- Hump Day!!! We decorated most of the tree last night and buddybean was asleep.....soooooo guess what I woke up to this morning??? A VERY, VERY undecorated tree

Marcie and Sharon - I am dealing with the 7th grader who forgets everything but does way off the charts with standardized testing. Last night she "remembered" at 8pm that she had a project due today. It was to make a newspaper front page from the signing of the Constitution. Needless to say at 11:30 it still was not done - and she was 15 minutes late today because she had to get up and finish it

mac - how did your medical tests turn out?? did son bring that tree up for you last night?? tell him he better listen or else mommabean will have to come out there and take care of his butt

hey Lawrence - u a trucker? Tuff job DH went into the steel mills (yep, we still have them) when he got out out of service/college & they were paying way more $ than he could find elsewhere.

when times got bad for the industry 15 years or so ago, he went to skool to learn to drive the big rigs . He only drives between plants a couple times in an 8 hour shift (guess he's the world's shortest hauler lol); mostly tri axles & tractor trailers w/coils & slabs.

Now they want to use mostly outside drivers & aren't doing new hires, so DH has been working 12 hour shifts (starts tomorrow @ 3 am ).

fyi, i had my ebay auction pulled again for leftover SW credit. Must find the right category to slip it thru , will try travel-other this go-around.

lol sorry about taking so long to respond but no I am not a trucker and not too many of us out there but for the time being I am a stay at home dad due to an accident I had a few years ago and can't work and crazy but they tell me I am too young to draw disability.
go figure worked ever since I was 17 so you would think I put in enough time.

Hi homies!

Sorry I haven't been around to post. Busy as usual. DH has been going to a few interviews this week so far(mostly interviewing w/ recruiters again). He keeps getting phone calls from them to go into interview, which is good!
I think he has his 3rd interview in a row tomorrow morning. Still working his temp job as usual, nothing has changed there.

There was a HUGE argument with one of the vice-presidents and the CEO/president of hte company last Friday. Alot of yelling between the 2 of them and something got thrown against the wall during the heated argument Thank goodness DH was not involved in it at all. His office is a few doors down from their office. I guess things are better now. Wish I was a fly on the wall with all that stuff going on at his work last Fri.

OK, just let me know the chat time. I won't be on the computer for awhile, as the kids are coming home now. Kids have to get their homework going.

Glad you didnt' get seriously hurt.

you CAN draw SSA if you have worked 15 quarters in your life.

most people can do that within 5 years.

Well guys....

We got Penny home from the Vets today and buried her. She just looked like she was asleep and seeing her so peaceful made it a lot easier to accept her death. I cried all day long today but now I can see that we gave her a great 10 years and now shes in peace, looking over us.
