Congratulations to Kyle, You and Tom must be so proud.
Fell off her horse??? Wow. I used to do a lot of horseback riding and thankfully never fell off. I think I held on for dear life
Only 9 weeks? It's amazing how time flies. My son is counting the days - we are now less than l00, LOL.
Grrrrrr.............. and I still don't know HOW I do it???
My brother thinks I know Everything about medicine, LOL. He calls me for every little thing. I don't know why because I've been out of the business for several years.
That is one scary looking water! and it looks really cold.
Congrats to your DH. I just read TKAM this past Spring and I really loved it. I haven't seen the movie though but would love ot.
Oh Carole, then you haven't tried Real Southern Iced tea! I learned how to make it while living in Tn and I still make it for the family. They all love it

. It's a little more work than usual, but worth it. I would have been kicked out of the South if I didn't like iced tea, or catfish or cornbread
That is inspiring that you are so organized at this stage of the game . Gives me something to shoot for before our trip!
Mac, I love baseball too, especially the little league games we used to go to for our grandsons. Priceless. I like pro ball too but sometimes it moves too slow for me. We are into watching the PGA now and I find it slow but interesting.
That is really cold Carole! Not trying to brag or anything, but we are in the 80's and sunny now

You are a good person! That's a lot of early morning traveling, but I bet you love doing it for your lil.
Hope she did well in the race.
Oh, when I read that it made me think of those days too. At my Grandma's she always set out the "good" china and silver. Everyone in the family crowded around the big dining room table. Sometimes we had a "kids" table set up too. It was such a special time because of all the care given to the settings and table. Now we never do that, to that extent.
Wow, that is so nice that that young lady stopped to pose with your GD. Your GD looks very happy
Today it's 88 degrees and sunny. I'm loving this warm weather, finally. We had a very cool and dreary start to summer. Roger and I went to a favorite restaurant for dinner last night for our anniversary, which is tomorrow

This restaurant is an hour away, but worth every mile. I tried tiramasu (sp?) for the first time, and I Am in Love. It is now my favorite dessert. I had seen it on the Great British Baking Show and was intrigued. Now I crave it. It was a Huge serving, and I thought I couldn't eat it......Right, I ate the whole thing

I was miserable for a while after supper but Yum that is a wonderful dessert!
Tonight we are going to another favorite restaurant (spoiled maybe?). It is on the lake where we owned a resort for several years. It's a fun place with fresh fish and other good food. My daughter and husband are meeting us there as they are going by boat. Looking forward to a nice dinner with them.
Hope everyone has a good weekend.
