Saw "My Bloody Valentine" in 3-D today. Pretty good! A lot more gorey than I thought it was gonna be. And the 3-D was very well done.

Some of you may remember me, some may not even know me...
I am sorry I have not been on the boards for a while. I have been in the hospital for a while. As you may know, I am a fireman in Indiana and went into a fully engulfed house fire to save 2 children. My partner and I managed to get them out and I ensured that he and the children made it out safely. Unfortunately, I was the last one out and the roof collapsed on me. So besides the burns, I do have some broken bones, etc. I am doing fine, now and there is no way to "catch" up on this board (which I use to check religously). So I wanted to do two things:
1) Say hello to everyone that knows or doesn't know or even remember me.
2) (and this is the most important one).....watch the movie

FIREPROOF

I watched it with my family last night and there was not a dry eye during and after the movie. I don't know if anything has been on the boards about the movie (sorry if I missed it)...but it hit home with me so much I bought the book and movie....

I hope everyone enjoys the Super Bowl and I am sorry that I may have interrupted the conversation.

What a game! Dh ended up rooting for Arizona and the boy for Pitt. It got pretty ugly here when Arizona came back. In the end, Pitt pulled it off and my boy can now go to bed happy...albeit an hour and a half after his bedtime!

A little late on this discussion, but I usually use Axe Klix, I like that one, but I change from time to time. Less is definitely more with Axe, my son needs to learn that as well

Yes, Kirk Cameron....He portrays a fireman, so obviously it hit home with me. It just came out on DVD..Still thinking of the trip....have a reservation for the 4/3 deal going in March 22-March 28...driving most likely...can't find a good price on a flight

Thanks everyone for the well wishes and PMs...I am home and recovering....I should be back to work in 2 weeks...so I am doing some of this and now I will be on the boards more by doing this .
