Hey everyone!

Hope all of you sickies are feeling better!

I am so sorry he wanted me to tell you thank you and I thought I did.I guess Getting to be old and forgetful:lmao: :rotfl: :rotfl:

No apology necessary! I just didn't want him to think I forgot him. :goodvibes That's what having kids will do to you. :rolleyes1

can you go sled riding in your back yard missy:rotfl: :rolleyes1

No, but if it rains hard enough, you can water ski in the retention pond behind the house. :rotfl:

Good night homies,
Not feeling good so going to bed early:sick:

if you dont mind my asking, i saw Pet Semetary at wally world the other day(the book)
i have read a few of his books, and yes, IT upset me(the clowns). wanted to know really what the book Pet Sematary is about.
Penny...I'am a huge Stephen King fan and "Pet Sematary" is an excellent book...the movie on the other hand...... :sad2:

I was very disappointed in "It" because of the ending. I couldn't believe Pennywise was actually a ****** (I don't want to spoil it). ;)

I'm reading his new book "Duma Key" now and it's pretty good so far. It's supposed to be his scariest in a while. I HATED "Cell"....totally stupid.

I hope you feel better Lawrence. There's a nasty flu bug going around work and I'm trying to stay away from it.

was glad to see those 4 go tonight.

st lawrence, hope your headache goes away soon.
or you can use it for not cleaning the kitchen up after dinner.........:rolleyes1

i just ordered the unofficial guide to DL.

i might just read Pet Semetary.

i never read Cell.

i stil think Carrie was one of his strangest books.

I read Delores Clairborne, IT, Carrie, and a couple of others.

never read the dark tower.

Has anyone read Thinner?

I read "Thinner"...not bad...strange though. My favorite novel of his is "The Stand" and my favorite short story is "The Mist".

Penny - read Twilight! It's a lot lighter read, and enjoyable. Have I mentioned that lately here? I just reread book 2 and am now rereading book 3! Really good books!

We went to DL in 2003 and really enjoyed it. I know it's not popular to say on these boards, but we loved DCA. It's really nice how close the parks are (similar to Universal and IOA). We were waiting for a parade at DCA and I ran over to DL to get some bacon wrapped asparagus (you have to try this!). I forgot my wallet, unfortunately though, and didn't get them, but the point was that it's close enough to run between the parks! :rotfl:

I thought CA just seemed so much more do-able than WDW. We got a 5 day pass (think it was buy 3 days, get 2 free) and that was long enough to do everything in a relaxed fashion. We also did Knotts, which we enjoyed, Legoland which was okay, and Magic Mountain, which we were NOT impressed with! And of course the beach.

If you're not looking to stay onsite, we really loved the Embassy Suites we stayed at nearby. It's still my kids' favorite hotel EVER that they've been to. Had a koi pond and if you asked at the front desk, they'd give you food to feed the fish. We all liked the big breakfasts, and the evening cocktail hours. There are a couple different ones - we stayed at the one with the indoor pool, which was hard to find in the area.

Hello all

I am just checking in to say HI . I have been so BUSY . we got our bedroom set today and well it is wonderful . The sleepnumber bed comes in on Friday . I am hopeful that the snow isn't too bad I hope they don't have to cancel.

Ok here is a stupid question .. I have never had a bed with bed rails and a footboard so do I use the bed skirt with this set or not?? I am wondering how it is going to look when I put it on . :confused3

If you read any Steven King books I have to say I LOVED The Stand. I have to say if you want to read two really good books I just finished The Kite Runner and A thousand Splendid Suns . Both were Very good but the second one really relates to womans issues . It is amazing how horriable women are treated in other countries.

So now I have to get my pictures up on the site as soon as we are a little more put together . I am still looking for curtains so they are missing in any photos I will post . I hope the snow starts later then they are saying because I would like to run to Target and get a hanger for the Iorning board and iorn to put it in our closet . I then get to run into the Christmas Tree store. . That is a great junk store anyone else hooked on the junk in there?

So if we are all moving I really want to go to South Carolina . I have a very good friend that moved form NYC to SC and well Myrtle Beach is a great to visit but would be great to live in next to my friend :thumbsup2 . I also would love to go live in FLA because well DAY TRIPS TO USF/IOA and WDW with the kids :thumbsup2 :cheer2: . So that is my Vote ;) .

Ok gotta go to bed now . Remember it is Friday so all of us good catholics / or bad ones ... .. NO meat on Friday . It has only been what two weeks and well I am so not liking Friday any more . :rotfl2:

HAVE FUN on your trip we will all be waiting to hear the report when you return.

I am now contemplating DL for 2009. we can get a pass that is good at Seaworld , DL, CA and US.

just a two state plane ride.

have any of you been to DL? i do realize it is smaller.
I went to DL & DCA this past Sept. My TR may still be up. It's worth checking out. Their POTC ride is superb, as is their Splash Mountain. Also, the Indiana Jones ride is A+

DCA is mostly cheesy.

Grrrr....

Couldn't get the pics posted, so it will have to wait....

Heading to Jersey in the morning and watchin the bro swim until late Sunday night.....

Don't know if I will have internet access so I am wishing everyone a good weekend and I'll catch up with you on Monday!!!

Be careful to anyone who is getting the storm!!
