Christmas 2005, Sadie was still a puppy, 7 months old, and decided that the electrical wire for the lights on the tree looked yummy. We were sitting there, the tree lights dimmed and she yelped Needless to say she never tried it again.

EXACT same thing happened to us with our kitty, but in 1989! We pulled the tree out this year (18 years later), she took one look at it and ZIPPED out of the room (and 18 year old cats don't "zip' all that much!). She learned the hard way as well!

I have mailed my ornabuddy box. I have not recieved an onrnabuddy box. I am waiting patiently.

We went on Sunday and Monday in August. Were very surprised that Sunday was far less crowded than Monday! What did you want to know?

You don't have all the 'size' part at the beginning in color.... the beginning of your 'color' is in the word 'size' at the beginning....the word "size" is broken up....

go back and get rid of the 'color' and 'size'...just leave the text (like normal).... THEN go back and hilite your text, click on size and color you want...should fix itself!

In the bottom right corner of the post you are reading, there are 3 buttons...the first is a "quote" button, the second is a button in the middle with a quote ( " ) and plus sign ( + ) in it and the third is a featherpen looking button.

While you are reading that post, and if you'd like to comment on something in that post you're reading, click on that center button...the one with the quote ( " ) and plus ( + ) sign in it. It should hilight red. (the page won't change yet....just that box will be red).

When you are finished, click reply at the bottom left of the page.

What you clicked on for the quote ( " ) [and made red hilighted] will all now be in your reply box.... if you want to break up the quotes to reply to, make sure every comment has the word -quote- in [brackets] at the beginning and -/quote- in [brackets] at the end.....

I am still not brave enough to put food in my stomach again yet. Maybe some crackers in a bit, but the soup really made things hurt earlier. I'm not hungry anyway. My joints ache too. Please, please, please don't let this be the beginnings of the flu.

Oh, and tomorrow is Polar Express day at school. Joshua gets to wear his pajamas and take his pillow. How cute is that?

Barb - Your pictures were great. The flashing tree was amazing and you might have waited until the last minute, but your family pic was worth it!

The mental image of man-scratching-butt was too much. If you want to trade places, however, you should see some of the clientele we get from time to time. We sell RVs, which sometimes get used as "home" to folks that can't afford anything else. Remind me to tell you the classic story of the group of people we dubbed "The Stinkys" one of these days...

Hi all-
I am sorry I haven't been here
I'm alive and well. Just busy.
I really haven't had much time to read up a few pages.

We have had freezing rain here overnight and today on and off. My kids still had school today. Sounds like band practice is still going to be after school at the jr high as usual today. I emailed Matthew's band teacher and he said band is still meeting this afternoon. Oh well, I was hoping not to have to take him with this crazy weather, but I guess I will.
That's ok, because I do like his band teacher.

I did mail out my ornament exchange today.

I can't really catch up, but Trishia, hope you are feeling better.

I like the pics that were up, Marcie's, Sharon's, Barb's

Ran around and did errands yesterday, got my haircut and got stamps at post office.

Sharon....thanks for the compliments on the house. I grew up in Charlottesville and worked for UVa for 3.5 years before moving here. Just remember...when you tour the campus, it's called the "grounds"...not campus. Sorry...I can't throw stuff around...it helps being single and not having any animals or roommates to clean up after. The cat thing is a metal sculpture my parents gave me some years ago. They got it at a flea market here when they were on vacation. I'm allergic to cats and can not be anywhere near them so that's the closest I can get.
