I am happy to report that he paid. (His co-worker yelled at him too. ). He also felt bad and went out to get some ice since the ice machine in our cafeteria is broken. So, not only did he pay up, he totally redeemed himself. Now, I feel bad. Almost.

I absolutely LOVE Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, but man did that halftime show remind me how old I am. Most of that audience around the stage wasn't even BORN when American Girl was released.

Good afternoon homies thought I would say Hi.
After being at the emergency room yesterday form 6:00 pm to 12:00 am with DW cause she was having sever stomach pains and after all the blood and urine work they still can't figure whats going on cause they said everything looks fine and wants her to follow up with her regular doctor and gave her some lortab to take for the pain and needless to say she is in dreamland right now.

Glad she is "painfree", but it's only treating the symptom, not the problem. Was she tested for food poisoning?? Always a possibility....mummydust for her to get better really quickly

We did have a little issue with the seating in the gym for the show.

Well...i agree with the others...that's crap! Since when do the 'workers' get priority seating? They belong in the back and I would have sat my butt in the seat anyway and DARED them to MOVE me! Yes, it may have said reserved, but anything attached with tape is 'moveable'

I actually ended up spending more money at Best Buy...I bought the complete M*A*S*H series on dvd and LOVE it.

Belk was having a store closing sale and I got two pairs of dress pants for work for a TOTAL of $42.00!

BTW...while at Best Buy, I saw Ravenhearst and Prime Suspects on the shelf. How's Ryan doing with the game you got him for his birthday?

To be honest I don't know but they told us when they did the blood test they ran it for everything and I am assuming they did it for food poisioning and I am wondering it was a year ago but her stomach did this and her doctor told her she had some kind of bactiria in her stomach

i feel blue, just found out another one of DS friends (older dude he knew from HS football) died last night in car accident . This is his second friend to die in an auto accident (both were really good kids; 1st one just feel asleep @ the wheel they think-was working 2 jobs to get a new car ). Didn't really know this boy, he had just called DS 45 min. before the accident to see if they were lifting @ gym before the super bowl...scary stuff.

that sux! I'm sorry to hear that. Your poor son...how much more can 1 guy handle?? It's a shame, but happens for an unknown reason My thots are with your son and his friend's family Too young, too soon......

DS asked if it was okay for him to bring a marimba home on Friday. Said sure - what did I know? Of course we had to break it down into a zillion pieces to get it in the car, reassemble it at home, and have to redo it at 6:30 tomorrow morning. Lots of fun! Told him he should practice at school from now on!

Okay, I'm really, really, really annoyed! Just spent an hour multiquoting and posting back about 7 pages on a totally annoying laptop Macbook which I HATE and I swear it hates me (kind of like Penny's snowblower)! Got it all done and hit post and it said "you must sign in" and of course when I did it had lost everything I'd done! AAUUGGGHHHHH! So I'll try again here (now that I've kicked my stupid DH who suddenly had to do stupid taxes on MY stupid computer instead of HIS stupid Macbook)!!

Wow - must be nice out there! I have noticed it's light now driving home from work at 4:30, but it's still pretty dark here by 5. I'm definitely looking forward to Daylight Savings Time much earlier again this year too! Anything that gives me more light in the evening (don't need it much at 6am!) is good to me![/SIZE]

Wish we had that. We also get to watch the TV scroll or go pull it up on the computer. As I said earlier, our district emails us, but usually WAY too late to do any good. I did sign up for the text message alerts from the local TV station, but we never got one of those last week with our snow day either! Guess we're just stuck doing it the har way!

I actually used to get Papa John's delivered....now I pick it up, since I found out delivery is NOT free They don't TELL you it's not free, they sneak it into the charge

Okay, finally, the math story. Eric is in Mathcounts - a nationwide math competition for kids in grades 6-8. They had their chapter (regional) competition yesterday down in Sheboygan. Their team came in 4th overall (out of 23 teams) and qualified to go to the state competition in Madison on March 1st.

Also, Eric finished in 7th place overall.

Congrats to him!!!

I think once you've had food poisoning, you're very susceptable to having it again....keep the possibility of food poisoning in mind to ask the docs.....
