Oh, and I've been meaning to add. I guess I'm the only one who likes when there are lot of pages to read? Well, maybe not when we got away for the weekend and I come back to like 20 or so, but I'm disappointed when it's been a few hours and I come back and there are like 3 replies. I LIKE to hear from you guys! (I just may not always be the best at responding, but I always read! )

If you use the CP, you just click on the little arrow next to the thread and it does the same thing! I just find the CP so much easier to use, especially when you're following more than one thread. And when I used to do email, I'd read the response in my email, then when I clicked it, I'd think I'd read stuff before, but I wouldn't have read all the posts (only the one in the email) and I'd get confused on what I'd read before or not!



Oh Shut Up! Currently wind chill -1 here and dropping rapidly! But it looks like the snow's finally tapering off. Looks like it's heading your way now Mac!

Congrats! I used to swim too. In the summer with the club and winter with the high school.

What did ya swim? I swam sprint - 50 free, 100 free, 100 back. Was state champion and an All-American my sophomore year in high school (in Michigan). Swam into college for a few years, but then met my husband and decided time with him was more important than time in the pool!

I swam 100 breast, 400 IM, 400 Medley Relay and every now and then the 500 free.

That was a neat site though - I'd never found that one before. I even signed up for the email and cell phone notifications of closings for my school district! Our district does them through the district, but we usually get notified about 7:30 (and school starts at 7:30!)

I recall the tryouts here this past July. . . DH's cousin went. She was better than some of those fools, but not THAT good!

Anyway, that girl is a teller at one of our banks!! Yea for her There was another contestant from Illinois that made it through on tonight's show as well.

Boy, you guys (and Todd) all swam exactly what I didn't! I was of the "when the going gets tough, the sprinters get out" philosophy. Funny because one of my friends was primarily a miler, but swam the 500 for high school. She'd be like "it's not even worth getting in the water for a 50" and I'd be like "And yet, I get the same medal and the same points that you do!"

I'm sitting here with my wine and cheese again, but thinking that some spiked hot cider would probably go much better with the weather!

i like the actual contest the best.
i like to remember the ones that are highlighted in each city audition and see how far they make it to the end.

ok, i fixed dinner at 5:15. son ate and said he was full.
at 9:00 he tells me he is hungry again and could i go out for him.


i said, uh oh.........it's like really cold and snowy outside.
but i went.

my windows in the car are frozen shut so i couldn't go thru the drive thru for the food.

had to park the car and walk inside.........man is it nasty out there tonight.



heard on the radio it was -20 w/ wc.
tv has weather as -2 for us now and that is not factoring in the wc.
