I used to watch this for years but only a little this year. I just saw the season finale and my question is: Is Simon the father of Sandy's baby? Please explain. I thought it was that other guy.

It was suppose to be Martin's but it looks like they left it open... maybe a spinoff (although I have also heard that another network may pick up the series). But I also got the impression that Rose knew???

That's what we'ld all like to know! For a "Series Finale" they sure opened a ton of new story lines on tonight's show. Apparently, even the cast doesn't know for sure if this was "it". I hope they bring some version of this show to the new network.

I thought he was from the beginning but they havne't confirmed it yet. And I agree with the others looks like they are keeping alot open for possible spinoff.

There were way too many cliff hangers. If another company doesn't take up the story I think I will go insane.. Or maybe just ponder the possibilities until I forget about it..

Actually if the baby is his, it would be 9 as Mary and Lucy already have 1 child each.

I figured Sandy's child was Simon's. I found the whole show last night to be somewhat confusing. One minute Annie and Eric are speculating, and next thing they are at a reception/party and never showed the actual ceremony or who actually said lets cancel the wedding. Yes, they sure did leave a lot of cliff hangers, and so many openings for a new show. Great I hope someone does pick it up and it continues.

In real life, Martin would have demanded a paternity test as soon as possible. If Martin didn't know to demand it, his father would have. If a girl sleeps with you on the first date, how many other guys has she slept with on the first date? If Sandy slept with Simon, then shortly thereafter slept with Martin, how in the world was everyone just so sure it was Martin's? Rose knew there was at least a strong possiblity the baby was Simon's, thus the friction between she and Sandy.
