We got snow all right....and my DH is stuck in it He got out of almost work TWO hours ago and still isn't home
(.....yelled something about people who can't drive..... we only live about a 45 min. drive for him )

Nope the part of Kentucky I live in every time the call for snow it passes us and to be honest I'm glad it does cause DW works 11 miles away and I dread driving that far on slick roads

maybe 3-4 inches ....of course, it started here around 1, really coming down around 2...people started panicking and leaving work all at the same time...fender benders and such....people thought it was icy, but just wet .....in other words, going about 50ft in half an hour

ok....thanks for celebrating WITH me (i was more kinda 'noting' it vs 'celebrating'.... but hey, if there's a party to be happenin'....i am SO there )


DH made it home at 6...now he's helping our neighbor load his moving truck...headin' back home to Chicago to live (& before ya ask mac, nope, dunno where) So, he gets done work at 3:45 and is usually home just before that hour would be up....to get home at 6, is, well, sad and maddening

Saw on the news about the plane crash....glad I wasn't on it....can't imagine the things that run thru your mind when they tell you to assume 'crash position'
Altho, I'm guessing Penny would be like: "Crap! We can't crash yet!! I haven't done and crossed off all the stuff on my bucket list yet!"

Glad it missed you....the news says not changing here...but, I'm thinking it's more 'sleet' than snow....that's worse

Are you kidding? We got up at the crack of dawn to watch ALL the coverage of the Royal Wedding when Diana married Charles. Sigh. I can still see her and all that dress stuffed into the Royal Carriage. That beautiful peach toned dress she wore after. I had roses in that shade of peach for a coursage sometime after that. I was the perfect age to find it all enchanting and romantic.
