I thought I would stop by and say good night homies and had a good scare tonight my youngest DS was mad at me and went to his room and some how knocked off his top bunk bed off almost landing on him and checked him out and he didn't have a mark on him and needless to say I won't get any sleep tonight after that.

Had a terrible afternoon. It is pouring and windy out. Tomorrow we have champs and I went to put our banner up ahead of time....so when I begin to jog to the door, I slipped in a puddle and fell into the mud...as well as the banner. So right now it is drying downstairs but its dirty

And then the DF is just annoying the crap outta me and making plans for the Super Bowl when all I want to do is curl up in my PJs and make things with my Magic Bullet. Is that too much to ask???

OK rant over....long day tomorrow and then dinner with friends (like I'm going to have the energy to do that after being with my boys for at least 7 hours )

Good morning! Good afternoon! and.... Good Evening!

It all started last night at 10pm-ish....when we went to sleep. Sleep like a rock until 3:30am....then, eyeballs popped open! Wide awake, but too tired to get up. Finally, after 1.5 hours of awake and asleep, the freakin' phone rings at 5:45am! Yep, it would be the freakin' skool calling us in a 2 hour delay. Great...can get some of that sleep i missed out on at 4am. Finally get back to sleep, the freakin' phone rings...AGAIN! It's now just before 8am and now they are cancelling skool Okay....better yet...catch up on more sleep. About 20 minutes later, as I'm falling asleep I hear Bubba go by the bedroom door. He's looking for me, and finds me in bed (he thought I was downstairs ). Told him, no skool, wake me up at 9:30. Next thing I know, I'm waking up at 10am...no Bubba? So, had to get ready for work and he was going with me. Busy day today....and tonite. Worked late, so missed Bubba's first SWAT class ....but DH said he did great. Oh well....maybe another day....

Absolutely beat tonite.....but wanted you all to know I was still with ya's!

TODAY IS GROUNDHOG DAY!!!

One of our local banks has been sponsoring a groundhog day breakfast. Usually it is during the week at 8am. This year it is today (Saturday) at 9am. The good part is I get a nice warm breakfast (no - not groundhog, the usual breakfast fare - eggs, bacon, etc.) The bad part is I have to dress up instead of my usual Saturday casual work outfit.

Anyhoo, I am going to go to work early and hope to get in 2 hours before I have to leave for the breakfast.

I've been battling the "blahs". Didn't get as much done yesterday as I had hoped. Wound up fighting with a headache by yesterday afternoon and it is hanging with me this morning.

gave them to his soon to be ex wife to take their son!!!

evidently, he couldn't find a hotel & her parents winter down that way...she got killed on airfare though. She's acting like it's no big deal to snag tix - aren't they very scarce at this point?

Very scarce? Try non-existent at this point! The race sold out earlier this year than EVER before. You can pay through the nose through a ticket broker, but you can't buy tickets directly at all anymore. We ordered our tickets LAST February, after the last Daytona 500 ended. This is the 50th Anniversary of the race. BIG deal to get tickets!

Why do coaches plan practices for so early on the weekend? Mikey has to go to baseball practice at 10. Of course that is better than what yourds had to do but still. Why not practice in the afternoon and let them sleep in.

it's a cowmation, they stock them next to the labradoodles in the pet stores

warning - warning - vent ahead!!!

irritates me so as ex dog breeder; peeps going against standard(s) that pros (not to be confused with puppy mills) try so hard to achieve; including temperment. As in humans, some dogs should never have offspring. Anyone can get stud service, or worse yet-inbreed easy to do unwittingly without checking their lineage. Wind up with some funky-looking dog, they pass off as pure-bred (with or without papers) with possible physical defects; & they wonder why they can't get top dollar? They wind up dumping dogs in the pound or worse yet, sell to punks who use them for dog fighting training or experimentations vent over).
