Hey homies see Ya in the morning..We are watchting The Year Without Christmas on TV..

Have not seen this in years!

Thank you Metro,I love this old stuff!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just got home from my DS15 :charac2: Christmas spectacular--the word concert just doesn't even cover the talent these kids have. Over 400 students in orchestra, band, steel drums, jazz band chorus, rock band...just incredible.

There was this one little violinist guy that I had seen last week at her youth orchestra concert that I labeled "geek" in my mind. Well, tonight....he literally rocked the house with a Mannheim Steam Roller electric guitar solo....so cool....

Now I'm in the Christmas spirit.

i'm locking up the joint now. time to catch some zzzzzzzz's

don't want to hear a peep out of youse now.

time for bed.

all green lights out......!

Glad I found the key. Still haven't been to bed yet.

Jonathan would thank you all for the birthday wishes if he were old enough to care about birthdays. So I thank you for him! He loved his brownies (he hates cake) and his Hulk car so much we decided to save his other B-day presents for Christmas. I guess I'd better get a few more for Jared so he's not jealous....

Jared has TOO much fun with fire lately. He's gotten in trouble numerous times for messing with the gas fireplace. He lit a fire in the yard with no supervision last week. We took the birthday candles away from him because we knew he'd set the house on fire. So he melted a plastic spoon on the burner of the stove for fun instead. It runs in the family. DH and I were pyros as kids, too.

Well, off to check Jared blood sugar, and then to bed. For as long as the kids will let me sleep. Thanks for all the yawning smilies!!!!!!!!!!!! I need to get a room set up over here, now that we've had tutorial on how to do it!

that's right, it IS friday.
i get my days of the week mixed up some mornings....:rolleyes1

how long was your weather horrid yesterday?

man, i didn't plan on getting up this early this morning.
Mr Mac did not feed the cat and she howled until i got up to feed her.
he left at 5:45 and as soon as the front door closed, i swear, that cat was screaming for food.

now that she is asleep and i started on the coffee, i'm awake.

It will be on a local station Christmas day--I even asked about a cd of it cause there was an ice storm last night and my mom couldn't go along with a lot of others--obviously the people in charge never had kids in dance competitions--they're missing an easy money maker--guess who is going to open up their mouths at the next strings meeting:confused:

Tinker-tude be careful of the pyros--my next door neighbor's mom used to work in a plastic surgeons office and she told me that boys between the ages of 8-18 are the ones seen the most for burns--she told me this cause my and hers are the exact same.

This summer I was letting my DS13 burn papers in our fire "pit"(a large area where we dumped dirt and were too lazy to finish so we're now having fun with it). Two boys, one is a boy scout, one parent not really paying attention. Anyhow...the next day I found empty WD40 cans along with numerous other items that were too scary to remember where they had tried to spray then catch on fire...makes me sick to think what could've happened:scared1: Stupid boy...:scared:

I was the stupid parent who opened up her mouth at another meeting and suggested selling cheese from the Sugarcreek Ohio area as a fundraiser--a block of cheese for $5--easy money--we get half the profit

Today I was supposed to go pick up said cheese and we had a two-hour delay because of icy roads--Aargh--now the person who was to go with me can't go until Wed--and break starts Friday...

I think I'll just go by myself or drag my mom for company in the car--it's about 1 hr and 20 mins--and I can only tell myself so much when I'm alone in the car...

Don't you love this early icy cold weather--Al Gore where are you--is it warm enough for you?

Got a new car last week and it came with the freebie trial XM--got it set to Orlando traffic and weather--just gettin' in the mood...

I received my ornament !

I mailed my gift off last Saturday so my buddy should have it soon !

Howdy all!

Just a quick "hi" for Friday. Heading off to the Great Wolf Lodge today! We told the kiddies on Wednesday evening. I believe we might be responsible for calling some pods of dolphins up onto the Jersey Shore. The squealing that ensued after our scavenger hunt for clues to our weekend getaway was definitely only audible to the dolphins!!

It was super exciting and we're all looking forward to it!

However, we leave at 3pm and yes, I haven't packed anything yet....
So, off to the suitcases!!

Have a great weekend!!!

Hi Homies-
Was so tired this morning. I think I'm trying to fight off some bug. I took a nap and I feel better now :) Went to the library to drop off and pick up dvds, DS game, stuff for the kids. Seems to be a weekly thing, as Blockbuster tends to be too expensive to do on a weekly basis.

DH's work is moving to a different suite today, same building, different suite. Been chaotic this week for him. Tho right now, him and co-workers are party hardy, their annual holiday party at a steak house :santa: Spouses are not invited  Same thing last yr, spouses weren't invited. I was thinking about making a visit at their luncheon party, but it is a little far away, I wouldn't be back in time to get the kids off the bus. Well, I told DH maybe the coworkers can get his boss drunk and then DH can ask for a raise!! DH's yearly review is next month ;)
I doubt that would happen(asking for a raise, not the drunk part). Well, it was a thought ;) Tho DH already told me everyone in the company(only 12 or 13 employees) are going to get a bonus! Yea! God is good! :goodvibes

I remember DH's old job, they threw a dinner/ dance party at a nice banquet hall. Spouses were definitely invited. Those parties were fun! It was a nice date night for us.

Hi to all

It is very cold here in the frozen tundra of Chicago today! Brrrr!

minniejack- :thumbsup2 to the violinist kid!

I do have to run.

hope to bbl, if I can.
