Someone stole our AP magnet off our car :(

Sorry about that.........how did you get the magnet to start with?

I only had an antenna topper stolen once.....and that was when they first came out.......so what, around 1997 or so?? It was the basic plain Mickey one (only one they had then).

I have over 400 now. Have a collection in the house and then about 12 that I rotate through for the seasons for the car.

BFF had a big pirate magnet on her car that was stolen after about a year.
I have had a breast cancer pink one stolen off my car

I've never been able to keep an antenna topper on my car. People in the parking lots here at home always stole them. I finally gave up a few years ago. I now have one hanging from the mirror. I just stuck a little screw with an open top into the top of the topper and then hung a 1/4" wide black satin ribbon through the screw's eye and tied it to my mirror. Before that I had to buy a couple every trip, but they never lasted more than a few weeks on my antenna before someone stole it.

As far as 'some people', what got me is last week (May 10th-20th) we were at WDW. May 14th we ate dinner at Be Our Guest. We had my elderly mom with us, who uses an ECV down there, but also carries her very nice cane in case her knees are giving her trouble. The night we ate at BoG she left the ECV right outside the doors where the CM told her to and decided she didn't need her cane, as she wanted to walk without it. When we came out, her cane was missing from where she hung it on the ECV. We asked thenCM that stands there at the doors, but he said he didn't notice anyone around the ECVs and strollers that were sitting there. Even he was was surprised that someone would steal a cane off an ECV. Who the heck would steal an old woman's cane, even if it was a really nice one?

First paragraph: what a GREAT idea!!

Second paragraph: THAT is just SO WRONG on SO MANY DIFFERENT levels!!! I'm angry FOR her and I don't even know you!! But Karma can be nasty!! I'm just so sorry for your mom. That is just horrible.

To HockeyMomNH: YOU have made me VERY hungry for CAKE!!! This does NOT agree with my eating plan for our Disney vacation--thanks A LOT!! But BOY do those cakes look FABULOUS and I bet they taste as good as they look!!! I will be dreaming of them today as I eat my yogurt!!!

Oh my goodness! That is the lowest of the low. Shame on them! Your poor mom. I believe in karma, and that person is in for a whopper!

So far *knock on wood* we haven't had ours stolen yet. We do take it off when we get to Disney.

We had a Fab 5 magnet stolen off of our car at Epcot a few years ago. I was pretty irked. While at Epcot that day, I had replaced a tinkberbell magnet that had been stolen too, in Virginia. So to get back to the car, and see my Fab 5 magnet stolen too, I was fuming. The next trip we drove, I left my magnets at home.

That is so low down and dirty to steal the magnet off your car. Non Disney related, but in HS someone broke into my locker w/ a hammer and took my expensive coat out of it. I never understood why people do that kind of stuff.

If you decide to get another one, put it on your fridge.

I stopped putting the antenna toppers on a few years back, because they kept getting stolen. I now display them in a big vase on my dining room table. The real thing that annoyed me was I had a Disney License Plate on the front of my car and someone stole that (with the pegs that held it in too). It amazes me people can do such things. Hope you are able to replace your magnet.
