Someone was very mean to my little boy......

I am so sorry that your little guy was scared. DS is 3 and I can't imagine if someone would have done that to him. :(

Is it wrong that I have visions of the Seinfeld frozen yogurt episode flashing through my head? Tiggersmom, I'm sorry your son was traumatized. My son is upset because we don't have any trick-or-treaters.

What a wacko! I'm sorry he was mean to your little boy.

That's terrible that someone treated your child that way. I hope your son can enjoy the rest of the night. Here your little boy is all excited and happy.

That man was totally out-of-line. I would send my husband down and say to never address your son like that again.

I am so sorry. Sad that someone was more worried about things and stuff than making it a fun night for children. Someone else said it earlier and they were right. MEAN PEOPLE SUCK.

Poor baby, how mean can some 'big people' be??

I wish you were not so far away, I would come there and personally kick all of his bags up and down the driveway!

You have to wonder if for some folks it's all about making the house look the best on the street and nothing else.. :guilty:

Yes. Put him on your "Do not Go Near" list forever.

I have a bucket of Chocolate cadny my kids can't eat. I could mail it to your son.
I know you could buy it yourself but part of the fun is being given candy by total strangers just because you are a kid.

{{{HUGS}}} for Christopher. What an awful thing to happen on such a fun night. People can be so thoughtless.

The funny thing is...I am usually THE MAMA BEAR. I guess my fight or flight kicked in and I just fled. I really wish I had kicked all of his stupid bags down....and yes, I know 2 wrongs don't make a right..but I would have felt better.

Yeah, I would have been tempted to do that, too. But, you took the high road and that's a great lesson for your son.

Awwww....you are such a sweetie. :goodvibes All you guys are....thanks so much. Right now my little guy is curled around a big ol' fat white cat. Poor Casper is being suffocated but is "all over" Christopher....I swear that cat has a sixth sense! :paw:

oooh, poor little guy. What a major bummer for his first Halloween he could really get into. That mean old jerk! If he is hesitant to go next year, I would suggest going to a church where they have some kind of a fair with games and candy for prizes. Our littlest was really hesistant to go out last year (he would have been 3 the week after Halloween.) We went to a chruch fair and this year he was all set to go and headed out with brother and sis and Daddy for a night of fun.

Aww...how dissapointing for your little guy. I'm sorry that happened to him, hopefully he'll forget for next year.

Thank you Julie,

That is a great suggestion. I hope he isn't still scared next year...but for a child to cry for 2 hours...well, that leaves an imprint. I will definitely consider that for next year.

I just hate men who yell at women and children, what cowards

Wow that guy is a miserable piece of crap. I can't believe he yelled at your sweet little boy. :( Big hugs to Christopher.

Psst....go out tonight and TP his house......j/k....well not really. ;) If I lived closer I'd put on some of DH's old cammies and do it for you.

A teenager yeah maybe but a 3 yr old who may not know any better....Sheesh!

Wow - I saw your post and almost typed out a reply to it before anyone else, but I was so angry I couldn't think of words that would make it past the filter - and now, a few hours later, I am still furious. How dare he do that to your child!!!!!!!

Here's hoping that your little boy will have a Happy halloween experience sometime, and that that miserable you-know-what gets his...
