Hello all

Been really busy here all week . DS was sick . I have huge weekend planned . DD had a bowling thing all day Saturday .. WIsh us luck . Sunday is my B-day so we are going out . Both DD's are now going to the same school this Sept. all enrolled I am kind of sad to see the middle one go off to High School soon .

Work has been calling .. which is a good thing for the money but bad for the and cleaning . I am hooked on Facebook and now this new site called Fan Fic . It is writing done by fans for their fav books and such . I have read soem good stuff there . NOT for the faint of heart though rated M for mature .. . I am hooked though . Need to get a life away from the computer LOL

Hope all the homies are well . I really need to come back and chat with everyone .

We have many times this winter! Pretty much any time it breaks 30 degrees or so. But we just keep ours in the garage, and wheel it out in the driveway whenever we use it.

if you don't like to heat up your kitchen during a hot summer, use the grill to bake the pizza.
can only do it if your grill has a hood.

TGIF!! Finnaly a weekend that I got nothing to do!!Other then clean the gutters,mow the grass(leaves),mend the fence were a limb fell on it,cut the limb up,clean the garage,change the oil in my truck,give the dog a bath,do laundry,start tilling my garden,do all the cooking cause DW works all weekend long.....STOP!!


You know what I might just sleep in tommorrow!!!

Mine isn't that bad but did look outside today cause I haven't been outside since I have been sick other than to take DW to work and noticed trash all in the back yard and pieces of broken shingles everywhere from when we had a good wind storm a couple of weeks ago.
Some from our roof and who knows where the others came from but anywho good evening homies

Hey Lawrence thats the short list!!
Keep a eye on that roof,if your missing shingles.Its a rolling snowball effect.Catch it early before it rots the plywood.That will be a major headache then. You should be able to claim it on homeowner insurance..

Yeah I know and we were going to put a claim in on it to the insurance company but MIL actually owns the house and we all live together in it but thats another story and But it has a $1000.00 deductable on it and she doesn't want to pay it

My dad had a roofing buisness for 40 years-glad I didnt go down that road.I spent many weekends on roofs.The majority of his buisness was reroofs.The longer you wait the more it cost!!
If its only a couple of shingles then you can do that yourself,its pretty easy..
Take a good look at it.If the shingles are curling on the edges,that grand deduct will be cheaper then 4 or 5k down the road trust me!!
It probally cost more in KY then in FL..

I hear ya homie.Worse case just grab a bucket of plastic roofing cement and patch any exposed area that might leak.Make sure you use roofing mesh with it or it will crack within a week of applying..
It will bye some time and cost under $20!!

Maybe what I will do
We haven't had a good rain yet to tell if its going to leak but we will find out sunday cause we have rain in the forecast

On another note.Looking thru some of the recent threads and post.There is alot of hostile posts starting.
Kinda new this would happen with the ticket giveaway..This is only the beginning Im afraid..
Some peeps are just way to uptight,they need to lighten up!!
