Something About Nothing............ #14

Last minute decision to dare SW next Saturday and UO Sunday. Possibly BG Monday. May try some Magical Dining as well, Sharks is on it for one and there's a few places we'd love to try off campus.
One of the kids has a disability pass, so Labor Day insanity isn't as big an issue.
Hope everyone had the happiest of weekends.
I love the food, vacation and family pix y'all.

I am considering getting some for myself. My feet are fine, but when I went with B to see the podiatrist he suggested that they might be able to help me with my knee discomfort.

They will do you the world of good, my back lets me know when I need my orthotics renewed, makes such a difference to me, same with folks with knee issues, a good Bio Mechanics specialist will sort you out.

Hey all. Nice night on the hotel's rooftop restaurant. We could watch both DCA & WDW show/fireworks. Seemed as tho it was us and mostly large groups of locals celebrating this & that. Even tho I had dress on was decidedly underdressed. There were sequins & furs lol

Think I may start mini TR on DL board lol

Today, pool & then 1st OOgie boogie party

Oh goody, I`ll read it!!!!

Oh sequins I like the sound of, very jazzy!! Hope you enjoyed the boogie party!!!

You did the right thing there for her protection

Ouch, icing immediately afterwards would help my mom with that

We tend to easily bruise in my family. My lower legs always have a few as I'm such a klutz

Yes, maybe cause it's her 1st go-round doing it I initially thot.

I'd never tell her I'm nervous, confidence is essential component after learning skill sets with any gymnastic move.

Believe it's more the idea that it's a leap of faith of sorts at this point that makes my stomach drop when the big stunts coming up. Not sure I could let go and be dependent on team mates to "have my back" that way lol

Is it wrong I have oyster envy? lol. Haven't seen ones that size in years. Was supposed to eat at the Morton’s around the corner here to grab some. Price is lower than the boathouse in DS BTW. Menu doesn't show them for lunch. Need to call

Good day all.

I did think of you as they arrived, they were so plump and not too mild a flavour, ironically he gets his oysters from the area of Scotland we grew up in, well, close enough!

They were gorgeous!!

Haven`t been to Morton`s, there is one near us off of Sand Lake Rd, might have a look.

Good Sunday evening everyone :wave2:

Hopefully things will work out for you. I don’t know why they have to make it so hard.

Thank you he is doing well.

Thank you Lynne. Sounds like you have another nice vacation coming up.

Happy belated birthday.

Thank you Carole.

It is. I have been looking forward to this trip.

Happy belated Anniversary.

I saw those big heeled Crocs in person and they are huge and heavy. I can’t imagine anyone being able to walk in those.

Thank you Janet. He is doing well.

Mom’s usually have a knack for knowing what to do to help their children when needed Nurse or not.

I saw that Pumpkin at Big Lots. I’am sure it will be a good addition to your Halloween set up. Nice choice.

Treat yourself to a new phone Mac.

Compression socks are great to have on hand.

It is terrible that there are still schools that allow such awful behavior to go on. Your son did the right thing.

My sister bought some of them when the store opened here locally. I tried a piece. They are rich.

We also have a “Everything Bundt Cake” in the same shopping plaza. Those cakes are too sweet.

Yep, Getting tossed in the air is not for the faint of heart. She is brave to do those stunts.

Nice looking oysters.

Happy Birthday to Tom. Sounds like you all have been celebrating in style this weekend. May he have many more Happy Birthdays.

Sounds like a great idea. I will be over to read it when you start it. Have a great vacation.

Our nice few days reprieve from the heat has gone. We are going to be roasting for the next few days. With predicted temps midweek of 98 to 100.

I went to Cotsco yesterday and look what I found.

A nice hooked rug. Just what I needed to add to my area where I put my Witch Tree for Halloween.

Did a walk in our local mall the other day and found some Crocs for Halloween. Even the box they came in is cool.

Hope everyone is having a wonderful Sunday.

Thank you for the birthday wishes for my lovely husband! He did like the gifs when I showed him and yes he had a lovely birthday weekend :-)

I do love the rug above!! It would be lovely within a display!

Yes, we had a lovely weekend overall. Between our meal out on Saturday night, time with friends during the day yesterday, brunch went well and no one went hungry, we had such fun. Kyle did well with his half marathon then we watched one of the dullest GP`s ever, had some food with Kyle then after he left some friends arrived that couldn`t make brunch, so we had a nice evening too. He got some lovely gifts and was thrilled with the Pewter glass bottomed tankard I got him, but seeing everyone was so lovely, especially Kyle of course, I still find it weird when he talks about home and it`s his place he means 🥰

All the alcoholic and sweet gifts have all been put away out of temptation for now!!

Up early this morning, we walked our 5 miles, it was hotter than forecast so dumped the hoodie after a mile or so and it was busy, Bank Holiday here so many folks are off work today. I think Kyle and some friends are heading out hiking a couple of hours away from us, nice day for it as it is lovely.

Almost lunchtime here, open face turkey sandwiches with some salad, dinner will be our butchers beef and sweet chilli sausages, they are gorgeous, very chunky and very meaty, will do couscous again with them and some sauteed veg.

Not sure what we`ll get up to this afternoon, Tom is not volunteering which will be nice as he usually does on a Monday.

Have a lovely Monday :sunny:

Quick Monday morning stop in :surfweb: but thought I would make a quick stop in here first before starting my to-do list.

We had a busy - but fun weekend. We got to spend some time with gd - even with her spending some time with her other grandpa and his family. She definitely keeps us busy! I was tired when they left yesterday afternoon lol

I will be busy in the evenings this week. We are going camping with the kids ( Edmonton kids too) so it will be a week of tasks every night this week to get everything ready. I better start my lists of things to pack as well as a grocery list - and having some group meals.

Nice day out, had to laugh, this is what $18.45 buys @ Crumbl cookie.
We had them once too! There is one that opened not far dd house. They are good - but $$$. It's not something we get often.
What sort of blinds did you get. I needed replacement for the wide (picture window sort) wooden ones in my DR. Couldn’t find them anywhere.
I got hunter douglas blinds. They are a more solid blind without the slat. I can pull them completely down or if I'm wanting a bit of sunlight to come in - I can open the tops while the rest of the blind is down - if that makes sense. And then the bedroom ones are blackout ones.

There have been stupid changes to blinds in Canada now. You can't buy any blinds that you would normally use a string to pull up and down :furious: If you buy blinds now - you can only tilt them open or closed. There are no more blinds with any kind string/chain to pull them all the way open or closed. I was looking for the ones you are looking for - the faux wood ones you are talking about - not anymore to be found here :rolleyes2
Did a walk in our local mall the other day and found some Crocs for Halloween. Even the box they came in is cool.
Those are SWEET!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would totally rock those!
Last minute decision to dare SW next Saturday and UO Sunday
I hope you had a great time in the parks!

Yay for Kyle! It really is great that Kyle lives close to you and is able to come see often. Sounds like you have a fabulous weekend. Sorry the GP was a dud. Some races are definitely not as exciting as others.

Well, I should get going and do some actual work - it's payroll approval day today :rolleyes2 At least I there are no nursing peeps on my payroll. So that makes it easier.

Have a great day everyone!

The ‘lil is cheering her first game, ever! She’s the flyer, sorta scary how they toss her around like a rag doll
OMGosh!!!! That photo of her was awesome, and scary at the same time. I know how you are trying not to say anything or show fear to her, which is very hard to do. Congratulations to her !!! I know you are proud of her.
My head coach son is on a 2 game suspension for refusing to leave the field when one of his players was receiving one too many racial taunts
You must be so proud of your son!. Someone raised him right:)
Flat Iron Building.
Nice photo of the Flat Iron Bldg. I've never been to NY, but always found that building to be fascinating.
We`re following the keishashadow style of celebrating.....yep, ended up going out last night with some friends for a "birthday" drink for Tom, it was fun
Sounds like you guys had a very good time celebrating Tom's birthday:)
Up early for appointment with my friend for new orthotics
I hope you feel better with the othotics and that they arrive before your trip. I have feet that are very difficult to find comfortable shoes for. It's always a struggle to find something I like and that fits well.
Now, time to get ready for tonight!!
Have a great time:)
Carole….stupid cat jumped on my lap and on my keyboard and screwed up what I was writing to you
LOL, thanks for the laugh Mac!

We had a lovely evening out last night, and food was exceptional! I did get my oysters and they were very large! I know keisha will appreciate this picture 😁
All I can say is ICK!!! Sorry but those oysters would kill my appetite, LOL. Just no:)

Had a lazy day yesterday
Sounds like a plan to me; However, I've had too many forced no activity days lately due to a back problem:(
Hey all. Nice night on the hotel's rooftop restaurant. We could watch both DCA & WDW show/fireworks.
Sounds wonderful and relaxing too.

Mom’s usually have a knack for knowing what to do to help their children when needed Nurse or not

I know what you mean Robo. I'm so glad they got all the cancer and your son is doing well recovering.
I seem to have lost Robo's headline and it mixed with Keisha's. Sorry!

Treat yourself to a new phone Mac
LOL, I had to laugh at this one. My daughter refuses to get a new Iphone. Her's is so outdated that it doesn't work half the time?? I don't know why she doesn't just do it.
Our nice few days reprieve from the heat has gone. We are going to be roasting for the next few days. With predicted temps midweek of 98 to 100
Sounds awful Robo. We just had our hottest string of days in the upper 80's. No fun. Now we are getting down to our normal 70 and 60's this week - can't wait!
Up early this morning, we walked our 5 miles, it was hotter than forecast
You and Tom are so impressive to be able to walk that far, and daily too! I feel great if I walk around our big supermarket for groceries, LOL.
We are going camping with the kids
Pumpkin, that sounds great to me and a relaxing way to spend the evenings after work.

Well, to catch up on my "fun" week....... I did something stupid and twisted my back just a little, and wham....I can hardly walk and am in a lot of pain. I did this last Tuesday, so it's been 6 days. I hate sitting down all day! and I was getting kind of grumpy :) but today I am starting to walk without looking like the witch in Snow White!

I've been using a cane and walker so I don't face plant while walking, using a heating pad, pain meds, and hemp creme. Poor Roger, who is Not a household duty kind of guy, has been doing it all. Washing, running the sweeper, trying to cook, doing errands, so just about everything I usually do. He's been doing a good job, but it made me realize just how much he doesn't know about household stuff, so it's good for him! (right:)

Today I can walk kind of straight!!! Yea! That is a huge improvement. Hopefully this will all be straightened up soon. It's hung on much too long! Now I will stop whining:)

We are getting out of our hot spell and going back to our normal 70 and 60's this week which is greatly appreciated by us. Not my daughter Robin though. She likes it the hotter the better and has spent every spare day she can at the lake floating or on the pontoon boat. I swear she never has gotten over moving from the hot South. She was born and raised there and loves the heat.

I'm going to cut this short for now. I wish everyone a good week ahead and better weather!

Hey youse…that’s Monday ower with thank goodness. I was working this weekend and it was so busy. It took me 25mins to get out of the work car park after my shift yesterday!!
We did have an amazing meal out for my son’s birthday last night so that was nice.
I’ve a couple of days off now so looking forward to a rest. Well,I say rest. I’ve become a bit of a gym bunny this last year. I do strength training and have completed in a few strongman(it’s against woman,it’s just called strongman 😃)comps. This week is testing week in squat, overhead and deadlift. I’m hoping to hit a few PB’s,I’ve worked hard so I should do ok.

Glad you had such a nice time with the little lady, yes they are tiring!! And a camping visit to look forward to, that`ll be lovely getting together like that.

Yes, him being only 20 minutes away is wonderful! We did have a fabulous weekend and yes, always a race or two that are a complete waste of time to watch, we still watch it though :)

Hope your day goes fast!

lol....I did remember you don`t like oysters either, not many do!!!

I thought you`d be better by now, sucks to be like that for so long. But, glad you can walk straight today, at least it`s a slight improvement Ruth.

I`m with Robin, but not much chance of getting that type of weather over here, although this week will be lovely, but you can see autumn is arriving between it getting darker much earlier and the trees changing so much.

Stay comfy Ruth :)

Been trying to write this for an hour, my phone kept ringing or it was txts! So, had to answer everyone of course. One of my friends and her husband met Queen Camilla at the races a couple of days ago, so she shared her pictures and stories, said she is a lovely lady and very funny, everyone says the same thing that have met her.

It was dark just after 8 here tonight, can`t quite get over quickly the evenings are losing light here and so early. But, least you don`t feel silly lighting candles now it`s getting darker.

Lazy night for us, Tom sat and changed email addresses, should have been easy but, holy smokes they don`t make things simple! Not long till bedtime for us, looking good for another walk in the morning, warm and not much wind, suits us nicely.

Hope your Monday has been a good one :-)

Happy almost end of Monday. Today was a pretty average day for me. Yesterday was interesting though. Dh had a matinee performance so it was just me and B at home. we decided to go to a hibachi restaurant for lunch. A little background - we are regulars at this place. It is a small restaurant with 2 small dining rooms and seats about 50 people. When we got to the restaurant there were only 6-8 customers. No one else was waiting to be seated. The manager told us to wait and he would find us a table. I was a little confused because most of the tables were empty. A couple of minutes later another employee started to lead us to the second dining room and then she says, "He should be finished soon." I looked and there was a table for 2 with one lone customer finishing his meal. I then realized that they weren't going to seat us at any of the other tables (the restaurant consists of 3 tables for 2, 1 table for 6, and all other tables are for 4) and make us wait for the man to finish eating and give us his table. There is still no other people waiting to be seated. I told B that this was ridiculous and we should just go somewhere else. We walked next door to our favorite Mexican restaurant. It was almost completely full. There was a party of 7 in front of us who were just getting seated. We were then seated immediately after. What a difference.

Today I received my new shirt I will wear at Universal.

Hey all

11 hours @ DL park. Oddly, the Mr took the lead and kept saying, let's do a few more things. lol. I was ready to take a break around 2 pm, with thot to walk back over for evening as open late Maybe another day

Have a great vacation.
Thanks, it's been great so far!
A nice hooked rug. Just what I needed to add to my area where I put my Witch Tree for Halloween.
Perfect
Sharks is on it for one
They've been consistently good for decades. Two things that annoy
Re magical dining.

1st, the often dumb menus down to point they offer completely different dishes than their norm.

2nd they have always insisted everyone @ table needs to order from the magical dining menu/3 course affair. No exceptions. Supposedly, it's in contract between the restaurants & MD???
Haven`t been to Morton`s, there is one near us off of Sand Lake Rd, might have a look.
Have heard the experience can vary between sites. They do tend to give their chefs more leeway as to individual menu specials
Kyle did well with his half marathon
Good for him
got hunter douglas blinds
Those are quality ones!
There are no more blinds with any kind string/chain to pull them all the way open or closed
They only now sell 'breakaway' corded ones here due to accidents with kids & pets. Such a horrifying thought

California. Style over substance. It was in mid-8Os today & blazing sun that made it feel way hotter. There were many people in heavy sweaters, hockey jerseys & heavy jeans with boots.

Seriously, I'm out in the sun, a lot. The UV level here must be absolutely off the charts, feels magnified like when on a small boat/reflection

Not great service from somewhere you go often, glad you got to eat at least. How did you enjoy your husbands show??

Love the tee shirt, very appropriate!

Thank you, I think we`ll be celebrating his birthday till the end of this week!!

Just a quick drive by to see how all the homies have been doing today.

For those that will be doing hhn, hope you will be able to share pics when it begins!

Leaving the night light on a few more hours for any that still be up.

♥️

It won`t be long till I need the night light over here, it is already getting darker in the mornings and evenings!!

Wow, that is a long day!!! But sounds like it is such a wonderful trip and weather sounds hot!!!

Oh I was jealous of her, it was a very fleeting meeting as in, hello....lol....but she still met her. My mum`s friend met her through osteoporosis charity a couple of years back, said she was a very engaging woman and very funny, but knew a lot about the charity and the people there.

I do wonder if someone told us not to go to that Morton`s, as it does sound the type of place we`d enjoy.

Enjoy the rest of your trip!!!

Slept till 9am this morning, first for a long time. We woke at 6, heard the howling wind outside and decided to go back to sleep, far too windy to walk, I did wonder if I`d get back to sleep at all, but, next thing it was 9am. Bit grey outside, not cold but not the nicest of days. Although the sun is popping through now.

Don`t need to do anything this morning, so bit of housework, have another pot of tea then lunch and Tom is volunteering later so I have the afternoon to myself. Still haven`t finished Dr Zhivago, just over half way, I`m determined to finish it before we go away, just been busy.

Chicken breasts stuffed with brie and cranberry and wrapped in bacon tonight, parmentier potatoes with garlic and rosemary and some roasted purple carrots.

Another cuppa before I start doing something!!!

Have a lovely Tuesday!!!

Quick Taco Tuesday stop in!

Busier day than I wanted yesterday - but I survived ::yes::

Both boys got home last night safe and sound. They went to the city for a Metallica concert. The older ds went to both nights of the concert, younger ds only went to the Sunday night concert. If dh wouldn't have had to work on Sunday - we probably would have done a quick turn and burn to go to the Sunday night show. I am sad we missed it. From the videos they showed us - it looked like it was a good concert - both nights. They came home adorned with lots of swag. it was 60.00 for a concert t-shirt :scared1: :faint: But they had fun and lots of memories made!

I did get my walk in last night - took the long route - hit 10,000 steps for the day. When you sit at a desk for most of the day, I need to be intentional about getting all the steps I can get in for a day. Yesterday I got quite a few steps in at work - as we had a few new patients starting treatment. So I show them the way to the treatment rooms and explain what all is going to happen on the walk. But other than that - I'm sitting for most of the 8 hrs.

I am not a big Camilla fan - but that is very cool!!!!! That is very exciting for her!

As I was walking last night - I was thinking about my evening walks around the neighborhood will coming to an end - and I will need to drag my butt back to the gym again.
Today I received my new shirt I will wear at Universal.
LOVE it!!!!!!! Very fitting for you!
That is so bizarre. Any reason why?
It is a hazard to kids and pets.
Chicken breasts stuffed with brie and cranberry and wrapped in bacon tonight, parmentier potatoes with garlic and rosemary and some roasted purple carrots.
Yum!!!!!!!!!

11 hours @ DL park. Oddly, the Mr took the lead and kept saying, let's do a few more things. lol. I was ready to take a break around 2 pm, with thot to walk back over for evening as open late Maybe another day
That's a long day! I've been telling dh we have many park days - but that's so we don't have to try to fit everything in on one day ;) Enjoy allll the moments!

Well, I should get some tasks done yet this morning. I can daydream this afternoon.

Have a great day everyone!

Oh the weather makes such a difference to walking doesn`t it! I think this year we have really noticed the difference in how early the seasons are changing, yes I love autumn too, but we never really had a summer lol....If we do 5 miles we do just under 10,000 steps, or thereabouts, so the rest of the steps are a bonus. I`m going to change it to a minimum of 12,000 steps after Florida, until the real winter hits of course!!! Then I make like a bear and hibernate :)

I know what you mean, I never used to like Camilla, quite the opposite for many years, but she has won me and many others over with her dedication to Charles and the Royal Family, so I guess if William can forgive, then so can I. My friends aren`t normally star struck, but they admitted they were a little as she was just so friendly and down to earth and loves the horse racing too!!!

Hope you have a lovely day too!

Got some housework done, not as much as I planned as we ended up with Elise and her dad visit, haven`t seen her as they`ve been away, so had a nice couple of hours with them, made them some lunch and then they left to go quad biking, bit breezy today but they`ll love it.

Tom headed out volunteering this afternoon, so I baked and did some reading, then got dinner ready and planned tomorrow, another birthday lunch.....gotta stretch it out!!!

Lazy night ahead for us, Tom is making a pot of tea as I sloth around on laptop, weather is still lovely outside, so doors are wide open but it is breezy. Seems to have been the story of our summer!!

Choccie biscuit with my tea or a slice of cake.........slice of cake I think 🍰

I am so bummed out today. Disney released their After hours event dates for 2025 and there are none during the week we will be there. We were so looking forward to this event. Well, I guess 2 of our nights are free now.

11 hours @ DL park.
Wow. I don’t have that much stamina anymore.

That is such an odd account. Can't imagine any good rationale for that
I know they try to keep the table for 6 open in case a larger party comes in. I just can’t understand not seating 2 people at a 4-top when there are clearly plenty of empty tables.

California. Style over substance. It was in mid-8Os today & blazing sun that made it feel way hotter. There were many people in heavy sweaters, hockey jerseys & heavy jeans with boots.
I forgot about CA. Crazy to wear furs and sweaters.

How did you enjoy your husbands show??
The show was very good and he did a great job of being utterly loathsome. The girl who played his daughter was amazing.

Love the tee shirt, very appropriate!
Thanks. I posted it to my cross stitch group and several other people want one now.

I hate going to the gym. I’m not really sure why. I would much rather exercise at home, but there are far too many distractions there.

One hour until time to go home. I think I’m going to call Disney and modify our reservations.

Good Tuesday evening everyone :wave2:

Last minute decision to dare SW next Saturday and UO Sunday. Possibly BG Monday. May try some Magical Dining as well, Sharks is on it for one and there's a few places we'd love to try off campus.
Wow……sounds like a fun filled weekend.

I will be busy in the evenings this week. We are going camping with the kids ( Edmonton kids too) so it will be a week of tasks every night this week to get everything ready. I better start my lists of things to pack as well as a grocery list - and having some group meals.
Thats a lot of food planning and pulling supply’s together for camping. I hope you get time to enjoy yourself……are you planning any campfire s’mores?

I know what you mean Robo. I'm so glad they got all the cancer and your son is doing well recovering.
Thank you Ruth.

I’am so sorry to hear your back has flared up that is miserable to go through. Sending lots of get well prayers your way.

Today I can walk kind of straight!!! Yea! That is a huge improvement. Hopefully this will all be straightened up soon. It's hung on much too long! Now I will stop whining:)
So good to hear you able to walk upright again.

Janet I had to laugh when you said some were wearing furs in California. I thought it was hot there too.

I think it is better to be comfortable yet fashionable than to be fashionably miserable.

Almost forgot - We went to Panda Express last night and this was my fortune.
Cute that you found that in your fortune cookie.

You did the right thing on the Hibachi restaurant. I would Have left too.

That is a cute shirt that you ordered.

Just a quick drive by to see how all the homies have been doing today.

For those that will be doing hhn, hope you will be able to share pics when it begins!

For sure I will share some pics of HHN for you Mac. I know Carole and Tom take great photos and share those in her trip report. So between the two of us you should get lots of photos.

Oh I was jealous of her, it was a very fleeting meeting as in, hello....lol....but she still met her. My mum`s friend met her through osteoporosis charity a couple of years back, said she was a very engaging woman and very funny, but knew a lot about the charity and the people there.
What a nice surprise to get to meet her. She always has a smile on her face.

Chicken breasts stuffed with brie and cranberry and wrapped in bacon tonight, parmentier potatoes with garlic and rosemary and some roasted purple carrots.
Sounds like a delicious dinner planned for this evening. Do you take dinner reservations at Carole’s Kitchen?

Janet hope you are enjoyed the Oogie Boogie Bash.

Was up early this morning it was supposed to reach 98 today, but it topped 100. We are supposed to have a few more smoking hot days then rain predicted Saturday with a cool down in temps.

I went to my Aunts funeral today. It was predicted she would pass and she did last week. She lived a nice long time. She was 93. She was buried about an hour from here in Kentucky. It was a beautiful service. Her and my Uncle are buried not far from my grandparents and my Mom.

I was able to see some cousins I have not seen in a while. It was so nice seeing everyone. Sadly that is the size of it only seeing extended family at Weddings and Funerals.

My Aunt would be happy to know all her family came together to honor her and be with one another.

Just a lazy rest of the day. I took a little nap when I got home.

Charade you have inspired me to get more creative with my wardrobe. I ordered a couple of T-shirts for HHN.

My package with the two T-shirts I ordered arrived late this afternoon.

I needed to get a couple of shirts to go with my shoes…..LOL

I started doing a little decorating yesterday afternoon.

I need to get my Halloween Trees up next because they take the most time. I will try and work on those tomorrow.

Have a wonderful rest of the evening everyone.

I don`t think I could ever have done 11hrs in a park!!! That takes a lot of energy! That`s a shame about the dates for next year, you`ll find plenty to do those nights I`m sure.

Yes, the gym is not a place for me either, although the physiotherapist I see now and again, him and his dad run a gym alongside the physio side and it`s the type of gym I`d go to if it were closer, it`s about 45 minutes away from us so I know we wouldn`t go regularly.

Glad you enjoyed your husband`s show, that is a tough part to play, but sounds like he did it with aplomb and glad you got to see it too!

Good Tuesday evening everyone :wave2:

I`m sorry to hear your aunt passed Robbie, doesn`t matter the age, it`s still always so sad to hear of a relatives passing. And yes, it is sometimes the only time you see relatives. I have cousins all over the UK and beyond and there are so many of them we never get to see them all at the same time, even at funerals, not everyone can go, it`s very strange. Even with my siblings, I see them all when I go to Scotland every time, but didn`t manage to get us all in the same room at the same time this past trip again, last time was a funeral.

Love the tee shirts Robbie, they are very nice.

lol....our kitchen is open to most folks!!! Plenty of room too, that dish is one of my favourites, I adore brie and cranberry together!!

I love a lazy day too!!!
