Oh, yes. I can be the queen of "fake 'N bake" when I need to. My potato salad that gets all the compliments? Made by the Ingles deli... poured into a bowl... sprinkled with paprika... and covered in saran wrap.

Had soccer game this morning....they did really well, but sadly we lost We scored the first goal, and sadly, each of our 2 goalies let 2 in each For the first time playing together, they did great. Excellent in the passing, however, I think coach concentrated on "passing" soooo much, they didn't get "aggressive" and "go after" the ball So Mondays practice will focus on that and defense. Should be interesting. Will post pix and/or video if i can later today.....

Hey Rose! Just on for a quick second. My beloved Sooners are playing the stinkin Huricanes. Very nervous around here. Anyway, my sister will either arrive on the 27th or early on the 28th and will be leaving on the 1st. I may be coming with her but am not sure yet if I can get around.

Katie - That wedding pavillion looks lovely! Is it a section/building strictly for weddings or is it part of a hotel complex?

Barb - I'll try to see how many I can take down with me. I had to suffer through it, so should they. Just kidding. My biggest fear is that one (or both) of the boys will get it. I've dealt with enough poo for the moment, thank you.

Lori - I won't mention to Hubby that you called his 'Canes "stinkin". He actually attended FAU, but since they didn't have a football team back then (can't imagine why... who wouldn't cheer for the Burrowing Owls...) they went to the Miami games.


I can set everyone's mind to rest. I am mostly recovered from my stomach bug AND I am most definitely NOT pregnant.

My mom & my sister are at the Georgia Tech game now. They should be happy. I'm just hoping to get the boys settled early enough that I can watch the race tonight.

Hey Tricia! Sorry, hope I didn't offend hubby to much. Lots of bad blood here with them Canes, all because of Jimmy Johnson - had my boy Troy taken out of that game years ago cause he couldn't beat 'em any other way. So I am so glad to say

Actually, I keep trying to get him to WATCH and cheer for his alumni team. He doesn't seem interested. He went to the Miami games when he was in college, so he still keeps up with the Miami games now. Doesn't seem to matter that FAU now has a team.

Sorry! Hope I didn't offend anyone. This was actually the first game I have cared to watch in several years. It was very nerve racking in the first half & about half way through the third quarter then things got very nice, at least here.

If it makes you feel any better, Stoops has assembled one heck of a team. Amazing that very few of them are seniors. The man can find some great talent.

And I just saw that I spelled scored wrong. How embarrassing!Must have been very excited.

Well, lets just say that for the first half & about half of the third quarter I was very queazy. It has been years since even gave a flip about a game. It was fun in the end though!!!!!
