Something About Nothing..........#6

Hey guys...we are getting the second cold front today and tonight. You can really tell the temps are dropping. It was 81 degrees on Monday and now it's in the low 60's. The HIGH on Friday is supposed to be in the upper 50's!

They only want it in the teens here on Friday, with a possible wind chill of 10 below. Maybe the Canadians like Bonnie & Lee are used to that, but that's darn cold here in Southeastern PA.........

I know I've been gone for a while. I picked up Lego Star Wars (full edition) for the PS3. Fun game is fun.

And I leave tomorrow for a trip to Las Vegas! There will be pics and TR.

Good morning everyone, getting ready for the coldest air in central Florida in a year, maybe upper 20s for a low.I know its lots colder where some of you are at but 10 days ago it was in the lower 80s so it will be a huge shock

AMEN to that!!!! Its going to be down right cold!!!

Donald - Good Luck today!!

Bonnie - Those are great pics from a cell. I would love for it to snow....just once....and then melt before I HAD to shovel.

Morning Homies!!! It's HUMP DAY!!

Been busy and very active in taking care of myself for a change. I had an eye doctor appointment on Monday. The pressure in my eyes for the Glaucoma test was on the high end of normal, and when he dialated my pupils, the optic nerve looked suspect as well. Have a field vision test next Thursday. My glasses should be in by then as well. I should have been wearing glasses all these years (lost my last pair in Disney in 2004ish) but have not made the time to just do it.

Got my older daughter's registration packet for HS :guilty: I can't believe it - where has the time gone???

Hope everyone is doing well and staying warm (or cool); I will check in with you all later!!!

my back is turned, twist the knife one more time.......:goodvibes

chgo is experiencing the coldest winter in the past 10 years now.
can you say -35 w/windchill for tonight.....it is not too bad now. it's 7 degrees with a wind chill of -9 outside.

but you know the old saying about this area, we only have 2 seasons: winter and the 4th of July.

you are a very very very smart person to get out of chgo and move south..

i thought you just did it the other day again........

and as tracie said, a good hump day to all the homies out there.
morning all !

Mac.. I have TWO teenaged girls and a 7 year old son. I do more :laundy: than anyone I know. I do at least two loads when I am home. My DD who is in catholic school has only so many uniforms and well God Forbid we wear it more than once without mom cleaning it .

Now my DS is home sick he got Ill in class  so i just got him from the school . OH FUN :upsidedow

hope your little gets well soon.

i had 3 teen boys in the house at one time.

i taught them to do the laundry........;)

with each taking gym class at school and only 2 changes each, someone had to do the laundry daily. and i had one that would change clothes twice a day.
that might not be a bad thing but he didn't have many clothes to start off with.

i worked and had to designate the chores out in order for things to go smoothly.

it was -2 degrees when i woke up this am, not factoring in wind chill.

hmm...bonny, marci, mac....did one of u forget to close the door? keep that arctic air please!

if i hear one more weather report on the tube where it's referenced that FL is 85 degrees warmer than it is here, im going to scream:headache:

marci - did ur boys make it back from CO yet?

donald - so stressful for u, sorry - break a leg

I really can't wait 'til my new specs come in...I thought that said that the ugly cat looks like your sister...I'm thinkin...Whoa...what an ugly sister!

can't argue with that, i got all the looks in the family:snooty:  course there wasn't much to go around in the 1st place

it's a hairless cat.

my sis doesn't have much hair, or brains

I know I've been gone for a while. I picked up Lego Star Wars (full edition) for the PS3. Fun game is fun.

i've played that on PS3, something about seeing the legos in charactar slays me

ps have a ball in vegas:banana: hope u hit the big one on the slots (21 game & phantasm have been kind to me in the past;) not big, enough to go home with more gambling $ than i brought...a weiner indeed)

that is a long time to go without glasses missy! glad ur addressing this

DH & I have both had high pressure for years, we go every 6 months for the full drill...i just know it'll work out for you:hug: . Did they map ur eye yet, if not probably will after vision field.

im on 'couch rest'popcorn:: had a procedure done @ foot dr yesterday, supposed to be feeling better by monday...least it gets me out of shoveling the snow that's on it's way

keisha, hope you are recovering smoothly from your surgery.

use your good foot to kick people's butts when you have the urge.

i guess this means you are off of snow shoveling duty for awhile.
you get all the breaks....

im more of a salt person when it comes to shoveling....buy huge bags @ SAMs - im set

didn't have 3 boys for nothing:laughing: ...as in shovel the snow or u won't get nothing (to eat, allowance, etc)

i am liking the idea of a good swift kick though:idea:

i remember when kids used to come to the house & ask to shovel snow for $20...cannot remember the last time anybody has come atrolling:confused3

ouch - hoping the foot will feel better soon......well, you can SAY it still hurts - milk it for all its worth!!! :lmao:

Tracie - Good luck with the eye appointment.

Janet - Hope your foot is all better soon.

Howdy everyone!

Afternoon all ... Happy Wednesday ...

Sorry to hear it's going to be so cold in Florida ... I'd love to have those temps up here - for us that's a warm Winter's day

Snowing here again today ... like we need any more snow :lmao:

son shoveled the drive and i went to kmart for the cat food......

by the time i came back home 2 hours later, the wind blew the drifts in the driveway and i had to shovel.

i don't mind the shoveling as long as i can still feel my fingers.....

i'm done going out for the day.
unless we run out of milk.....:rolleyes1

anyone watch AI last night?
it's on again tonight.

i can't believe some of the contestants really believe they can sing.....
