Hey youse.....

I got my ornament today !!

There was a delivery notice through my door on friday for it but they lost it between my house and the post office !! :confused3

After many phone calls and help from a very nice lady at the post office they tracked it down today.

I LOVE it....thank you so much !!

But it looks like the one i sent is the only one not to arrive.

To the unlucky poster who drew the short straw all I can say is sorry....really sorry !! :sad1:
It was posted on the 9th but as I have found out myself The Great British Mail is anything but Great.

I am soooo upset about this because I was so excited to receive an ornament from the states and even more excited to send one.

If it does not arrive I will send another.

Sorry again.

tricia - did u ask santa for a pair of safety glasses for Xmas?

With as many shooting toys as we have in this house, I probably should.

Okay, folks. I need generic gift ideas for a 21 year old male that I've never met. Anyone?

Good evening all!!

Stayed on the river all day long and no bites!!But did run into the local Game Warding..We had a long disccusion about drinking beer and driving a boat..NO TICKETS or what we call BUI(I only had a six pack in the cooler and drank two before he came up)..All was good:thumbsup2 But I got a story too tell YA'LL--I'll BBL to finish..

It appears that if you mail something from Ontario, Canada on the 6th of December someone in the States still won't get it by Christmas:confused:

Scotlass my ornament has not been recieved either.

I thought it should be there by now!!!:headache:

It is snowing and blowing here like crazy...but tomorrow it is supposed to be +3 and rain??:confused3

Hello all ,

Busy day here I actually had to work today :teacher: . It wasn't as bad as it sounds but boy am I tired now and I have SOOOOOO much to do still .
We had a sad :sad2: evening last night a very dear friend has lost her mother. It was not sudden but still very hard at this time of year.

Wanted to say Hi to the Homies I don't know how much computer time I will get the next two days . I will let you know if my ornament comes I am really also hopeful that my Twilight shirt comes too .

Need to finish up some things and get to bed early it is a LONG two days ahead. :santa: Is almost here  .

Hey youse....

Only 2 more sleeps till SANTA !!

Evening...I'm heading off to bed. I hope everyone has a great night! :)

So sorry to hear the news  Prayers and thoughts to your friend and the family.

Hi all-
Been busy today, busy as an elf. Did some :laundy: , packed up the kids clothes, as they are staying w/ my parents tonight. Making the concoction DH is drinking, for his colonscopy tomorrow morning.
Will not be here much tomorrow, I don't think.

Church service was really good last night :thumbsup2

Icebreaker question. What are your favorite Christmas/ holiday songs?

I like "O Holy Night", "Christmas Waltz" (Michael W. Smith and Sandi Patty version) :thumbsup2 ,"Emmanuel"(Michael W. Smith version), "Rejoice" Darlene Zschech- Hillsongs Australia(disco beat to it), "Grown Up Christmas List", "Rockin Around the Christmas Tree" Brenda Lee version. "Marshmallow World" Brenda Lee, "The Young Messiah"- album- various christian artists.
Added on: "Christmas is all in the Heart"- Steven Curtis Chapman.

OK, have a good eve before Christmas eve everyone :)

upon reflection, probably the reason they're 'carding' for the BD celebrations too:laughing: im out of the loop...just haven't had the desire to wade thru all the muck until i have a firm vacation date(s) for next year...too depressing to just spin my wheels

psst...ask the family for disney giftcards to help pay for ur trip;)

I'm cool witht he no banner at Coral Reef thing. Honestly, I'd feel like an attention hog. And it wouldn't be very surprising since I'd have to plan it myself! And I'd rather have money since I need work done on my car....again. But if worse comes to worse, I should be able to save for both my car and my trip. The DDP is a good idea if you don't want to worry too much about not having food money. Just enough for the tip. Oh, and if you haven't heard, ADR's have switched back to 90 days!!

It looks as tho I will be going outside shortly to shovel...AGAIN!!! So my DH can get out of the driveway and go to work and have his "company lunch" while I get ready for the BIG day tomorrrow :santa:

Hopefully I will be back later before we go to the IL for Christamas Eve!!!!:upsidedow

Morning Homies!!!!

Been awhile since I have been able to check in with you all.....trying to ketchup as best as I possibly can. I did notice Donald got laid off - I am so sorry to hear that - but I still want to commend you and Dave and any of our other nurses/medics/doctors out there.....its a hard job! Good Luck with the schooling and finish your BUI story!!

Freezing rain again here today. I am with Barb on the "Come on now! Either rain or snow will ya??"

Macadamia the great - good luck with the pt. Hope you are feeling much better VERY soon.

To those with trips coming up soon (minniejack and macadamia?) Have a blast!! We would love to see a trip report and some pictures

Lawrence - hope the tooth is feeling better really, really soon!

mac - done that shopping yet?? today is your day!! :woohoo:

METRO - and where are the pics of your orange tree :rolleyes1 You are a smart, smart man - this weather stinks!! Can't wait to see the fun new siggie/avatar.

Empress - how did cooking the bird come out? Turkey is always good to have in the fridge. Ham doesn't last very long in this house  the kids eat it for breakfast, lunch and dinner!!

Tricia - got it. Lesson learned by proxie. You really CAN shoot your eye out (yay - starts at 8PM tonight for 24 hours:woohoo: :yay: :woohoo: )

All the presents are bought. Just need 2 Game Stop Gift Cards for my nephews. 99.999% wrapped.

Today is cleaning day and baking some cookies. We go to the IL's tonight for dinner and then tomorrow is my Mom's house around noonish. This will be the first time I have seen my little bro and SIL since they have gotten pg (went from triplets to twins and sadly they found on the 15th that they are down to a singleton - its a boy)

My little man is practicallly jumping out of his skin he is so excited for Santa :santa: . Thinking this will probably be his last year of believing, so I am just going to go with it.......he is going to be PISSED when he learns the truth. But we go with the "Spirit of Santa" once they learn there really isn't a fat guy in a red suit leaving all the presents for them.

I must apologize for not addressing everyone - just know that I have read it all and my Mommy brain is fried at 8:24AM EST :rotfl2: Must have more coffee - forget this half caff stuff, I need the real deal!!!:lmao:

I sincerely hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and enjoy the magic of the holiday season with your loved ones!!

Try to bbl
