I’d think so as long as not during height of spring break
You are right. We will probably go the first week of May, so hopefully spring break will be over?
Probably. Did you know it will be in our city, Pittsburgh next year?
No I didn't know that!. Of course you are a Steeler fan? When my son was young, he was a Big fan of the Steelers and had clothes and even lamps with the Steelers logo. I am a lukewarm fan of the Vikings just because I live here, but am always disappointed in them each year.......
Had my own appt with my regular pulmonologist today. He is thrilled with my progress, said should be back up to speed later this year.
So glad to hear that your appointment went well!
Hmmph, I don’t want to be a reasonable adult in the parks
LOL, that is such a true statement. But I know you will take it a little easy anyway, even though that's not as much fun
I’am going to get in my closet today and do a little Spring shuffle of clothes and shoes. Then will bag things up for donation.
That sounds good. I love cleaning out old clothes. I did my clothes switch a couple of weeks ago and got rid of 2 bags of clothing. It feels good to do that.
Around our house, many trees fell this one just 50 ft on edge of woods
What a scary picture. I'm glad you were missed, but I know how scary that is to see the trees falling all around you. One year, we had multiple trees fall around our house. Luckily only one hit our garage, but it was a major cleanup. I hope your SIL gets his power back on soon.
Had to wash off the pollen on my car windshield yesterday morning.
That darn pollen!!! It hasn't started here yet, but it's coming. It's always bad because we have many pine trees in our property. Every day we have to wipe down the lawn furniture. Thankfully our car is in the garage, but husband's truck is outside. Soon after that the mosquitoes will start. We get about 2 weeks without pollen and mosquitoes.! Spring is so fun, lol.
He finally was restored…4 days later. Still so many here without
OH, so glad to see that his electricity was restored. I hope by now your area is back on the electrical grid and getting back to normal.
Hi to Charade: I've been following her trip online, but I think by now she is on her way back home?? or home already. It looked like a fun but short trip
I haven't seen Pumpkin post lately so a shout out to her! I'm no one to talk because I seem to hit the posts once a week................
I've been following Carole online and am enjoying her reports on the New
Epic Universe. Can't wait to go there, but that will be next Spring for us.
Today is Finally warm! It's getting up to 80 today (I'll believe it when I see it, lol), and is sunny and beautiful outside. I have sheets hanging out and am a happy girl

I've been busy this AM making iced tea and a brownie for dessert this evening, with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream on it

We are having my Mom over for supper today and I'm fixing fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, and the brownie for dessert! I am hit or miss on frying chicken. Sometimes I don't get it done enough, but hoping for the best!
Yesterday I found a recipe for a chicken casserole which sounded really good. I made it and it was awful!!! I couldn't eat it. Roger kept trying and saying it wasn't too bad, but he finally gave up and threw it away!!! We consoled ourselves with big dishes of ice cream: vanilla for me and butter pecan for him. And I hope today's meal is better
Hope everyone continues to have a good weekend and week.
