Early morning stop in.
Looks like it will be a busy day on the unit today. Manager is on holidays and one sick call today - means we are definitely going to be spread thin.
I almost forgot I had a hair appointment last night. Now my color is refreshed and gave it a good chop as well. I am praying she didn't take too much off that I won't be able to pull it back for our trip. I have zero desire to be wearing the hair down in that heat and humidity. Good thing my hair grows extremely fast.
Quiet night with a phone call to my sister last night. No walk - as I didn't get home until late from my hair appointment.
Well, I should run and get started on my day
Have a great day everyone!!!!
Off & on rain today, got caught in it a couple of times today = drowned rat look. Tomorrow some crack of dawn tests @ hospital. Thank you to my dr’s staff for scheduling them to point I have to leave house in the dark. Least it’s the local one, don’t have to battle traffic into the city. Going to reward myself with Starbucks (with lots of whipped cream) after
I’d say no big loss…
However, it is only as it eats the crowds. They need to replace it with something else, post haste.
That’s is stunning
Isn’t that the worst. DH says he gets nervous coming home as I tend to decide something needs to be “freshened” up i.e. minor project lol
Yea! I’ve taken to using the claw sort of clips, avoids the ridges in hair from the scrunchie/pony band.
Hope you guys keep power or have a genny. Have a lot of family in the direct path from Destin up to Tennessee. We just did a Hurricane snack run as we are canceling everything tomorrow and Friday. Genny is fueled along with backup. 80 gallons of gas between the three vehicles. With the ground so saurated I expect a lot of tree damage around us to knock out power intermittently.I assume it’s possible we could be losing power soon due to the new alert of how the storm tracking will hit my area.
Seems like some hope it might bounce away from where we are depending on what happens in the next few hours.
Those look delicious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Taco Tuesday. Got treated to Talking Tacos Bang Bang Shrimp tacos for lunch
Nothing wrong with a taco any daySo maybe Taco Thursday for us. Lol
It's single digit dance timeYour countdown is getting closer![]()
It's great you have had amazing weather - besides what's coming in now. Your pictures are AMAZING!!!!!I think this is the first September ever we haven’t had rain during the day at all….no 3pm downpours, no storms, it has been amazing weather. I think we’ve been lucky so far as everyone is telling us August especially had a lot of rain every day, glad we missed it!
Stay safe! I'll be sending lots of positive thoughts for you to stay safe!!!!I assume it’s possible we could be losing power soon due to the new alert of how the storm tracking will hit my area.
Stay safe as well! It sounds like you're well prepared for it.We just did a Hurricane snack run as we are canceling everything tomorrow and Friday. Genny is fueled along with backup. 80 gallons of gas between the three vehicles. With the ground so saurated I expect a lot of tree damage around us to knock out power intermittently.
Thanks, i knew when I found out how many subterranian levels the parking garage does have would equate to a long morning. They are so busy now that the sleepy local hospital has been turned into one of the main imaging sites for this half of the state. No more same day results, crapola lolHope Keisha gets good news and a quick appointment in this early morning,
Don’t blame you there one bit. The corporations complain they can’t keep employees. Flexibility as to hours/days worked strikes me as a good incentiveAnd now, much rather have more telework days than in office ones. Off ranting soap box now.
Lucky you! I’ve gotten drenched when out, with umbrella setting in car, 3 days this week. That’s what i get for being an eternal weather optimist lI think this is the first September ever we haven’t had rain during the day at all….no 3pm downpours, no storms, it has been amazing weather.
Don’t change that dial. Actually, you may just luck out with the approaching stormIt’s a rainy day in Georgia for me.
Don’t change that dial, I still predict it’s going to hang a left & west of you.Seems like some hope it might bounce away from where we are depending on what happens in the next few hours.
I was so surprised to find out how many widows with dogs shelter @ the Loews hotels…this coming from a person who is highly allergic to dog dander. RP seems to be the worst for that for some reason? We were half temped to make a run to Orlando to meet up. DW is still recovering from surgery and it would be real stretch
Woohoo! We’re not far behind you. Reminds me to nudge the mr’s family along there as to packingIt's single digit dance time
If it is true I hope they get something good to replace it.Also, I did hear Fast & Furious is not reopening after HHN…..not confirmed or official of course
Hope all went well. I hate early morning appointments.Tomorrow some crack of dawn tests @ hospital. Thank you to my dr’s staff for scheduling them to point I have to leave house in the dark.
I so wish I could work from home, but that’s not really feasible with my job. During the pandemic I was alone in the office most of the time which was nice.Sigh, one more day, after today, of commuting. Hope they sooner than later, allow less in office days and allow moving those days, if needed.
That’s how mine is now. If I want to get my hair off my neck I usually go with 2 stubby ponytails. (Not in public though.)Well, mine is too short to put up in a decent ponytail now, it looks like a little stub if I do, so I don’t.
Prayers that you don’t lose power. We have considered buying a generator.I assume it’s possible we could be losing power soon due to the new alert of how the storm tracking will hit my area.
Yay!!It's single digit dance time
DJ, you and family please keep safe, and hope you and Mac don’t loose power.
Looks to be a very large storm coming tomorrow to FLA/GA.
