I didn't participate in the second game (teams)....I stayed behind to accept pizza delivery and food prep....our room:

Oh, and let me tell you....almost 20 8-9 year olds scarfed down 5.5 pizzas! Yep....they can eat!!

....which I thought had TERRIBLE handwriting ....it was a 1/2 sheet for cryin' out loud....plenty of room to write....

At the end of the party, the kids gathered at the front desk to 'scream' the "Happy Birthday" song....

Because if you 'scream loud enuf', the toliet paper comes out:

Then, all the kids got a coupon or goodie from Laser Quest:

I heard everyone had a GREAT time! One dude on the soccer team even told his Mom all about it, and ended with: "What are we doing next weekend?"

Okay....done with boring, ole birthday pictures.....sorry I didn't get them up sooner...but DH seems to think he and I came down with the flu I'd never had the flu, so, what do I know? (now that I think back on it....maybe we did )

It was...it was really cool. You wear a vest with blinking lights on the chest and shoulders and back....anyone can 'hit' you in the blinking lights and you can't be/or hit anyone else for 5 seconds. Then, it's in a smokey, black light maze of a room with 2 levels...it was VERY cool..... and LQ knows it (cost us more than 1 months car payment ) Seems places are "onto" the birthday thing and offer the packages that are very costly....BUT, they are worth it.

We used to get stuck with sleepovers, bowling, miniature golf, etc.....birthday party places have gotten WAY cooler

1 week to the tanning start date. or should i say, one week until penny takes 6 months to get a base tan!

Well gang...the weekend is finally here! It was close to 86 today and pretty humid...felt like April.

You are so bad. Now we all know I'm nicer than him.

I got *one* job lead, as a chiro office asked for a resume to be faxed.

And a few FL Hospital locations are hiring (I'd take almost any position, seriously).

This eve I'm going with my stepmom to the nearby mall. Maybe some of the stores are hiring, but I don't think retail is my forte--TARGET said I don't meet their qualifications.

I'd be taking that paperwork that says "3" into them and demanding a replacement ....AND mentioning you keep getting shocked and have dangerous, exposed wires.... maybe wouldn't hurt to ask for a manager and drop the 'sue' word or 'television exposure' words That is absolutely ridiculous what they are putting you through...and they really don't care. You're under warranty and they already got your money (This is yet another reason my DH will NOT buy big ticket items from BB....return policy and service sux ). Next time you are ready to buy a new computer, try newegg dot com....we've gotten 2 from there and never had ANY problems with either

Hi to all-
Sorry been MIA and I can't seem to catch-up. You guys are too chatty as usual
Been in my own little world again, also trying to get things done and doing shopping, etc.
Wed's night class musical program went well with the kids
They did a musical of radio stuff thru the decades called "On the Radio". Matthew was a little ham! He did dancing and singing to "YMCA". He played the construction worker- from the Village People.

Ok, gotta run and I have to get the kids off the bus now.

Glad the program went well. Sounds like Mathew really had fun.

Snow is great when you're a kid...I kinda miss that but don't miss it as an adult...having to shovel out the car, drive in it and not be able to sleep in.

I used to walk outside on the porch during a snow storm and notice how quiet everything was. You couldn't even hear the cars going by. I still have fond memories of those nights.
