i do hope you are doing better. take each day as it comes, you will be fine.

coastermom, the term "manic depressive" is no longer used. that phrase went out the door over 15 years ago. it is referred as bi polar.

it is possible the meds she has been on are not effective. some people bottom out on their meds after a time period and have to do more drug trials.
sounds like she is self medicating by the drinking. that is not uncommon.
talk to her doctor for her to get help medically.

HI homies-
Slept in a little this morning, as I knew no school today.
DH's car wouldn't start this AM. Had to help him push the car a few feet out of the way so we can get the van out of garage(we have a 1 car garage) Pushed the car back to where it was before, couldn't get it pushed into hte garage. DH took van to work. I'm home w/ the kids today.

Good morning homies
The starting of a long day cause already took Dw to work cause she has to go in due to school being out ( not for snow but for temp being 10 below )
her boss is out due to personal problems and other coworker out cause she said her stomach was hurting still from yesterday which mean Dw had to work three hours over yesterday and has to be there by herself today and clean the whole building by herself and not to mention she has hurt her knee and is now limping around.
Poor little lady works so hard
Can't wait to take her to Universal in june cause I think she has earned it

she must be a real trooper to go to work feeling lousy.
with the hurt knee, that has to hurt a lot.

sending mummy dust to her.......
be a sweetheart today and have dinner ready for her when she gets home from work............she'll love it.

They used to do a haunted mine thing, creepy stuff...scary to me anyway, im rather claustraphobic...have no idea how my Dad & grandparents could handle working like that for so many years...my heros

From my nephew. My niece doesn't like to give me hugs. But she's 2, so she'll grow out of it. I'm going to see an exhibit on King Tut at the Dallas Art Museum on Sunday, so that will be fun. And only 5 more days till Repo comes out on DVD. I suggest all you horror buffs check it out. Its awesome. Its direct by Darren Lynn Bousman, director of Saws 2-4. And stars Anthony Stewart Head from Buffy.

Are you a Buffy fan? I have a t-shirt with a music staff and colored notes that says, "There's nothing we can't face, except for bunnies." I also have a t-shirt with Betty Boop on it holding a stake in her hand with a vampire leaning over her shoulder. The caption says Betty the Vampire Slayer. If it's not too ragged by October, I'll wear it to HHN.

Your poor wife! I hope her knee heals okay. I tore my meniscus and chipped the kneecap when I was a teenager. My knees always ache when the weather changes, so I wince everytime I hear about someone else's sore knees. I hope everyone feels better soon and she gets more help from her co-workers.

Woo-Hoo! Way to end the day. Vacation ended too soon, Sigh....


I'll get going on my TR after Sunday. We've had a big political mess in my rescue group that will never be resolved with the current Board of Directors, so I finally resigned last night. I wrote and rewrote my letter of resignation many times trying to make my points without sounding mean or snippy. It will be seen that way anyway by certain BoD members who see EVERY concern as a personal attack, no matter how calmly, logically, practically, and factually it is presented. So now I'm behind on everything and have less time to get my Sunday School lesson done. Sorry, the TR has to wait a bit. I'll see if I can at least upload pics to photobucket while I'm cutting and pasting my lesson outline.


It's been very cold for this area, too, but nothing like you northerners are living with! BRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was 9 degrees when we got up this morning. NINE. No number before or after it. Just nine all by itself. NINE.

Our high today was 30. Woo friggin hoo. It is supposed to be as cold, if not colder, tonight... but warming up some tomorrow.

I don't own clothing designed for these temps. They say layers keep you warm. I'm thinking of wearing all of my clothes.

The Mardi Gras line up is not bad.But for us Floridians there is another place that has great concerts.Its not as glitzy or have rides or anything,but its not that far of a drive from Orlando..
Its called Silver Springs in Ocala..
