just wanted to let you all know I made it - now who's going to unload the "refreshments" from my van??? :confused3 :confused3 :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:
sorry you lost your wonderful post

Good luck at skool today ;)

I think one of the GUYS should unload the van..... Todd? Mike? Fletch? DM? Larry? ....anyone..... Bueller :rotfl:

If someone will unload Tracie's van, I'll bartend.

No, wait... Janet should handle that. I don't really know how to mix drinks for anyone else. I make mine strong. People tend to gasp after a sip of mine and say, "Wow... that's a Tricia Drink..." :confused3

So? :confused3 If it takes us to PUI....what difference does it make? :rolleyes1 (You're talking about lil ole me who drank 3/4 of a pitcher of mango martinis in a matter of about 4 hours here.... :headache: ...I can handle your drinks :thumbsup2 )

I have the invisible "lush" sign on my head...only trained bartenders can read it & dish out a good stiff one:thumbsup2 sounds like there's a few others in the sisterhood.

long as it's not an alabama slammer (messy suckers) i'll put on my apron & mix up a few shakerfuls...here's a silver bullet for y'all

I now need a AA Meeting :rotfl2: . Love the "LUSH" sign mine is all lit up though how do I get on of those invisable ones?? I may need that drink later I have to go to TWO schools today one to retrive my DD 's cell phone at the JHS and one to HS to see my DD English teacher . All her other grades were outstanding with a 88 AVG. If you knew at the age of 6 her teacher told us she would never learn anything and that by 8 we had her tested for learning disablitiles to get a 88 in HS is AMAZING for Freshman year. We did leave her back one year but WOW what a difference :woohoo: . Excited for her  .

Off to do some :laundy: . I think the clothes are multiplying down there because I go down there and have this look :scared1: to see how many clothes teen age girls can go through . and one wears a uniform to school  .

:lmao: before Bev locked it, she linked them to here :thumbsup2

well then...you get an A for the assignment :teacher: cuz i didn't do it :headache:

Bev is great. You know someone would get lost if the link wasn't there.

Well my priorities are in the right place. (even if I missed a call I was supposed to be on and the kitchen didn't get cleaned after dinner)

Were you trying to let someone sleep in? How's the weight loss challenge going?

Mornin Fletch and the gang.

From RVGAL:
Tricia - in my case these would be jumbo biscuts.:lmao:

You homies, enjoy the new digs, I'm going to get ready to work.

:) Jennifer

Have a great day Jennifer. We'll keep a light on for you.

Morning All! It's 60 balmy degrees, supposed to hit 70:dance3: :yay: rain, but i'll take it!

speaking of beer, my bad dog ate a case of beer last night:confused3 glad it was bottles, she's poked holes in cans of pop before. why the case of beer was plopped down on the floor instead of being put on the shelf remains to be seen (i need a big stick to beat the dog, then give DH a swat too).

fyi, i livs in the great county of Allegheny - we get to pay an extra 1% or 7% on sales tax:rolleyes1 just cause we're so special. I try to make most of my larger purchases in neighboring counties...doesn't work with a vehicle though - darn it.

barb - think the hotel tax in FLA is 10 or 12% (was thinking 9% for vegas-preoccupying me lately - CA is 10% too as i recall, due to special "hotel taxes" - wonder if that goes to local coffers or state?

Well I hope your weather holds. 70 something here yesterday & now they are talking snow or ice. Temps started dropping this morning. In the 40's now and stillheading down. Has been raining for hours.

Do you really not know why a male put something in the floor instead of on the shelf where it belongs? :confused3 I thought that was what they were supposed to do and then we were to come along and finish the job behind them. :confused3 :confused3 At least that is what every male I have ever known has been like. Although I know the great guys we have here with us would never do anything like that. They are special. ;)

Ouch! So what is the tax range?

I thought the sales tax around Orlando was 6.5% (for food at least) and then the rest was either 11.5% or 12% depending on which county you were in.

:lmao: :rotfl: :rotfl2: :worship:  check out my new siggie!!!!

you are the (wo) man!:woohoo:

not sure if it's a pokemon or a morphed pickle; luvs it so though-thanks a "bunch"

:lovestruc Love the new siggie. He looks great on you!

I found you guys . I was a little confused :confused3 but i am a blond and well that is normal for me . :rotfl:

I am home today no :teacher: for me . I was feeling  last night and well my DD has parent teacher conferences today so I am doing that later. I also wanted to see the Giants Parade :happytv: .

SO now that the summer house is up and running where can one go to get a good frozen drink here ?? ;) ... I don't mean on from Starbucks either :rotfl2: .

Hope everyone has a good day I need to eat I am still feeling kind of YUCKIE  Today so I am going to take it easy and relax for a while .

See you later :cool1:

Glad you found us. See Bav did good!

Hope you get to felling better. Good luck with the p/t conference.

I've got an extra garage door opener if anyone needs one.

I bet it was the dog training the Clydesdale one.

Ally is going to get her butt length hair cut off to her shoulders today. She is tired of it being so long. Don't know if I will be able to handle it.

grrrrrrrrrrr.....just had this really nice, well thought out post typed up....Thought I hit submit, and well, I didn't :headache: :headache:

no time to re do it now.....will do it after appointment with middle school - parent conference thing.

How is Kate liking school?

So what refreshments did you bring?

If someone will unload Tracie's van, I'll bartend.

Have a great day everyone!

Hi guys! Just a quick flyby to let you know that I've found you all, even though you snuck away to the summer home without leaving directions! ;) Had to mapquest it to find the right exit! Luckily I got there in time to get the wakeup call and get DS14 on the bus.

It's just been a theater of drama here. I'm so tired of the teenage lovelife thing, and I have to go through it 2 more times (plus probably infinite times per kid). DS got another bad grade on a test and thus is still grounded and we added in some supervised study time, without any electronics, on the subject. No phone, TV, or computer while studying for an hour a day. Evidently this is comparable to forced labor or brutal torture! :confused3 DS spent the rest of the evening pouting and refusing to talk to us, but did at least study!

Mary - at least your laundry is multiplying in one location. My boys tend to leave it accumulating behind the bathroom door, on the floors of their rooms, stuck behind the chairs in the family room, in their closets, etc. I'll lose my temper and scream at them and tell them to bring me ALL laundry and suddenly I'll have 5 loads. But if I go in their rooms and just pick out laundry to wash, then I get yelled at because they were "still wearing that" or "saving it" (yes, DS15 holds on to clothes that SMELL like his girlfriend and won't let me wash them! :rotfl: Yeah, he's obsessed!).

Janet - 70 degrees?!! Supposed to be 34 here! Hey, that's above freezing! My goal is someday for it to be warmer outside than in my refrigerator! ;) But they're predicting another 3 inches of snow. Problem now is that evidently the area is almost out of salt and money for overtime pay so now they're not plowing unless it's at least 3 inches. So since it was warmer and we've had several couple inch snowfalls, the non-highway roads are just a disaster. Just inches and inches of "slop" piled up, that freezes each night. Makes the driving all kinds of fun. Hopefully it will snow enough tonight to get them to plow, but now they're saying they'll just plow "main roads", which won't help us much!

Was over at the middle school today and saw them loading full sized truck full of the snow there (there's no more room to plow the parking lots - it was stacked about 15 feet high). Thought maybe they were going to truck it down to the poor children in Georgia (like Tricia's!) who don't have any snow! :rotfl2: Bet they'd want it a WHOLE bunch more than we do! But I saw them dumping it out back on the athletic fields instead!

Well, off to my favorite place (not!). Catch you all later!

oh yea..........the 4 am shift arrived before you did this morning fletch.
put a little more emotions into the wake up call. i think some homies hit the snooze button this morning.

Oh yee of little faith. The morning crew is here and on the job.

Just let me know...I would be glad to show you around. :thumbsup2

me too, i'll help also.
i'll leave the trail of popcorn so when todd takes a bathroom break, we can locate him quickly.......jk, i know my way around that home away from home

good to see you here. haven't seen you post in awhile.
stay with us here, you'll like this new home!

um...remember, i like the foot of the bed covers 'tucked'

(why do i have a feeling this is going to open up a whole new conversation??)

You get that MAC??? :thumbsup2

i was very careful.
i did not miss spell that word.

so, i don't really believe it will start a new topic here........at least by me:rolleyes1

going back to ketchup now.

are we back on the weather again............oh snap.
here's my .02

either way it happens, i'm gonna get it

mr mac called this morning.
he thinks his 5 pm flight on wednesday from new york to chicago will be canceled or delayed.

marcie, i think this blizzard will miss you.

Hey Marcie! We did leave a link. Did you not find it? Glad the boys didn't miss the bus.

Sounds like DS needs a little more than that but hey that is just me. Think I would take all that and girlfriend away completely for a week and see how that goes. And then if there was a major fit of throwing stuff around the house then multiply it by the number of things he throws.

As for the laundry I stopped doing my older kids laundry when they brought out a huge pile after I had finished my last load years ago. Miranda & Chris both had to do their own from that point on. When Mikey started doing it too he had to start doing his. If he brings things out while I am doing laundry then I will wash it. IF not he gets to do it himself. Period! Guess I am just a mean mom. Either that or I feel like my time is valuable too and if they can't respect that they can take care of things themselves.

You know, those athletic fields had to have been getting dry. Of course they needed to dump it all there.

Oh, and how does a place like that run out of money for clearing the snow? I know it can happen here where we don't get much but up there where it is normal? :confused3

Helllloooooo?!!!! Anybody home?!

Is this our new home? To post pictures of our families? Tell stories no one else would ever read or care about? Discuss the most MUNDANE aspects of our lives with the only people in a box who either care or get a laugh?

Do I have the right place?!!!!

If I do, can I start with my husband asking me honestly if I were having an affair because he thinks I spend too much time online? That if I was having an affair, it was with friends in a box, either on this thread, or through emails, or through PMs?

Oops! Well just have him come hang out with us here for a little while. He will drop that notion real fast. But don't let him come in the Angry Mike hours.
