Thank you Carole. Always glad when the trip down is over although I do like driving.
I remember tasting the cornbread and buttermilk when I was younger. It is an acquired taste for sure. I don’t care for buttermilk, but adding it to banana bread in the mixing process and some other cakes etc….really adds some nice moisture.
Good you hear your mom is well. Glad to hear Kyle will be able to go along for the festivities I’am sure your mom will be over the moon to see you all.
Thank you. My daughter in law is so sweet and she is a trooper.
Glad to hear Kyle did so well with his back surgery when he had it done.
Yes, they don’t mess around with the therapy. It is the best thing for them to be up moving as soon as possibly.
Thank you Lynne.
It looks like the next 10 days in Orlando are going to be wonderful. It is going to hang into the low 80’s during the day and low 60’s at night. Wonderful weather.
Thank you Mac. She is doing well.
Yes, I had total knee replacement in both knees.
I remember when you had your knee replacement.
Thank you. So glad you enjoy the pictures.
Hope Mr Mac has recovered and you are both well.
Yuck……that is cold weather.
Sending some Florida sunshine your way.
Thank you Pumpkin. The girls are doing well. I’am sore, but no worse for wear.
Glad to hear you made it safely. Yes, those long early travel days do wear you out.
Nice photo.
I know if the local stores did not have salt they could have ordered it. The young lady at the check inn desk said they have never had snow and Ice that she could remember. I believe her as I had never scene snow and ice that far South in Georgia. I hope they did take care of the ice issue.
Don’t stress, just enjoy your vacation.
It was really a freak Ice and storm that hit them like everyone else in that corridor, but that is no excuse. They really needed to salt to melt the ice. Little bit of preparation on the part of management would have helped.
My concern is that someone much older than me with other medical issues would park then open the door and fall.
I was trying to right myself and ended up falling forward on my left knee which had been replaced a number of years ago and my right arm, shoulder and hip. I’am sore and bruised. It will settle down I hope soon.
Sounds like a wonderful mom and daughter day.
Sending some warm Florida sunshine our way Ruth. I hope you and your hubby are doing well.
Sounds like a lovely party.
That name rang a bell so I looked it up. I think that fella was a British teeny bopper back in the day.
It was so nice of you and all their friends to provide a nice home cooked meal for everyone. I bet it was a nice spread indeed. Sounds like a very thoughtful gift for them.
Janet enjoy your vacation in the sunshine.
Up early this morning. Looking at the Palm trees out the slider doors. Lazy Sunday.
Did get a few things done around the house this morning.
Excited to go up for Mardi Gras in a few weeks. Looking forward to a little park time, food and watching the parade. Hopefully by then all the aches and pains will be gone and I can enjoy my time there.
Talked to granddaughter yesterday and she might be able to come down for a few days towards the end of the month. She is doing well.
Will give daughter in law a call later to check up on her.
Have a wonderful Sunday everyone doing whatever makes you happy.
