Someone STOLE our Christmas tree

Yes, stole it. We got our tree at Home Depot. Then we ran into the mall real quick to look for LED lights in Sears. Came back out and the straps on the tree were cut and it was gone.

Thats terrible! Only thing I can think is it was a couple of punk teens or something like that.
Just to give you a nice story, once, we walked out of Marshalls and actually found a wreath on the hood of our car! It was a nice little suprise for us, and gave a great Christmas smell to the house the entire season. I've since bought wreaths every single year to put on our dining room table, and NON smell as nice as that one.

Oh my gosh! I have done the same thing by leaving the tree tied to the car while I sent shopping. I never thought anyone would be so low as to steal a tree from my car.

yep...that's why we went to Wal Mart before we went to Lowes to buy the tree...I didn't trust the people at Walmart to not take it from my truck!

Somehow I think what goes around comes around with stuff like that. I think of it as bad Christmas karma. At least I hope whoever stole the lighted train out of my front yard year before last and really upset my 3 year old had a really lousy holiday.
