many of the other csw -ers were in it also.

It must have been this one. I thought of you and Bonny when I saw it. I'm going to try to get better pictures this weekend.

was that the float that followed the one with kids?

if so, then it was.....

I can't wait to ride EE! Luckily it has a single rider line so I should be able to ride it a couple of times hopefully. I should be able to get everything done by 4-ish if I get there at opening, right? The list of must do's is:

EE
the safari
Finding Nemo
Dinosaur
Kali
Lion King
ITTBAB
the Maharaja Jungle trek

And possibly go to the place you can get to by the train....if only to possibly meet Pocahantas or Rafiki.

go to EE, get FP before riding-then get in line & u should be able to use FP immediately after 1st ride...better yet, if within the time frame on FP, head to Safari, ride; then use ur FP for EE. Look out for Devine on this route...amazing, one of our fav entertainers @ WDW...you'll pass the bird show:) , we enjoy it

note: imo, the bus service from AK is the pits, always a long wait for us no matter when we decide to leave:confused:; one of the reasons we spring for a rental car;) especially, don't try immediately after the parade. may want to consider grabbing a cab to AKL as it's just a short distance & wouldn't cost an arm & a leg.

todd looking forward to more MardiGras pics:goodvibes

back to the race, makes me wish i were in Vegas:laughing:

oh Dawnna, forgot to tell you thanks for letting us crash at your place.

We cleaned up so well you can't even tell we had the party there.....

but, when your neighbors called, we pretended we were you and had a nasty cold.
So.....if you get more chicken soup, that is the reason.
:rolleyes1

Should I still use FP when I can ride in the single rider line? Or does that line get pretty long too? I'm thinking of renting a car that one day, possibly. Can you get a cab when exiting the park, or should I call to arrange one...if I don't rent a car.

andy, check out the age requirement for car rental before you go.
some states require you to be 25 before you can rent a car.

Andy, I have been able to get there at park opening, both on and off season, and ride EE several times within the first half hour the park is open. Depending on the time of year, I may or may not use the single rider line. If you are not there exactly at park opening, though, you MUST GET A FAST PASS.

Don't forget to ride the spinning coaster in Dino-land. That is cool, too.

A great place for lunch is Flame Tree. Yummy pulled pork.

Uh oh. I keep forgetting this is a Universal thread. Hee hee. I love them both. I also luv Sea World and Busch Gardens. I guess I'm just a theme park junkie.

The pyramid is Chichen Itza.
I only wish I could get a tan...I think I burn and then go pale again!!

Hey Mac can I blame you for our fridge taking the easy street and leaking freon all over my kitchen floor... :rolleyes1

Thanks for the tip, Niki! I love all the parks too. I'd love to do SeaWorld this trip, especially with Manta opening. I might try to fit it in, but I can buy sparkly stuff with the ticket money

dang !!

I specifically told Marci not to slam that fridge door.
I couldn't keep her away from the beer......you know how that goes......

and all that cold air coming out of the fridge gave her a nasty cold. that's why she is MIA from here........:rolleyes1

I've already started changing my mind! :rotfl: I'm gonna do DAK open til 4, dinner at Boma, then go to Epcot for WS and Illuminations. Park hopper will be cheaper than La Nouba. Though, that means skipping Goofy's Candy Kitchen, but then I can get zebra domes and something from one of the bakery's at WS. And a Grand Marnier slush!!!

And here I've been blaming Stephen for getting me sick! :rotfl:

(And actually, I'm more of a wine girl! ;) )

And when I first saw the quote about the fridge door, I figured once again someone was blaming me for the cold weather!

Hey Dawnna - on that note - welcome back and I loved the pics!

Just spent two hours catching up on the last two weeks of CSI. The first one was incredibly boring (DH slept through most of it) and the second one was incredibly confusing. :confused3 Liking this show less and less these days!

And I was MIA because we were in Minneapolis. Eric went to another Rubik's cube competition and I took the other two boys for a campus tour at the Univ. of Minnesota. I can read and follow on my iphone but replying is nearly impossible! But I'm back now, still sick, and not thrilled with facing work tomorrow!

Hey there Homies.....I'm back!!!
I will put up some pics!!!:goodvibes

ITTBAB

Rafiki was at Rafiki's Planet Watch (where you take the train to) last time we were there ... only time we've seen Pocahontas was at the Pirate & Princess Party but we've heard Pocahontas is at RPW. We also were able to get Jiminy Cricket at RPW too! If you can't get Rafiki at the Planet, you can almost always find him at MK by the Dole Whip Place just as you're entering Adventureland on the way to Pirates of the Caribbean.

That float is just too awesome ... :thumbsup2

You should be able to hop a bus to Animal Kingdom Lodge, but yes you can also take a taxi - it won't cost you much
