it is me. Had the biopsy yesterday.
The arm of this chair is holding up my arm, as it is difficult to move around. wont have results till "after 3 business days:scared: "

I did not cry.I took some better living thru chemistry happy pills beforehand and smiled during the whole thing. went to bed when I got home and the woke up, and the lidocaine had worn off. yeah, the crap hit the fan. curled up on the floor and just cried. you know, the girl cry. DH could not do a thing, as he knew if he even touched me he would be the next display at the Haunted Mansion. good man cut up my dinner with a knife and fork so I could eat and just listened to me. He is up for DH of the year now. Told him he would get his reward later. :rolleyes1

will keep it low key for a few days. I cannot fathom getting in the car and putting the seat belt across me right now:scared:
so ( ingore this male threaders) bras are out. :scared1:

Hanging in there.
Barb, the Yanks are headed down the same path as the Phillies. Baseball hell.

Spoiler alert-
saw CSI- and Jorja Fox's interview in TV Guide.
SHE IS DEFINETLY DONE IN NOV.
New chick coming on.
Did any of you notice the chemistry between Warrrick and Catherine? MY WARRICK? Looking at another girl?:scared:

Poor Penny! It hurt just to read that! Hope you start feeling better soon. :sad1:

Keep us posted on the work stuff Barb. This is better than a soap opera. popcorn::

Tracie - I hope things work out for the in vitro. I can't imagine what it is like to try to conceive and then not be able to.

Jodie- Have a fun, pampered, pre-vacation day!

Janet - USED Crocs??? I wouldn't even buy them new and people are buying USED ones??? Gotta love eBay...

Todd - Glad you had a good evening with Mac. Let us know when you get the report up.

Where's Gemma? Did she clobber her housemate and wind up in jail? Do we need to start a bail collection???

penny -

I am so sorry you are in pain - hope you feel better really soon! :flower3:

I know a girl cry - I had one at the Phils game on Sunday. I was playing peek a boo with a small baby while balancing a bag, camera, a beer. :upsidedow Apparently I spilled a little on Dad's leg (he was wearing sandals) and he told me off - I tried to explain that I was playing with the baby and that i didn't realize I spilled....he didn't care, he was nasty about it all - and I promptly started to quietly cry (I love babies). Jim was trying his best but eventually he gave up because he knew how bad it hurt my feelings and when I went to the bathroom, he told me not to talk to anymore babies :lmao:

He has since turned it into one of our stadium rules:
1) no wearing flip flops (because I fell)
2) no talking to babies

Tracie - I hope things work out for the in vitro. I can't imagine what it is like to try to conceive and then not be able to.

I hope it works for them too. For awhile we joked that me and jim would just have a few more and just turn them over to bro and sil to raise. I can't imagine the feeling either - it always came easily to me :guilty:

I also hope it works because whatever medicine she is on, its making her evil :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: Gotta love hormone therapy :scared1:

Pregnancy came easy for us too. First month we tried, BINGO, we's gonna have a baby.

Feel sorry for the baby of the jerk if he yelled at you for spilling beer on him. Number 1, YOU ARE AT A STADIUM where beer is flowing... odds are, if you attend enough games, you are going to get something on you. Number 2, ACCIDENTS HAPPEN... get over it. Number 3, when someone explains that the accident happened while they were making your baby laugh... seriously get over it. :sad2:

I hate to even say what Jim was saying because its kind of insensitive to people like my brother & sil - so I apologize ahead of time........he was saying "look at them, they are older than us (mid 40's) and this is probably their $60,000 baby - not everyone likes their baby played with. That being said, you were just entertaining the baby and you should have dumped the rest of your beer on his leg for being a *bleeping bleepbleep*....now, no more playing with, looking at, talking to babies in stadiums":)

Tracie - anything said in defense of your spouse is automatically excusable. :lmao:

This has to be a record. It is October the 5th and I haven't received one of those stupid scary emails yet. You know the ones. "Search in the woods for the hidden animal. Look closely for he is a timid creature..." Then some hideous skeletal face pops up screaming like a banshee.

Hysterical.

No really. :sad2:

I can't stop laughing.

Did I mention that being frightened doesn't amuse me? :rolleyes1

Oh cripes, I hate those things too! But now that you have said it, your email will be flooded this afternoon with them - you know, that guy Murphy and is dangflabbin Law :rolleyes1

Jim is generally a pretty easy going guy, but he was not at all happy that el jerko made his wife cry. When he said what he said, he was still standing next to the guy :scared: Kinda like a you crushed her spirit, here's a crush for your ego stumpy! I love my man

Sneaking in before my tanning appt:

Penny, relax and take it easy today. Hoping for good results for you!

Tracie, what a shlephead that guy was at the Stadium. Geez. Some people ...

Barb, you evil devil! Have "fun" at work on Monday!

Tricia, I was going to say hope you're having a poop-free day! But then I thought ... what if she needs a good poo?

Hey guys, I am here!!! I didn't clobber her but came very close- I had to use to much willpower not to!

Tracie- I will think of your bro and sil, horrible to think that potential great parents can't get pregnant and yet there are horrible parents out there that you read about everyday who keep pushin' them out more times than they've changed underwear!

Penny- I hope you feel better soon and good luck for the results. Glad your husband has been so supportive (and knew what to do!)

Barb- I like your DHs long hair but my fave has to be Bubbas!

Tracie- Evil man at the game! I would have tipped the beer on his head!

As for me, I am going out tonight!! woohooo. It's a friends birthday so we are going to get him wasted (although to be fair he's already drunk and its only 6.45pm here). We aren't meeting him until about 9.30-10 so I'm dreading seeing what state he is in then!! Got a new dress which I love!! May post pics tomorrow but I have to use my friends camera as I forgot to bring mine to uni...whoops!!

What's everyone elses plans for this fine night?

Hi guys! For the present moment, believe it or not, my internet and computer are BOTH working! :cool1: :cool1:

And, for some bizarre reason, it's 87 and sunny here in the "frozen tundra" of Green Bay! :confused3 Went out to lunch with a friend and ate outdoors, in shorts - does this seem right for a week into October? Oh, well, we're certainly not complaining! :woohoo:

I'm going to try to get caught up on some posts while I have a chance here and the computer's cooperating. I can pretty much only handle one quote at a time though, so bear with me (yes, I realize how to do it - one way at least, but I find multi-quoting to take longer and be more bulky! If there's an easy way let me know!)

Okay - destination weddings... I didn't drop in on the thread and certainly didn't want to get involved in a debate, but we had kind of a destination wedding for a different reason. DH's and my family were from different states, and we figured we'd alienate whoever's side of the family we chose. Instead, it was just easier to get married at West Point (since it was 2 days after graduation). We didn't expect (or really want) most casual aquaintances to come and figured that by making it out of state it gave them an easy excuse. Especially since yes we did have it on a Friday afternoon (we got engaged and started trying to plan a date in the Catholic chapel at WP in Sept of 1986 for a wedding in May of 1988 and there were NO Saturday dates available already).

So our wedding was really only about 40 people - friends from WP who'd hung around after graduation and close family. And really I think it was better and more intimate that way. We did have a big shower back in Michigan for me (where my family was from) and had well over 100 people there so I got my "limelight".

Just thought I'd throw out a different reason for a destination wedding - if you really don't want too many folks anyways!

barb - forgot to mention, i was never so happy as when DS decided he didn't want to play soccer anymore, especially the winter (indoor league). A shocking expense for a casual participant imo. Most of the other parents didn't blink an eye & had their kiddos in more than one league.:confused3 Then you have the away-tournament costs, etc.; almost becomes an obsession...sorta like Orlando.

All I can say about this is that soccer is by far the cheapest sport my kids have gotten into. Yes, I have two in travel soccer and we had at least one weekend last summer where they were in different states - meaning splitting the family and two hotel room bills! But compared to gymnastics, swimming, and skiing, soccer's just downright cheap! And I know hockey is even worse.

Generally our team fees for a season (travel) are around $200 (not counting tournaments, uniform, or hotel). I think gymnastics and swimming were about that per month. Skiing can cost that for the day easily if we all go. So I'm kind of glad to stick with soccer here!

Hey Marcie! Did you start the new job yet? I figured that was why you were MIA.

Yep, I've been at said new job for 3 weeks now and have actually survived! I’m working for a finance company that primarily handles life insurance, annuities, and things like that. But we’re more of a “dealing with the agents” type place than a “selling” type place. We pretty much handle all the paperwork for all the agents to get licensed to sell insurance for a zillion companies, and the paperwork when they do sell insurance to get it processed. We do have some people call for assistance with their policies (most frequently when someone’s died), but that’s all via phone or email.

So it’s a nice relaxed atmosphere as far as dress and the people. There are only 4 people in the office – the two partners (both guys), another lady who did the work I’m doing but has been taking over some of the more “real” work since she’s gotten licensed, and me. I’m working Monday through Thursday from 11:30-4:30, which is okay. I wish it was about an hour earlier on both ends, but they wanted someone to be the “end of the day” person and do all the computer backups, mail, etc. Apparently in this industry pretty much no one works on Fridays which works for me!

So far the job has been a lot more than I was expecting in terms of what I’m doing. I expected basic secretarial, meaning answer the phone and type and file stuff. But it’s really a lot more computer work. I have 2 desks with 3 different computers that all do different things and spend my day whizzing my chair around between the three of them. They’re in the process of switching computer systems over completely which means transferring a ton of stuff from 2 different networks, plus paper, into the new system. So right now it just seems like complete chaos to me because there’s all that going on, plus the normal workload, plus I just don’t understand so much of the terminology! But it certainly seems like it’s not going to be boring – there’s just always a lot going on.

It's the evenings that are a bit hard because especially DS12 is always done with stuff around 4:20 to 4:30. Since I get off at 4:30, and it's about a 20 minute drive, either he gets to ride his bike home (which is working here in this bizarre heat wave, but won't in January) or wait. Technically they're not supposed to be in the building unless they're in an activity or "changing". So I guess as the weather gets bad, he can go hang out in the locker room or bathroom and "change" slowly for 20-30 minutes.

It's not a problem usually at the high school because most things there go until 5, plus they don't care if the kids are in the building there (unless they're causing problems) so if my others have stuff, they can just stay in the cafeteria or whatever and do homework. Only problem has been DS14 with his play schedule which is like 4-8pm on some days. He'd like to get home and eat and stuff, but no one can get him back so he brings a lunch (he buys lunch at lunchtime) and eats there and does homework. We're adapting slowly.

It is great having Friday off though, especially since the last two Friday's have been so beautiful. Can you say hammock and lunch outdoors! :yay:

Barb - did I miss the whole of your job story? I feel like I caught some bits and pieces but don't really understand what happened? I'm scrolling through but not finding it. Please (if you haven't), give us all the juicy details! And yeah, it was a beautiful day for a game - 73ish and sunny - can't do much better than that for real season! Oops, wait, I read more posts and found the better summary of the job problems, sorry I'm clueless!

Janet - what are your new cruise ports? What are you doing in them? And yes, the cheeseheads are still around. And yeah, I see DS with his casual "arm around" stuff, while attempting more! Tomorrow's homecoming and - oops, someone forgot to order a corsage so guess who got to call around trying to find what he wanted today? I haven't told him what I ordered yet, and who wants to guess he won't be happy (couldn't find exactly what he wanted).

Gemma - hang in there! Roommates are always lots of fun! I remember some good fights with mine (as well as throwing shoes at them during the night when they wouldn't stop snoring!) Now it's just my husband doing that!

Katie - so what's up with the teeth/pain? Better yet?

Well, I thought this week's CSI was at least better than last weeks. At least there was some actual plot! Anyone else want to go try this restaurant in Vegas? Does something like that actual exist? Sounds like a lot of fun (I love food!). New Degrassi on tonight (only 2 shows I watch in the entire world!).

Got to go get DS15 at soccer, change and feed him quickly and get him back to homecoming game for marching band - catch up more later!

I'm back!!!!!! Don't have time to completely catch up but I wanted to do a little.

Tricia - I wish Carol the very best of luck. I hope she is enjoying herself in PCB (is that Panama City Beach?). Always remember we are here for you.

Penny - I hope you are feeling better real soon and that your results are all good.

Tracie - I will keep your B & SIL in my prayers. I hope they are able to conceive.

Katie - I hope you are feeling better too. Gonna catch up on your trippie tomorrow hopefully.

Gemma - sorry about the roomie troubles. Would love to see some pics of the new dress.

Tracie - Definetly need a video of FBean's tackle dance!!! Too cute!

Janet - what is going on with the cruise ports now? I'm starting to think I don't want to attempt a cruise, seems like you are having a lot of trouble.

Goofy - WELCOME TO THE HOMIES! You have found a great group of people. We started out just chatting and now all these wonderful people seem like family to me. Glad to have you join us.

Jodie - Have a great trip. Tell Mac hi for me too! Can't wait to hear all about your trip.

Barb - Sorry about the work problems. They sound like they are a great bunch of people to work for. I hope you can find something else and get out of there soon.

Todd - Good to hear you and Mac had fun. I will try to get your trippie read this weekend too.

Marcie - Hope the puter gets fixed soon. Matt's GF is a cutie. Wish I could go to a Packers game. Brett sure is getting grey!!!!

Tricia - Glad you got the fever to break. Hope he is still feeling good.

Hi Rose. Hope all is well with your family.

DM when is your sweeite coming in? Bet you just can't wait!!!

Hi to everyone else. I will go back through all the way to page 369!!! to see what I didn't comment on.

Ally had cheer camp this week and is performing at the HS football game tonight. Can someone tell me why they would do this for our biggest football game of the year? It would have already been standing room only, now there will be all the parents of the cheer camp girls there that wouldn't have attended the game. Seems to me they should do it during a game that doesn't get packed.

Oh yeah, and Michael informed me that he will be 16 two weeks from today (like I didn't already know!). Oh the joys of teenage drivers are starting all over again.

Gotta run. Again hope I didn't leave anyone out.

quick check in, busy bees all of you.

i'll have you know my crocs weren't used, they were vintage...hard to find:rotfl2: may motivate to clean out some more space & retail.;)

I'm a croc junkie:rolleyes1 ; the only thing that has prevented long-time steriod injections in my feet.:thumbsup2

tracie - good luck, fertility issues are rough.

hi lori - due to the active/early storm season; all the lines had to scramble. Carnival still hasn't sent out the offical change letter to the people on the Glory out of Port of Canaveral; which means if they are past their final payment date they cannot cancel until they receive it.:confused3 Apparently, the other lines are pulled much of the same bs

unoffically/ie TAs got the info= not changed on web site though. They now are shuttled to Key West (some sailings twice-eek) & Progresso (which i'd luv) in lieu of Costa Maya. I'm that type A planner and pick a cruise for the port offering/excursions.

Weird, they only shuffled the port days around; perhaps to save criss-crossing/diesel? Odd thing is on cruise board I surf, everyone else posts that their's hasn't changed. Guess i'll just not book any excursions for a week or 2 to see if things remain the same.

marci - glad work is working out:laughing: Not too many people can say they were married @ Military Academy - verrry :cool1: . Was invited to my cousin's (by 1st marriage) @ Annapolis. He went on to eventually commander a sub; then many exotic postings working for the government. He met an untimely death on a ski slope, nice guy - very sad.

rose - take it easy; let DH wait on you "foot & hand"...no strings or ious attached;)

tricia - got toilet paper? Kmart has a huge sale...jik:)

metro - looking forward to that TR - speed of light posting!

jodie - we expect the same expediency...shamefully, i finally got my pics over to photobucket.

barb - hope the weekend's better for you.

I'm psyched for my foray to the darkside tomorrow (yeah, it's only Pittsburgh - what can i say lol?) Got the tix @ a discount $18; reg $21. Wonder how the price compares to HHN? Anyone know?
