Todd - I have 7 balls, 1 keycard, 3 keys and a scorecard thingy. I don't have a clue what to do next. I think I'm missing one key card. And I didn't figure out what to do with the computer.

I can't find the 7th ball or the 3rd key!

sorry, know lori's dd is a fan & i think she's harmless fun for the tweens; but had to laugh @ the pun on local news channel

hannah faketana...something to do with body doubles & (gasp) lip sinking:confused3 honestly, who cares as long as the girls have a good time? Think it's just disgrunted Fluffy moms (nod to tricia lol) that couldn't get tix & are try to justify it to their princesses in training.

OMG, I clicked on the link for the office game, and I must be an idiot, because I just don't get it. At all!

Tricia, have you heard if Carol is out of surgery yet? The news sounds optimistic, and I'm keeping my hopes high for you too! Your mom, BTW, sounds a lot like my grandmother, except my grandmother was never very social to begin with then when grandpa died, she now borders on anti-social. It's hard on my mom for sure. I try to help, but my hours are crazy, and grandma never wants to do anything when I can take her.

Sorry you lost your swim meet, Katie, And sorry Ry lost his last game, Barb. :(

MF, I totally remember Romper Room. I would wait show after show after show, and somehow she never saw "Jodie" through the looking glass! What was up with that? I also had the Romper Stompers! I loved them as much as my pogo stick! That is a really, really weak sexual harassment story. I work with very few women, and mainly good old boys. No one would ever file a complaint like that where I work. Geez.

Sharon, I swear, some kids don't realize what they post on My Space and Face Book can be used to incriminate them. Funny, but not too bright!

Janet and Wendy, good for you for quitting smoking for good! Poor Mike is in a perpetual state of trying to quit. He did fill a Chantix prescription, but it is simply sitting on top of our fridge right now. The other day, he found it in the freezer, because I think it fell in from where it sat on the top of the fridge. Some day. And Wendy congrats on the weight loss!

Hi Rose, good to hear from you. Sorry about the car problems! :(

I am sure I am forgetting something. Hi everyone!

Hey, I heard about that, and supposedly the double was only on stage during costume changes. Is that as bad as lip synching?!

I did try to get my niece HM tickets for Christmas, but let's face it, I was just not that committed!

Hi everyone!
Hey Jodie...I can't get as far as Sharon got in the game. Tell Mike I'm going to try Chantix next month and hope it works for me. It's gonna be a %*$&%!

LOL...no...it's in Japanese but if you go to the homepage you can switch to English.

Todd, good luck with Chantix! Come back and tell us how it's going. :goodvibes

Can I share my some good news? Seems we've had a lot of bad news lately so I wasn't sure if I should post that Mike's promotion finally came through. Yippee. He totally deserves it. Even though the raise is crap, he's a really good fit for the position, and I'm proud of him.

And, we booked a cruise today. Folks turn 60 this summer, and wanted to do a cruise. We're on RCCI's Mariner of the Seas. Someone here has done Royal Caribbean, right? We've cruised, but not on RCCI yet. If anyone has words of advice or tips specific to RCCI, I'd love to hear them. We go August 31. Should be interesting ... Mike thinks we won't see my parents till dinner time. Mom thinks she's ditching dad and hanging out with us all day. Can't see Mom happy drinking beers all day at the pool? :confused3

I will...you'll probably hear my withdrawl through the posts. :rotfl2:

That's great news about the promotion and the cruise. I'm sure you'll have a great time! :cool1:

:woohoo: jodie & mike:cheer2:

congrats on the cruise - what's ur itinerary:banana:

 u didn't book connecting cabins:rotfl:

 give mom a bucketful of quarters everyday & send her off to the casino...she might get lucky

Hang on to your hats people. I am sitting here with a glass of wine because I am celebrating.

That's right CELEBRATING!

My mom called a little bit ago and Carol is out of surgery. The surgeon was "very pleased" with the outcome. He did not have to enter her chest wall to get the mass. He did not have to remove a rib to get the mass. He is "almost certain" that he got all the cancer. AND there was enough skin to close without grafting.

She's got a long road ahead of her with recovery and post treatment, but how HUGE is this?!?! They think they got it!!!

and if it doesn't work the 1st time...

try, try again:thumbsup2 (cannot remember how many times i tried to quit over the years...i'd manage to quit during pregnancy & fire one back up again ASAP:confused3 )

do know i only drink 1 or 2 frosty ones since i quit, just doesn't seem right not to have a cigarette in my other hand...guess that's a good thing too?

how much is a pack in FL? They were $2 a pack for Malboros when I quit, believe in PA w/tax almost $5 a pack more or less

one friend put the money she would've spent in a jar as a incentive & went on a cruise:goodvibes

Wendy- Be careful with the Alli. A buddy and I started it then we stopped for a trip to Universal. We both had some severe pains. Alli won't let you cheat.

Would you be willing to share more details about your experience using Alli?? I'm very curious about other's experience with it. It's only been out since June, 2007, but it's taken over 50% of the entire diet aid market. . . 50%. . .that's huge.

I know that it won't let you "cheat". . . that's honestly why I love it. I have not made a bad choice at all. . . not even one, tiny little bad choice late at night when the Alli was no longer in my system. The way to "cheat" with Alli, I think, is just don't take the pill before you eat. It's my understanding that Alli is not cumulative in your system, like some drugs are. . . . it's there and gone.

I'm wondering specifically when you got severe pains?? I plan to stop taking it while we are on our vacation at the end of April, but I don't want to be sick during our trip. I forgot to take a pill before one of my meals a couple of days ago, and had no side effects. I had, of course prepared and eaten the meal as if I had taken Alli, but realized a while later I'd forgotten to take it. I'm very, very curious about your experience.

YAY for Mike :thumbsup2 :worship: sometimes it's the feeling of being appreciated and valued that means more than the bucks ( but hey. . .those are nice too!).

AAAHHHH, a cruise. . . that's our next family vacation, after Orlando 08, then of course after Vegas 09. DH wants to go on a cruise so bad
