Didn't she say the two couples that were going with them might be backing out? We could all go in their place. ;)

I will admit I did not use Christian words tonight...in describing her anyway.........

That's okay. With what she pulled she has probably had lots of bad words being said about her.

Amp, as in the drink. Not good at all. Eww.

My husband is absolutely beside himself. . .he woke up dd11 to tell her dale jr won. . . . has had 6 phone calls and every time someone else calls they whoop it up again. . . . he's currently dancing through the house and got the devil dogs all worked up so they are running and panting and now they are barking to go out. . . ok. . . . if he wakes up the baby. . . . he's gonna need to go stay with dale jr.

I've honestly never met a bigger fan than my dh. . . he's got his own jr. nation. . . these guys are just nuts!!! Oh yeah, today he took his two new pieces of diecast out of the boxes to put them in their display cases. . . so he brings them to me to look at. . . well, of course they are both 88 cars. . . one is the paint scheme he ran tonight and the other is the green and white amp paint scheme. . . so I'm checking them out and notice a flaw in the paint on the front left bottom of the car. . . he's on the phone with QVC immediately telling them to expect a return and to make sure they ship him one with no flaws this time! I was like, calm down. . . we've bought over 100 pieces of die cast and this is like only the 2nd time we have had to return one. . .crap happens.

gotta run. . .dale's doing an interview

And to top it all off...Hendrick Motor Sports cars were 4 of the top 6! I think it is going to be a great year of left turns!

We purchased a new camera this week. . . grandson came over today and I've got pics. Haven't posted one since he was born last April. Also got pics of our dog and our foster dog. . . our's - huge golden retriever. . foster - small blonde cocker spaniel. . playing tug of war!

Oh. . . uuummmm. . I don't know how to post pics. Damo posted for me last April. Can anyone 'splain to me?

You're fostering a cocker spaniel??? How nice of you!!! I'm very partial to cockers.

Have you uploaded your pictures to photobucket yet? If so, they have a link called IMG CODE, under each picture, for forums that you just copy and paste here.

Well once again I am having major dis problems. I know, what a surprise! I am going to call it a night!

Suuurrrreeee....I finally get here, you leave :snooty: AND....I watched the end of the race  :thumbsup2

I'm not having any problems....what is your connection? Maybe you have a problem thru there...I'm not having any problems with boards.... :confused3

Have a good nite :goodvibes

I keep forgetting to mention...I like your new avatar....he/she belong to you???

Here to ketchup :teeth:

my bling:goodvibes

this one so you can see the color - blue/turning to purple when in the right light
ring002.jpg

i bought him an air hammer & wrench @ home depot today, had gift cards;)

I think your new bling is beautiful.... DH did great! :thumbsup2 Now I think you need a spa manicure to go with it :rolleyes1

So...did he like his new tools???

DH has "laid down" (how's that for an ephemism:rolleyes: ) 2 bikes; both times when a motor vehicle ran into him:eek: in traffic; he was stopped once & got hit from behind the 2nd time. He wasn't assigned fault, has quite a case of perm. road rash though.

Like driving in the snow.....it's the "other guy" ya worry about..... :scared:

Tricia, no roller coasters? :scared1:

Sounds like a pretty big list, but doable. Although I find the rectal gel a little daunting. ;)

Sounds like the neurologist knows what she's doing.

I meant to ask, are seizures something that children can grow out of?

Yes, seizures can be "pediatric". He could have no problems in a few years. There's about a 50/50 chance.

No roller coasters as long as he is still considered a seizure risk. As long as he is on anti-convulsive medications... nope. Can't risk it.

I am laughing about the whole saturday wal mart valentine section.
:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

i should just fed ex a box to Georgia.
:lmao: :lmao:

okay , gonna do this just once.
and Tricia, I care about you.

WHAT WERE YOU THINKING???????????????????????

Clearly, I wasn't thinking. In hindsight, I can say, "What did you expect?"

You should have seen the people pressed shoulder to shoulder... pushing, shoving... grabbing anything that had a heart on it. Every few seconds somebody would hit one of those damn singing/dancing stuffed animals and the whole aisle would groan. It was frightening.

OK, here's one Savvy story that I know you're all humoring me waiting for ....

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Oh, I can just imagine if someone ever checks the history on your computer. "Why would someone search for cat poo + worms?"

And trying to describe it to Mike over the phone... while Mike inspects the fresh pile of cat poo... :rotfl:

That is some dedicated cat parenting. You should put that on your next kitty adoption application.

Okay, I'll see your Walmart on Saturday before Valentine's and raise it to the perfume section at a fancy department store

Nothing trumps a grocery store for french toast ;)

Then I got home to discover my jury questionnaire in the mail. Oh, joy! Who wants to bet that I'm one of the lucky ones to get selected to serve for one week (as it said) sometime in April, May or June!? I did emphasize on the online questionnaire that I am hearing disabled and that they'd need to provide written transcripts of everything said. Hopefully that'll discourage them!
[/SIZE]

I am married to the ONLY person in the world who actually WANTS jury duty and NEVER seems to be able to get it :lmao:

I am off to shower. Mike and I are having a date night at our favorite restaurant. The usual hostess sent her kids to WDW with her in-laws while her and her hubby are in Key West. Thought that was cool! I get very excited to hear the specials. Hope they're good tonight!

And.....Jodie is not here...so, I'm guessing dinner was fab, the wine/beer/alcohol was fab and she is now 'being' fab with Mike.... (.....you go girl! ;) )

I need everyone's opinion.

I just got an email from a friend saying they have a new grandchild with first and middle names Ellery Londan. However, no mention of the sex. Do you think it is a girl or a boy? I have no clue.

Okay...well..I'm too late, as you already got an answer...but, I when I first read it, I thought 'girl'...like Penny ;)

Barb - check back - I said I was taking today off (at least from the wakeup call). I did go to work, but was really lazy today and just could not get movin today.

THANKS TODD - FOR THE BACKUP TO THE BACKUP.:)

I knew you were sleeping in/taking the day off..... Maybe you misinterpreted what I wrote.... :confused3 It wasn't a "crap....Jenn overslept"....more like....'whew! Todd was on the ball & woke me up cuz Jenn is taking the day off and sleeping in'.... ;)

Poor Bubba. I hope the rest works and he is full of energy to enjoy his party tomorrow.

Thanks....us too :guilty:

i'm really dating myself here ;) anyone remember the detective saga penname Ellery Queen?

:confused3

DH (mr sweet tooth) will get his usual box (meaning a box double the size of a shoe box) filled with candy-mostly Dots & peppermint patties

A dentist's dream come true

tomorrow 2/10

the sunday new york times ( also available online)

there will be an article in the sunday business section regarding "explosions of new forms of entertainment and advances in tech are reshaping how & what consumers want in theme parks, and how Disney is doing it. "

can you post a link if you find it?? I'd be interested in reading it..... k? thx!

Did you "get" what damo explained? Have to resize to 'small' size (use edit tab at the top) and upload to photobucket or online hosting site. Copy the IMG code and paste into your text ;)

.....they all seem to think it was the counselor who didn't like me or was having a bad day. I hope that's the case because his year is gonna get A LOT worse if I have anything to say about.

 :lmao:

get 'em!!!

Her name is Ginger, she's 9 months old, Lab mix, housebroken, loves treats and praise, got really good marks on her training exercises, very friendly and loving. She's the perfect size for me.

Since she wasn't on the website, she was a total surprise to me. She was sitting in the kennel with a very loud dog and she was just sitting there...looking at me. When we took her out to the play area, she was right beside me the whole time.

She sounds like the perfect companion! I hope the 'higher ups' will see your point....

OK, here's one Savvy story that I know you're all humoring me waiting for ....

So, the vet where we had Savvy declawed is not her first vet. Her first vet gave us a first wellness visit for free and a second follow-up visit at a discount. These people are extremely nice, but far from our home, and there is a nice vet close to our house, so it doesn't make sense for us not to see the vet close to our home, when price isn't a factor. Make sense so far?

I ask him, Please tell me how she's supposed to carry babies, when I'm pretty sure her uterus was taken out?

Mike is still not convinced.

Fast forward to a few days later.

Well, I'm working one Friday night. Mike is at home. He calls me at work, and he's clearly breathing through his mouth:

She didn't like that. Since we had the regular litter (for Alex) blocked off, and she didn't want to poo where she ate.... well, she did a major unloading on our den carpet in front of Mike.

I told him that since a load of poo was conveniently in front of him that he himself should check it for worms since he didn't believe Dr. Place. I told him that I would gladly pay another $75 if he found evidence of worms.

So, he took a pen and started rifling through the mound of hot poo.

He said he didn't know what they looked like.

So, there I am at work, googling "cat poo + worms" on google images. Now, at work, I don't have a private cubicle. About 20 different people can easily see what I'm doing at all times. Who knows what they were thinking if they saw images on my monitors.

Picture me trying to describe what worms in cat poo look like.

He found something in her poo, washed it off, and felt the need to leave it for me. However, he ultimately determined that she ate part of his braided watch band and that since he couldn't slice through it and it was more "stringy" than "wormy" that it was in fact material, and not a worm.

I am half PUI so I hope that makes sense.....

:lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao: See Mike?? Just cuz you don't have kids....don't mean you don't have to deal with the poo :lmao:

Great story WORTH WAITING FOR!!! You cannot imagine the mental pictures going thru my mind! :rolleyes1

I'm glad it is a girl's name because I think Ellery isn't the bestest of choices for a boy!

Umm....ya think??? I really wonder what is happening the world :confused3 Used to be normal to have to 'spell' your surname for people....anymore, you need to spell a first name now too! :sad2: Pretty soon things you can buy personalized in the store (w/o special order) are gonna be non-existant because nobody will have a 'normal' first name..... ...or have a normal name, but it's spelled weird! :headache:

What I love is this: our local Hallmark store has a sign on the front door stating to 'respect others and please switch cell phones to vibrate as to not distract other customers in the store'. Okay...I don't have a problem with THAT....What I do have a problem with, is all the people/kids that just open the 'singing' ones to hear the song...they aren't looking to buy a card...they are just getting a kick out of the song inside! :headache: Oh sorry...that was a rant.... WARNING: You just read a rant! :rolleyes1

All ketchuped and mac turned the lights out....

That's okay....have to get up and get moving in the morning.... have to pick up cake and ice in the morning and get ready to leave by 11am.
