skool's out here, 2 inches of ice on toppa a foot or so of snow...jr (who still has a bad cold) volunteered to go forth & shovel before it switches back over to another round of snow...he is a keeper

We're on day 11 without snow. Do you think I could get a counter saying that? Some kind of big snowman and counting down (or up!) days since the last snowfall? Yeah, maybe if I had any room in my sig anyways! I'll just count for you guys! (And of course realize I'm tempting fate by doing so!).

Oh, and funny story for you guys. I was just doing the laundry and as I took it out of the dryer, a folded up bill fell out. Yeah, I know - frequent occurrence since I'm not big on checking people's pockets. Well, I look at it more closely and it's not an American bill. Nope, it's a Riyal from Saudi Arabia!

So I'm a bit confused before I figure it out. Yesterday was "Army Day" at the high school, so anyone who wanted could dress up to support the Army. Of course Matt told me this at 7am, so it was all kinds of fun climbing into the attic at that point, with the temps in the -20 range. I dug out an old Army PT t-shirt, and a pair of DCU's (Desert Camouflage Uniform - the uniform we wore in Saudi Arabia). Evidently the last time I wore mine (back in 1991), I left a Riyal in my pocket! Would have been even cooler if Matt had found it in his pocket during the day yesterday!

Anyways, he said most people thought his uniform was cool, but he had several people say "Hey, look, it's GI Joe!"

We got the ice from Janet's system, but only about 4 inches before the ice hit--I should've went out at 6 when I was up with the dogs to shovel the slush. By the time I got out there it refroze a little and it was hard shoveling..now it's snowing again...


My little puffball sheltie took off this morning hit the ice and went flying. Hysterical, then every step he'd fly again. I know, I know cruelty to animals, but it was hysterical.

Been really crazy here between everyone with the sickies and work I have been swamped.

I have been asked to do some extra work for the school and the money is good so I took it on . NEVER do extra work for anyone .... The pay is not that good. Lesson learned .

Snow with rain and yuckiness today so the schools were crazy too many subs some classes full some with 15 out of 25 . Nutty all around.
I am off from work all day on Thursday and Friday so I will have to try to catch up soon.

Hope everyone is well ...Miss my homies but like magic I shall return .

Well today was rotten. Hayden got sick last night with 104 Fever. Garrison was starting to get sick during school but he couldnt leave cause he had track. And now I'm getting just as sick as them.

Only thing that makes me feel better right now is watching previous LOST episodes and getting ready to watch the new one tonight

I do want to thank everyone that wished me a happy B-Day.Im sorry I didnt say this before..The past week has been pretty much kaos for me..Thank you all!!

Alittle update on the car wreck,the lizzard came thru(Geico)there handling it all..

Now if my DD would wake up before noon,she might find a %$@! job!!Sorry,doing it again..

Im going to put The Dark Night in the DVD player and watch it again..
I never watch a movie more then once unless I really like it and this is one of the best movie I seen in along time!!

What a night.

Im shattered.

My football team (Celtic) were playing in the cup semi-final tonight.

Because Ive been ill i could not go ( Ive missed the last 4 weeks and im tearing my hair out) but it was on tv.

It finished 0 - 0 after extra time and we finally won 11 - 10 on penalties !!

I swear I thought i was gonnae have a heart attack !!

Now we play Rangers ( boooooo) our biggest and most hated rivals in the final....got to get fit for that one !!

In case anyone wonders where we're located - were just outside Edmonton

So, if I go outside and blow really really hard, will it go away? My car was a literal ice cube this morning. I almost couldn't get my key into the door!! No problem on the highway getting to work. But the parking lot in the strip mall my store is located was complete ice. Luckily I got parked ok, albeit a little crooked. I only had one customer all day long (tax refund check). Speaking of which, my refund was direct deposited into my account today! But I have to use it to buy a wheel for my car. But mom said I could spend $100 for myself.
