Lol all the neighbors craning their necks to see what all the fuss was about, I’m sure
We’ve had a very young doe appear in our driveway for over a week. Nothing last night though. They are really moving about, getting that last rut in before hunkering down
doubtful I will ever forget that episode. Rarely, am I totally surprised like that one managed
Nice. does she compete in the step dancing still?
GD had considered teaching the younger girls in her gym tumbling, just such a long drive from home and she’s otherwise committed most days. Think it would be fun tho to pay it back of sorts in something you love.
Put your xmas tree up first, will give you something pretty to look at while your eyes settle back down.
It’s true, they are usually quite understaffed with medical specialists.
my family dr told me that friends of his are neurologists. Have young kids still at home pre-school. They quit working for the large hospital system here.
Both now working in North Dakota But, kept the family home here intact. What did stick with me is each works two weeks at a time, then flies home and they switch off.
He said they are making nearly double what they made here & only working 1/2 the time. A win-win, as one of them is always able to be full time with the kids. Plan on doing it for a year or two.
They do get to see each other two weekends a month. Quite interesting, told it’s commonplace as those far-flung places just cannot attract specialists to live there.
good, one less thing to keep you up at night worrying.
difficult to move on when a family member has passed, hugs there.
I always see my late DB’s entire family on Halloween, seems like there’s near 50 now with kids and grandchildren Lol. They descend like locusts.
Do enjoy seeing them all for a bit, however, do find myself feeling rather sad later when rethinking the day. just wishing that he was still here and I had the opportunity to give a proper good-bye. While it’s normal, it sure doesn’t make it hurt any less. Guess that’s part of what makes us human
Oh, absolutely needed. No funny stuff missy lol. Last thing you need is to decide to have a laundry marathon & rip open the stitches so close to your vacation
Yet another shaggy dog story:
day three after eye dr appointment for my inflamed eyes, finally have my RX for eye drops in hand.
Eyes feel so much better after just one drop, must have a good numbing agent in there.
such a slog with rite aid tho to get the RX. Two different stories why they couldn’t fill it…first, they had to order it, then they switched reason over to my insurance declined coverage.
BS, I immediately called my ins company who indicated they paid for the $600 RX yesterday. ‘somebody’ paid the small copay ($10) in cash.
story is, it was filled, just never made it into the bin for me to pick up. Interesting…they have initiated an internal investigation. Call out the hounds
What somebody would want with another person’s eye drops, even if pricey, is beyond me

Certainly, not a controlled substance Of any sort.
no wonder they’ve gone bankrupt. I switched all my remaining RX over to CVS, something just doesn’t smell right there. Never received a “sorry” for the inconvenience either. Poor customer service and I know most of them by their first name & vice-a-versa. Just another layer to that onion.
good news in all this: once my insurance company called them, rite aid quickly absorbed the cost for the the replacement RX to be filled. they did make me fork over the copay. The nerve lol
