FYI, I always said up front to mgmt, if they want the money they can have it & all the booze in the joint for all I care.:sad2: not sure where that would fall in the "official" training manual.

Exactlly what I would do too!

i'm sick and i 'm at home.

leave monday

 I hope you feel better by tomorrow and if not tomorrow then as soon as you get there and get relaxed a little. Have a fabulous trip!

It is the first day of Autumn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Happy Autumn! I hope the weather gets cooler here in Oklahoma soon. It was awful hot for Ally's first soccer game yesterday monring. Those poor little girls were about to die!

So, besides watching our teams lose today, what else are we doin'????

Jodie & Katie...wanted to add, I had a fab time last nite ;) .....we'll have to get together again sometime :thumbsup2 Oh, and I told DH about Howdeeee Doodeeee...he was like -----> :lmao: :lmao:

:rotfl2:

Well, I'm just sitting here catching up again. I can't beleived I missed out on the chat last night. Ally was hogging the computer! Maybe we should try scheduling one ahead of time so we can all chat together!

Use it in ways that are strange and mysterious.

Or simple and comical.

Or all of the above.

Or none of the above.

:darth:

Sounds like fun! Can't wait to see the outcome of so of your pics!

Good heavens you people did some posting last night!

I started running a fever yesterday afternoon. It spiked last night at 103.7 and it hasn't been lower than 100.8 even with regular Tylenol. The only other symptom I have is a massive headache centered at the base of my skull. :confused3

I guess if it doesn't stop, I'll be making another friggin trip to the doctor. :headache:

Dang, you are really having a tough time lately. Hope you are felling better.

Are you watching the race?

Yesterday(Saturday), DH brought my van in to be looked at and fixed.
The radiator had to be replaced :scared1: It costed about $900 :scared1:  It really needed to be done b/c it is an older van (103,000 miles on it) and the thermostat on the van was always going to "high" which isn't good. Was doing this all summer, so had to be fixed. Put it on the credit card as usual. Well, at least the cost was under $1,000  :rolleyes1

Have all your backs, went to church last evening.

Well, I don't have tickets to any Hannah Montana concert, but I am going to see Laura Ingraham this coming Wed night for her Power to the People tour. She is going to be at a venue that is 10 min away from me, so I couldn't resist buying a ticket for myself. Anyone that doesn't know Laura Ingraham, she is a conservative radio talk show host. General admission tickets were less than $25.00 per person, that's including fees and tax. DH probably would have like to have gone with me, but we wouldn't be able to find anyone to watch the kids, being a school night. So he'll be home with the kids that night and I will just go by myself. It should be fun tho!
Like to see when I get there, If I'll recognize anyone from my church there or anyone from my community.

Sorry about the car. $900!:scared1:

Have fun at your show Wednesday night! A night out alone can be good for you!

good sunday, another couple hours in church today; home just in time for my steelers:banana: we're kickin butt!:thumbsup2

barb - thanx for the info, bizarre imo...everyone's sue happy. Poor saps who don't know when to say "no"; need babysat.:headache: It always scared me thinking of those who were flying high from either Rxs or contraband; then topping it off with booze. Know the younger generation (my older 2 DSs) do use a designated driver or chip in & hire a limo for big nights.

back to the game, trying to get DH to hang a new doorkknocker in between commercials - not going well. Think i'll leave the existing one on my vintage, curved top/leaded stained glass door and just mount it outside the house where the doorbell (broken;) ) should go.

bbl

Good luck to your Steelers.

It's really sad how sue happy people are these days. Especially for rediculous things.

But then there are legitimate ones, our state fair is going on right now and a lady got trampled by a Clydesdale yesterday. These horses just happen to be owned by one of Oklahoma's biggest business owners. Looks like she will be getting a pretty big settlement. Hope she will heal from all her injuries.

Hey Lori :wave2:

Eagles r kickin' butt too  More touchdowns in the first quarter than last two games together! :rotfl2:

Was reading about Southwests new boarding policy.... think I likes it :thumbsup2

Back to the game.....l8rs......

Tricia I don't know if you saw this in the midst of all my posts the other day. It is so important I wanted to make sure you did.

Here is a book that would be great for your sister; http://www.amazon.com/Beating-Cancer...0394593&sr=8-1. The author was the Director of Treatment at the Cancer Centers of America.

One very important thing is that she should completely eleminate sugar from her diet. Cancer cells feed on sugar.

Very important information that many doctors don't bother to tell their cancer patients. I am praying for a miracle for your sister.

Good luck to your Eagles too Barb! I miss havng a pro team to root for. At least I have my Nascar to watch and my Sooners to cheer on!

Well here I go hogging the thread again. Sometimes I feel like I'm talking to myself!:rotfl: :rotfl:

Traicia - Did you see Kyle Petty's comments about Hamlin???? I totally agree that the Cup drivers need to lay off the Busch races. How can they possilbe think they can be at the top of their game after racing the day before?

Lori,
You can still root for the Raiders...cantcha?

By the way, Disney on Travel Channel today.... don't see Uni tho :sad2:

That's okay....I like watchin Disney too :thumbsup2

btw...Eagles won! (yep, still in shock!)

Not in the mood for dinner.....maybe we'll have cookies :scratchin

I hate spiders! And I hate the feeling that I have something crawling on me. But are you having these problems all the time?

Like the new philosophy!

You are right about American cars. All of ours are big & I am so sick of big vehicles. It takes forever topark them!

Yes it happens all the time and it's so annoying! Ive hullicinated that people are in my room and I sit up all night talking to them- I lose so much sleep and its so annoying! Last night I thought I needed to use the phone and someone 'in my room' wouldn't let me use theirs- rude! lol. Ive also pulled my curtains down in my room, thought I had to throw my duvet out the window, thought I was Harry Potter and Voldemort was going to kill me (that one was really scary because I was actually convinced that I was going to die very soon and it's the worst feeling I've ever felt), thought I was in the middle of a war and ran around the house screaming 'FIRE!!', thought a computer was going to fall on my head and many many more. Thank god for my mum being a light sleeper. She tells me it's not real and at the time Im so convinced that it is real so I scream and swear at her because she doesn't believe me but mummsie knows it's not 'me'

Yes but the americans have the best cars aswell! My parents just bought my new BMW jeep for my mum, so can't wait to see that when I get home. She deserves a new car- she works hard. :cutie:

Yeh baby Im sober!! Out tomorrow night though because I'm off uni on Tuesday...that should be fun. I should start sharing my drunken photos with you guys- not that you would appreciate it after you have seen them. haha

are you kiddin'??? We'd LOVE to see yer pix..... don't you know us at all :rolleyes1

Ill upload some ASAP. Ohhh totally forgot to mention- guess who I met? Quentin Tarentino!!! How cool is that!? Or maybe I did mention that....hmmmmm I can't remember

THAT is cool :thumbsup2 How'd you meet him????

....and were you sober? :rolleyes1

I am upright for the moment. I've spent most of the day in bed letting Brad deal with everything. I know I've got to start doing it all tomorrow, so I'm hoping maybe some rest will take care of it. Still running a fever. Still no other symptoms other than the headache. If only I knew what the heck was causing it, then I'd have some idea what to do.

I've read all the posts and I apologize profusely (woop, catch my big word for the day) for not addressing everyone individually.

Anybody watch the movie Valley Girl? Remember that scene where Nicolas Cage is drunk and sick outside the club. He looks at his buddy and says, "I'm dying man. Hand me that brick so I can finish it."

I'm not quite there yet, but I do keep picturing that scene for SOME reason.

He was just shopping in Liverpool. He had a premier here in a cinema called FACT and the next day he was out on his own. I was so shocked!! He had about 10 people round him when I walked saw him, I got a photo but a girl walked infront on the camera!! boo.

Oh, and on the sports front... the Falcons are not stinking up the field at the moment... and Mark Martin is running in the top 5 of the race in Dover. I know he's not in the Chase and blah, blah, blah... but I would LOVE to see him win another race before he retires.

So, a good day on the sports page for me so far.

And, Gemma, that is SO cool! Pulp Fiction is one of my favorite movies. I probably have a list of 200 favorite movies, but that is definitely one of them.

Anybody watch the movie Valley Girl?

:lmao: SEE that movie?? :lmao: Heck, we OWN that movie :rolleyes1 ...Glad you are at least upright...have no idea what the deal is and why meds aren't takin' yer headache away. If it is still here tomorrow, call doctor.

Gemma...how cool! Never fails, you line up a great shot, and some bunghole walks right into it  Oh well, least you got to see him!

Ok, some pictures-I hope they work.

Me and my best mate Emma
Picture048.jpg

Me lying down (my legs hurt haha) with my friend Faye. Yes my dress matches the wallpaper- funny coincidence.
Picture088.jpg

Craig and I
UniPictures112.jpg

Chris, Me and Lee- and yes, Lee was the twat who left me outside on my own the other night!
UniPictures378.jpg

Yes, some of these are awful but I haven't showed you the worst- no-where near as bad!! Wait until I get my own internet- then you will be shocked. lol

Nice pix...but who are they? You need to label who is who...one of the guys isn't the idiot who walked you outside and left you....is he?

Gemma - Looks like you were having fun!
And the one with you laying down... How did you find a dress that matched the wallpaper? Or did they decorate the club to match you?

Enjoy these days. If I were to go out and get drunk and foolish like I used to, people would just think what a sad old woman I am.
