So I guess you can say the Hillbilly rule is in effect cause she lives in KY too.:lmao: :lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
I deleted my MySpace page after getting all kinds of trash wanting to be my friend. Yeah right. They were more like porn actors trying to add me to their spam list.

It's a Saturday night.

Who wants to join me for a Guiness and crisps?

Forgot to Welcome you Fred! and wish I could cause my 2 DS's invited 2 friends to spend the night and just got a hair cut so too short to pull and they know how to hit old dad's nerves:lmao: :lmao:

I deleted my MySpace page after getting all kinds of trash wanting to be my friend. Yeah right. They were more like porn actors trying to add me to their spam list.

I knew he was in there playing it, he was freaking cuz of his "time" limit....and the next thing I knew, he was playing a different game..... I know....bad Mom

You guys lead such exciting lives! Looks like it will be just me again tonight. DH is in SC for another week or so. And DS is heading out to see the girlfriend. Good thing I still have the dog who loves me but she's sleeping. Oh well back to on-line solitaire.

D...if we were THAT exciting in our lives, do you think we'd all be hangin' out here?? :rotfl2: I feel bad you're alone..... you shoulda went out and did something fun with somebody.... :sad2:

Good evening homies!
I'm usually in bed by this time. (We accountants leave such an exciting life)

But tonight we hit the WVU-Georgetown basketball game as we got some free tickets from a friend. Exciting game - down to the last second. Too bad, we lost by 1 point.:sad1:

Janet -
in wheeling it's indoor family atmosphere in the afternoons;
We also visit Wheeling track. I enjoy the races, as you can only spend $2 and that $2 lasts a long time. Longer than the $2 would in the slot machines.:lmao: And yes, the restaurant part of the track is nice atmosphere. Hubby and I get to make the trip (about 90 minute drive) about once a year. I guess this is good, as it keeps more money in my pockets.

She was my favorite part of that movie
Agree, I love Ellen and Dory. She was so right for that character.

Barb - congrats to Bubba!:cool1: :cool1: DS took karate for about 3 years until he moved up to the adult/teen class. Then he quit, said it wasn't "fun" anymore. But he did learn during his time and I think it helped him with his confidence.

barb (brab is too hard to type lol)

Ya know....I thot the same thing! :rotfl: But, hey...whatever works fer ya!

nice of yr mom! we got sick of haggling w/the peeps @ the port, always feel as though we're getting worked over;) . Figured the local boys could hook us up just fine. DH went to a couple places without me & was shocked they were trying to pass off the "simulated" as the real deal (sim. price too:eek: ).

I can understand that feeling....that's why I wouldn't even try in a foreign country ;) Remember she was in Puerto Rico for a month? My uncle (her brother) lives there 98% of the time (comes to USA home for tax time and dr. appts). Well, my uncle knows 'people' there and they have a jeweler there....he hooked her up ;) He's very honest and very reasonable...they've grown quite the friendship over the years..... name is Pepe IIRC....

mac - it'll be 16 big ones (if i add in the failed attempt would be nearly 31 years under my belt - longer than a few peeps here have been breathing:rotfl: ) call me methuselah

the first one don't count ;) ...which means you're only married about 6 months more than us!

as for staying warm @ sporting events, i swear by under armour & wearing a pair of pantyhose under socks, etc.

 um...yeah.....I AVOID pantyhose at ALL costs :headache:

Honestly, I have not made a single bad food choice for 26 days.
Wendy, good for you. I am glad the Alli is working for you. I am afraid to try it (due to the side effects). I work at our client's office alot and thus, cannot bring my lunch very often, so keeping the fat down might be a problem. You keep going girl!

Janet - Congrats on the 16 years:banana:
May you have another 16 years, and may Barb not squish your nanners.

I'm almost there. . . . it's been a "water retention" week.

oh yeah....hate those :headache:

I'm very committed to making healthy choices and have decided the weight loss is just a benefit of that. :thumbsup2 I'm still taking alli and still love it. :lovestruc Honestly, I have not made a single bad food choice for 26 days. The other day, dh brought home some of those snackwell devils food cookies. they have no fat, but do have more calories than I am willing to spend. So, being "water retention" week, I'm of course craving chocolate like the addict I am and decided I would eat ONE cookie. . .well that turned into 4 and I had 200 calories in like 2 minutes!!!:scared1: So I told him he had to eat the rest of the box immediately and never bring them home again. He ate the rest of the box. . . and let me shove them all in his mouth at once. . . well, I could only get 4 in there without choking him but I laughed my a$$ off. Then watching him try to chew that up and get it down made me laugh even harder. So I think I burned most of the calories doing this :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: He thought he was doing something so nice for me, but I schooled him on calorie count and presenting chocolate anything to a food addicted fat person with PMS. Poor guy. . . I eat frozen fruit bars when the sugar addiction kicks in and makes me feel like spinning my head completely around (you know the scene, right)

So I'm battling the addiction one day at a time. Eventually it's got to get easier. . . . :scared:

Good for you making healthy choices  Almost a MONTH of healthier eating

Altho, I think I would have shoved all those cookies in DH's mouth too :rotfl2: .....does he know THAT is NOT the kind of support you need now?? Tell him the next time he has the urge to buy cookies, to leave them in his car or underwear drawer....it's better you NOT know about them ;)

I like the 'mindset' you are in....not a diet...a 'new' way of life....lifestyle change...and that really IS what it is ;) Once my stomach shrank, I was amazed at how little food you actually need to eat a day :confused3 I finally understood the whole "5oz./deck of card size piece of meat" thing :goodvibes

Anyhow...you are doing great and a real inspiration.....keep up the good work!! Vacation is a comin' :woohoo:

Evening guys.

We just got back from grocery shopping about 45 minutes ago. Don't ask. Let me just say that some very odd people grocery shop on Saturday night. Well, other than us, there were some odd folks wandering around the store.

Stuff is put away, at least the perishables. I'm going to herd the males into bed. Whatever bed they land in. At this point, it doesn't matter who is where... just go to sleep so I can.

I am SO tired. Can you tell?

Okay...since you said "don't ask", I'm askin :teeth:

Do tell about the "odd characters" tonite.... :hyper:

Whatch buy?? French toast ingredients?? What did the person in front of ya have?? I don't mind the 'shopping'...it's the 'puttin away' i hate....altho, when I come home, usually DH will put away....ya know, since I went and all ;)

I hope no boy landed in the tub or toliet to sleep....that could be uncomfortable..... :scared:

It's a Saturday night.

Who wants to join me for a Guiness and crisps?

Can I just bring my milk & s'mores instead? :rolleyes1

I got a good one for you homies.
Hey this is your aint Mandy.
So I guess you can say the Hillbilly rule is in effect cause she lives in KY too.:lmao: :lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

 very cute!! at least you remembered who it was!!

RVgirl ... I didn't even want to clean my own house so sorry I won't be over to clean yours any time soon . :scratchin I am thinking maybe someone wants to come here and clean for me ?? :confused3 No takers huh ?

Soooo, does that mean you're not coming here either?? :confused3 I got good dust....you can actually write in mine, and have to wash your hands when you're finished :teeth:

 Oh...I get it now....you cleaned out to make room FOR the new duds (which, you did spell all those stores names correctly) ...smart lady! :thumbsup2

Good night homies,
think I'm going to hit the hay early tonight.

:wave2:

Not feeling so good after eating at Johnny Rockets tonight so off to bed I am going . I either over ate or it just isn't sitting well in my tummy .

Good night all see you in the morning .

Hope ya feel better.... (hope your food was cooked throughly)

DS took karate for about 3 years until he moved up to the adult/teen class. Then he quit, said it wasn't "fun" anymore. But he did learn during his time and I think it helped him with his confidence.

I can see your son's point....for the littler kids, they make it fun...you know, the whole "fun while learning in disguise" thing ;) Once they are adults, they expect more and it's tougher....but, I am certain he learned and uses things he doesn't even realize.....self control, discipline, respect, etc..... It is definately a confidence booster....to make errors and have the courage to do it again...to get up in front of all those people....yep...definately helps with life skills like that :thumbsup2 .... Can't think of anything bad.... (except how much it costs us :headache: )

anyone else beginning to think raven went to Italy for that pizza?? :confused3

startin to worry :rolleyes1

Us moms have these cool looking fleece blankets in the school color with the school logo on one corner and our son's name and number on the other corner.

The trick to staying warm, is to grab your seat right when the previous game is getting over and the person is leaving. It's still warm! :woohoo:

Heading out in an hour. Trying to psych myself up for it. You can do it, you can do it...

use the phrase of the day/week.....

keep on swimming, keep on swimming, keep on swimming, keep on swimming, keep on swimming, keep on swimming, keep on swimming

You guys lead such exciting lives! Looks like it will be just me again tonight. DH is in SC for another week or so. And DS is heading out to see the girlfriend. Good thing I still have the dog who loves me but she's sleeping. Oh well back to on-line solitaire.

i love doing the crossword puzzles on line, especially the ones that help you with the answers.......:rolleyes1

or i can google what i don't know.....

damo, just think, one week from today you will be at your other home.
you leave next friday and we will have the place cleaned up at least by noon then......

i invited Fred and he is bringing the guiness..........

ranges from dark blue to light purple (desired effect a cross between an amethyst and sapphire) very different for me since i'm partial to diamonds. Got a lecture as to care, etc.; evidently, it's tempermental - not as bad as opals; yet have to be careful. Went with white gold settings, again - all my other stuff is yellow. He's being so nice/generous, think he feels bad that i didn't get much in my stocking for Xmas when everyone else had goodies galore:confused3 either that or he's guilty about something:rolleyes1

mac - it'll be 16 big ones (if i add in the failed attempt would be nearly 31 years under my belt - longer than a few peeps here have been breathing:rotfl: ) call me methuselah

i have no idea on jewelry. mr mac has always said to our sons, "your mother doesn't like diamonds..." or expensive jewelry.

yea, i said that the first year i was married but come on.....my tastes have changed now...

janet, do we count the years in between the marriages or just count the years from first marriage to second marriage to today? i'm trying to decide on my number

It's a Saturday night.

Who wants to join me for a Guiness and crisps?

I got a good one for you homies.
I got an e-mail from a site like myspace that I belong to but haven't been on in forever and learned my aunt wants to be added to my friends list but thats not the funny part in the subject space it said Aint and was wondering what is was about and opened it up and here was the message.

so many people would say to me, "hey, do you step on your ANT or your AUNT?

i laughed but really laughed harder when i tp'ed their houses....

I deleted my MySpace page after getting all kinds of trash wanting to be my friend. Yeah right. They were more like porn actors trying to add me to their spam list.

that wasn't the porn queen that was me silly.....
now you have to figure out which one i was.

:welcome: Fred!

Sorry I forgot to say that before....kinda tired!

Not feeling so good after eating at Johnny Rockets tonight so off to bed I am going . I either over ate or it just isn't sitting well in my tummy .

Good night all see you in the morning .

g'night. hope pyou don't puke in bed. feel better in the morning.

Wow raven....how far'd you go for that pizza :confused3

well, the pizza joint is only one mile up the street.
mr mac turned the tv on while we ate pizza.
open range was on and i ended up watching that and then i started in on sniper....
but i am back here now.

Well I left the house today at 10:30 and returned at 5:00. Put up groceries & cooked dinner. I am pooped.

Sharon - Hope you are feeling better. The bread & deli meats are on the way. I got Virginina baked ham, smoked turkey & cajon turkey. Hope that is okay. How was hockey?

Mary - My dd has never wanted to get rid of anything until thius year. You would not believe the boxes of stuff we packed up. Hope you are feeling better to.

Janet - The jewelry sounds terrific. What a wonderful dh!

Jodie - I know it has to be hard to adjust back to days after being on a night shift. Don't know how people do it.

I don't do good cliff notes, that's why it took me so long to catch up. Mac does great cliff notes though.

Barb - Congrats to Bubba. I know that sometimes it seems like they are just doing to much but they can handle more than we think they can. That is really something to be proud of at such a young age.

Tricia - Was your trip to the store as wonderful as mine? UGH!

I think that Barb needs a trophy in her siggie too. It was a great thing for her & Randy to make.

Mac - You needed the sleep. Only thing is that you need to get to bed before 6.

Wendy - Keep up the great work. I think dh probably knows not to buy the cookies again.

Jennifer - Keep us informed on the rebate. Mac too. It's great to have people!

Hi Damo, Fred, Katie, Lawrence, Rose, Marcie, Allison, Tracie, Todd, DM and anyone else I missed in my tiredness.

Gonna hit the hay pretty quick. Gotta go check in to my other threads.

Nite everyone!
