I wanted was way too big so I waited.

If this doesn't work out with them, I'll donate everything to a rescue group.

Dale Jr. won the first of the twin 125's today! That means he's 3rd for Daytona 500. . .behind Jimmy Johnson who's sitting on the pole. Jeff Gordon will sit in 9th and Michael Waltrip in 2nd. That's all I know right now. I'm sure someone will be along with the line up of all our picks soon (aahhheeem. . tricia) because I can't interrupt dh to ask. . . he's fixing my valentines dinner I get grilled chicken, steamed veggies, wild brown rice with fresh mushrooms and vegetarian baked beans.

No chocolate covered strawberries. . . . but dh took the girls to see dd18 because she had something for them, which is very sweet, and she sent home a box of chocolates for me. . .also very sweet. . . . and I won't eat even one. . . hope she will understand and forgive me.

MF - what insensitive idjit timed that massacre . They had security when my oldest DS & his 2 bosses were shown the door too. Interestingly, they've asked him to return for the same salary; just not as mgmt...he told them "no thanks". Wasn't going back to working with peeps he's had to review/discipline over the last several years .

Good news: My new Aeron chair came and it's great!

Bad news: I'm home from work today since I had a tooth pulled yesterday. It hurt all night and my jaw is still swollen but it's doing better.

No news: The guy from the SPCA and I keep playing phone tag. Apparently you have to answer when he calls since it's a one and done thing with him.

Our condo association had been painting our foyer on Tues and yest
Somehow a little paint had gotten on my winter coat. Not too happy about that. I can't seem to get the paint off I had put Shout stain remover on it yest and washed my coat, paint did not come off. Oh well.

all sons live back at home.
i'm the only one working now.

mr mac works but he doesn't count... he's never around.

one son started drawing ucb this week but he was shorted on the first check.
not enough to cover car payment and insurance.

i know it is hard on him and keep hoping one of his interviews will be the job for him.
