I'm WAY past buzzed now. My brother is coming in from New Jersey for the day tomorrow. Don't know if he's bringing psycho wife with him. I want bonus points for spelling psycho while I'm drunk! You won't believe how many times I've backed up and re-typed this sh.... stuff... He hasn't been home since psycho wife and my mom had a shouting match the day before my father's funeral. Hello? Can you say beeyotch? Yep. Who attacks a 75 year old woman the day after she buries her husband of 53 years? That would be the lovely drug addicted sucide threatening control freak that my brother is married to.

Darryl (brother) is coming for the day... as in flying in to Atlanta tomorrow morning, driving up here, spend a few hours, driving back and flying home tomorrow night... because Carol asked him. She gave him the "it's been a year since we've seen you and I might be dying" speech. Pretty powerful stuff if you care one teensy bit about your sibling.

Let's just say that Karen (psycho wife) tried to make my father's funeral ALL ABOUT HER. She wanted to read some 3 page letter that she'd written. Ummm... she met my dad 2 years prior to his death... and spent all of 20 days anywhere near him. Is this the woman who should be speaking at his funeral? I think not. Sit down and shut up. If she isn't the center of attention, she isn't happy... and tries to make herself the center of attention. Do you know one of these people? If there is no drama in her life, she makes it up. Who lives like that?

Before she left, she went to see a friend of hers who has been fighting cancer for several years and just decided to give up.... good thing she did, her friend died less than a week before she came home ) ...moral of story...brother needs to visit more frequently when Carol is as sick as she is!

We're watching Santa Clause 2 on ABC Family, but not because I have anything against the Grinch movie. I thought Jim Carrey did a pretty good job with the story. Not that it was anything like the book or cartoon, but enjoyable all the same.

I wrote my sister off for many reasons...that was just one of them. She is just a nasty, self-centered beyotch and my life is much happier and less stressful without her and her family in it.

Regarding the car...sometimes it IS cheaper to put $$ into it than buy a new one w/ the payments..... Ya just have to expect that....

Yeah I know....My payment is only $227/month now and I know I would be looking at $100 increase on the payment and who knows how much more on the car insurance. Luckily we don't have car taxes here so that's a good thing.

just got back from a hockey game. We lost by one goal. Oh well, we'll get em next time. One of our star defensemen broke his wrist tonight.

Spent the afternoon with my great aunt. She is 93 and looks wonderful. Puts on her lipstick and jewelry every day! Here's a picture of her I took today. I swear, I have more wrinkles than she does!

Todd - thanks for the heads up on CompUSA. We don't have any in ME but there are 2 in NH. My DH is in sales and covers both ME and NH, so I'm sure he will stop in if he's in the area. He never met an electronics store that he didn't like! We're hoping to buy DS a laptop for graduation.

Sorry about the loss Sharon...you're right, makes 'em hungry for next time Glad it wasn't YOUR DS that broke his wrist...that's a shame...with the holidays coming and the season so young Poor guy....

i decided i liked that ELF so much, i bought it/ got it with a couple of books online and got free shipping, 3 days delivery.
i like watching the bishop's wife and white christmas too.
and the scrooge with alastair sim.

when we go neighborhood shopping in utah in sept, i thought of on our annviersary day, maybe going horseback riding a couple of hours, near a horse farm.
would that be a good thing to do, do you think? I have not been on a horse in like 30 years, i would think they have some slow,gentle horses for unambitious folks like me.
