Thought I would post a couple of pics for you guys. I would try to yak some and do some catchingp but my computer is once again doing what it pleases!

Yep...same thing only bigger/different shape... remember, can't use soap to wash it tho... my 2 are old and 'seasoned' pretty good from all the grease over the years

We won our swim meet today! Against my sis!

Have the relay carnival tomorrow for the swimmers so it will be an early morning. Then I'll be out for some shopping later on before we get the storm!

Janet, maybe you had 3623 or 3625? Those are some awesome views of the parks. Now, the weekends in Oct are blackout dates, but I was able to score suite upgrades at HRH those weekends this past Oct. (They would not, however, honor suite upgrades at PBH during that time.) Here's the thing tho ... all the suites are taken up ahead of time by us Platinum piggies, and as you get closer to Oct, it's doubtful you'll find any left at check-in. Do try at check-in though. You never know! But, if you're Gold, don't waste that on RPR. At least try PBH or HRH and see if you can score a Deluxe. RPR Gold only upgrades you from Std view to Water view (same size room).

We are trying to pick a weekend in Oct as well. Think I want to go early, like 10/2 - 10/7. Not sure yet though. So, the RPR Chard was gross, eh? I can see that. They always managed to send us a cheap bottle of sparkling wine. Not quite champagne. Gross as well, but the chocolate covered strawberries they sent with it were always a hit!

We are getting the richies a whole bunch of Wegmans products. They love Wegmans, but don't have any where they live, so at least it's something they can't easily buy for themselves. We're packing a Styrofoam cooler and bringing the goods up there when we go for our annual visit over NYE. If anything, they'll get a laugh.

I can't imagine doing HHN any other way. Expensive, but worth it. We're totally spoiled now. Looks like we can get the RPR suite upgrade now, and for a lot cheaper than HRH. Mike won't do PBH. So think we'll save a bit and do RPR for October. This was also the case last year: the AAA discount at HRH is < the AAA discount at both PBH and RPR again this year. Hmmpph.

I'm not sure if I'm improving or not. Spent a restless night. Still some pain, but maybe not as intense or as often? Keeping my fingers crossed that a few more doses will make a difference.

I freaked out when I got the Donnatal filled. The "generic" term on my bottle was Belladonna/Penobarbital.

Ummm... nothing says "muscle relaxer" like a good old fashioned barbituate!

I took the first one of those last night about 7pm with strict warnings for Brad to keep an eye on me and let me know if I acted loopy. I don't want to take anything that's going to hamper my ability to take care of the boys. I waited over 2 hours for the hippy-trippy, but... nothing. I never felt anything. Not even drowsy.

I guess it is either VERY mild or a derivative of?

I'm sorry to hear that Mac. I talked to my MIL on the phone last night. She thought she was in her brothers bed and he was gonna find her and be mad at her. Brother has been dead for 40+ years....it's sux watching your parents get old. Heading down to visit her today before the snow storm hits. We never thought she would make it to X-mas. Guess I'd better get looking for a gift!

hi rose!

party was fine last night.
it was held at the Fulton on the River (* or Lake, i forgot already) resturant.
the wait staff that carried around the h'rdourves were so nice to me.
they kept me full with their wonderful snacks until it was time for dinner.

i don't like eating dinner at 8:30 so i snacked from 6 to real food time.
everyone else had fun getting drunk.
which was a good thing as then no one paid any attention to the pig i was for those 2.5 hours of munching.........


and since the group started their unofficial party at 3 yesterday at the office, most of them already had a buzz.

i started snacking when i got to the place which was one block across the chicago river to fultons from mr mac's office downtown.

it was a dress up, tie required, evening affair. really great food!

had a hard time getting a coke, the bars (3) had lots of diet coke.
they had to find the coke for me.





i have not done a thing for christmas yet except for the ornabuddy.
see who takes priority in my life....

i found another bag of stuff i forgot to put in my box.
think i will save it for the april fool gag gift next year.
you know we need to have one, recycle that white elephant you get in december......

rose, they have some of the sidewalks roped off due to the dangerous ice cycles. those suckers can kill you if you get hit by one of them.

Carol called me in a panic this morning. They are headed to Deb's family Christmas Open House gathering this afternoon. She calls and says, "How do you make cheese straws?" So, I started telling her what she needed. She said, "Do you have any or all of that stuff?" I told her that except for the decent cheese, yeah, I had everything. "I'll run to the store and be right there."

I just spent the last three hours "helping" her make her very first attempts at cheese straws. Three friggin batches worth.
