Just got back awhile ago from church and it was like a movie star showed up at church! Kate Gosselin from "Jon and Kate Plus 8" spoke tonight. I would say about 1/2 to 3/4 of the peeps showed up were not from our church. Our church was very overcrowded. All 7400 of our auditorium seats were filled up and then some few hundred more of our old auditorium seats were filled!! I guess everyone and their mothers showed up. I had no idea this woman has some kind of cult following- seriously! DH said it was like Angelina Jolie showed up with the paperazzi The first 15 min she was being interviewed, a ton of cameras were flashing. Just crazy
Well at least we got seats in our mezzanine section. They really dolled her up-her hair and make-up. It was a good interview overall.
I would have thought the McCaughley septuplet family or the Duggar family were the popular ones, I guess not around my area.

Garrison got in trouble with the law last night . He makes some of the dumbest decisions sometimes, but luckily with me being a former cop, he got out of it(Cause the cop was my ex-partner).

Garrison also ran onto the soccer field last night during the highschool game to go congratulate his buddy for scoring the game winner. It was hilarious and kinda humble of him to do that I think.....but the coach didn't think so

sounds like Garrison is on a roll , just being a kid - mistakes r how they learn

Well...I filed my taxes today...I'm a little disappointed but I'll still be able to renew my passes to Universal and Disney this year.

The wife and I have been dealing with the stupid flu since Thursday midday. My son has been dealing with severe alergies for about 3 weeks so to say the least we are all messed up. We are just hoping with the medications that we will be ok to leave Friday morning to Orlando. Believe it or not I have never had the flu and it sucks.

Pittsburgh was nuts today. One of the cashiers asked my hubby who he thought was going to win didn't expect my DH to answer with it all depended on what team shows up

You know these teams could really make even more money if they showed the game in the home stadiums on big screens and charge to enter the stadium--wouldn't that be one big party.

I went an MD Now urgent care this am due to waking up with my throat being so sore I could hardly swallow. Good thing I went since they say I have either strep or a bad infection, so the gave me medicine for it. They said my physician should have gave me something yesterday along with Tamiflu. Well the good new is the wife is doing better and my son says hes fine, but thats the answer all the time. Hope everyone enjoys the game and commercials tonight.

BTW: I'm cheering for Arizona, not my team but someone to cheer for.

i'm glad you went today and starting on meds.

you should be feeling better once you are on the meds for 48 hours.
by the time you leave friday for our vacation, you should be feeling so much better.

We're sitting in the middle of about 450 Steeler maniacs in church this morning (we live 45 mins from the Burgh) and the preacher wants to know who all are Arizona fans. My DH and about 5 people raise their hands--I thought we were gonna get booed out...

Ever since then he's been trying to switch our kids into rooting for Arizona. His reasons:

1. They've never won a bowl game--you have to root for them--they're the underdog.

2. I hate the Steelers

3. Pat Tilman (sp?) was an Arizona player.

He's saying this while trying to find all of his Steelers junk. and while wearing red.

Me--I really don't care--I'm just there for the commercials. I only like college ball. The only professional team I ever liked was the Dolphins because of their purty colors.

Well, gotta run heading back to church for a Bowl party
