Sorry for those of you that had already gone out to shop for my nursery.

Actually, I was willing to discuss having a third child after Daniel was born. Hubby, however, is quite sure that he is done. We've always said that if it isn't right for both of us, then it isn't right for either of us... so, unless there is a HUGE surprise in our near future (menopause tends to hit early in my family)... no more babies.

Okay, glad to hear that Gemma wasn't drinking pea cider. I had horrible visions in my head of what pea cider would look like. :scared:

Lori, I just got a mental image of Mush Mouth (from the old Cosby cartoon)... We-buh did-buh good-buh... We-buh Scorded!
Really, I'm glad that your team did good if it was a game you cared about. I'm a Georgia Tech girl, so as long as Tech wins and UGA loses, I'm fine. :teeth:

NO poop cake.
NO dingleberry pie.
NO urinal cakes. (thought that might be next)

you're such a potty mouth:rotfl: :lmao:

congrats on the shiny new tag:banana:

now, confess -tell me it's pedigree!

I think I'll start a general Saturday shout out to all:wizard: It is hard to keep up, even being mia for only a day or so lol...

eye test went badly, spent most of the day there; evidently will need to monitor every 6 months...forever...now that is a long time. Some DISer used to say crap on a cracker - suits the bill.

Jodie - i adore reading grown up TRs, i've never been one one - yet.

Barb - 2 PT jobs! I used to do the same thing; at times a full time one & 2 PTs...gotta go with the flow:thumbsup2

marcie - good luck on auditions for DS, it's very early? What date? We don't do our until the Spring.

The Wolves won!:cheer2: Finally, it's been a long haul for DS... score 30 to 12. Penn State's thrashing Notre Dame; will have to payup on bet with DH:rolleyes1

lori - hope DVC doesn't leave us high & dry.

traci - any football scores to report

Happy Saturday everyone!

What a gorgeous day! 80s and sunny!

Barb: I don't think I am going to get married at the pavilion. Not that it isn't tempting considering it is one of the only places with AC. But to rent it, it costs $1000 more than any other location, and it certainly is beautiful, but not my favorite. I will post those pics shortly ;)

Rose: The Wedding Pavilion is located between the Grand Floridian and the Polynesian.

Tricia: The Pavilion seems like an extension of the Grand Floridian, because of the look, and it is strictly for weddings.

I was actually surprised that you could just go up and walk in and around. No tour guide or anything. They were actually setting up for a wedding that afternoon as we were leaving.

KFed - did you checkout the outdoor spot past the BW area before you get to the bridge @ Epcot?

Last couple times we stayed in that area, we saw many evening (think as the sun just starts to set weddings) beautiful. Several during the afternoon too.

Hey hey Penny....welcome back! Grand time, eh? You missed Tricia's excitement..... she got tagged and we thoughted she was pregnant...but, no :sad2: Macraven called off the babyshower, so, I had to return my gift and Lori was glad she didn't get one yet. Lookin' forward to hearin' all about your trip.

Also lookin forward to Katie's pix.....

Janet...sorry to hear about the eyes  that is a bummer dude! :guilty: Oh, and I like the "2 part-time jobs vs. 1 full-time job" thing.... since I don't get vacation pay at either, I take as much time off as I want :yay: (next summer Florida trip is gonna be 17 days :woohoo: ) The flexibility with my schedule works well for me, since I am the one who is home for the boy (home to get him off to school, home when he gets home, etc.... DH works almost an hour from home, so he's restricted time-wise)

Oh, and the Eagles play at 1pm tomorrow...so no PRO football to report. I can't imagine little "F" bean playin' football in this heat! Our area was high 80's/low 90's today and humid....and will be for the next couple of days.

Hey Elmer....how'd dinner go? AND, about dessert? ;)

Penny - welcome home:dance3: hope your trip was all you wished for & more!

got a count down set for the next one;)

barb - i gotcha now...that whole blonde in one eye, blind in the other:headache: ; least i can laff about it...like my heroine Scarlett said "I can't think about that right now. If I do I'll go crazy. I'll think about that tomorrow" - not

Made me think about my 1st wedding dress - think Gone With the Wind; all chantilly lace & ruffles, supported by a giant hoop skirt:rotfl: what was I thinking? will have to look for a pic (without the ex in it lol).

Welcome back Penny!:cool1:

Keisha - thanks for the well-wishes! DS did get into the play - not quite as bit as a role as he would have hoped, but one where he's in at least a few scenes. Gues it's a start for a freshman! They had auditions on the first day of school (Tuesday), then callbacks Wed-Thu, then announced the cast yesterday. They do a musical in the spring as well that he hopes to be in.

Had an exhausting day today as we did DH's company's run this morning - we just did the 2 mile run (opted against the 10K). DH ran ahead with DS12, while I got stuck with DS14 who spent the run pointing out how much he hates 1) waking up early, 2) the sun (we were running right into it), 3) running, and 4) the fact that his shoelace came untied 4 times during the run. It was quite a pleasant experience, can you tell?:sad2:

Then we went to DS15's soccer tournament down about an hour away (Oshkosh for those of you who've heard of it!). DS was playing his first games since his back injury/diagnosis. The first game went well and they won easily 3-0. Second game became much more physical and at one point DS got knocked down, then had his stomach stepped on by an opposing player (I will admit that I don't think this part was intentional). He sat out the rest of the game with cleat marks (cute little circles!) on his stomach!

So are we the only Michigan fans? Last week was actually sort of funny, but after this week it's just getting embarrassing!

Welcome back Penny! Hope you had a grand ole' time!

Keisha: There are two spots close to Epcot. Originally, I was thinking of a spot called Sea Breeze Point. This overlooks the water and the Dolphin and Swan Hotels. But when I visited, I was less than impressed. It just seemed kinda dull to me.

The other spot, called the Yacht Club Gazebo, is across the way. I'm going to post those pics very soon!

Janet - I sure hope DVC doesn't leave us high and dry either. Things aren't looking to promising at the moment though. Lots of very upset DVCer's. Personally I am holding off on the add on we were thinking about.

Congrats to your DS. I bet that took a little pressure off.

Katie - can't wait to see the photo's of your pick for the wedding. Hmmm, I wonder if all of us homies could make it to the wedding?!?

Penny - Welcome home. Can't wait to hear all about your trip.

Marcie - Congrats to Stephen. Is that right? Sorry, not a Michigan fan. They are having a rough time of it this year. You can adopt my Sooners if you would like!

Barb - sounds like a great set up. I might even be able to handle something along those lines.

Nite all!

Keisha - Thanks for the congrats! Sorry to hear about the eyes. Every 6 months FOREVER is a long time.

Marcie - Congrats to the DS for getting in the play!
You probably don't want to take me on a run. I'd be like your son. The only reason I run is if someone is chasing me. Exercise, yes... but running is not my exercise of choice.

Katie - Looking forward to the pics of where you are thinking of having the wedding. Did I get that right? The pavillion is out, but Epcot is a maybe?

Hey to Lori & Mac! You guys came and went again last night after I left to watch the race.

Morning everyone.

I won't be around much today since I've got the birthday dinner thing to get ready for.

The race last night was painful. I may never forgive Kevin Harvick. I don't care if he is the nicest guy on the planet. He denied my beloved Mark Martin his career finishing Daytona 500 win... and now, just by being there, he denied Junior a shot at the Chase. Now I'm stuck listening to DH cheer for Jeff Gordon (while I secretly pull for Tony Stewart). Sigh.

I know. If you aren't a NASCAR fan, that paragraph meant nothing. Feel free to ignore it. :rolleyes1

I'm going to try to watch some of the Falcons game today. It is hard to watch the games on tv right now because the announcers won't SHUT UP about Vick. Is Vick on the field? No. Is he even in the NFL at the moment? No. So STOP with Vick chatter already! :headache:

Mornin' all :wave2:

Okay.....Janet & Lori, I am totally lost on the whole DVC "hangin' you out to dry?" What in the world is going on? :confused3 (Only ask cuz SIL is DVC member, but I don't see her much)

Marice...glad to hear your son made the play :goodvibes Hope he enjoys the role he got (even tho it isn't what he was "goin' for") Does your soccer son feel better today? At Bubba's game yesterday, a kid on the other team was dribbling up the field, he STEPPED on the ball, and went feet over head and fell. I thought (by the way it looked) he broke his arm, but he was okay. In any event, it resulted in a penalty kick :confused3 and they barely scored :sad2: Our ref wasn't so good...but, it was a young gal, who couldn't be there ontime cuz she went to the wrong field....eh, what do ya expect? :headache:

Katie, you post yer pix, we'll give you honest feedback..... and don't be surprised if you DO get a shower.... ;) ....after all, we missed out on Tricia's! :guilty:

Actually...I had to clean off the monitor when I read that. I shouldn't read stuff when I'm drinking! :rotfl2:

Barb accused me of causing her to spit milk on her monitor. Should I add a disclaimer to my posts? "Please put down all beverages before reading. Thank you for your cooperation." ;)

Sure....a little warning would be nice :rolleyes1

I forgot to mention, I'll be out from 1pm till early evening....EAGLES are on at 1pm (not sure what time Falcons are on?) and then having company for dinner....so, don't expect me too much this afternoon either :sad2:

That would be nice Elmer...we all know you've got a great sense of humor but this could be expensive for some of us...you know? ;) :lmao:

Sure....a little warning would be nice :rolleyes1
Barb is right on....hehehe. :thumbsup2

Here is where I would like to have the wedding ceremony....

Here is the only pic I'll be posting from our adults only trip to the Wharf. The other pictures ... well, I'd rather not get into those. :rolleyes1 I'm sure you can tell, but I actually had to crop this one:
