Someone stole our AP magnet off our car :(

That was the one!!! Oh I love Halloween and so when I saw that one coming off Test Track a few years ago, I HAD to have it. And while it did get dirty, I miss it...

That sucks. Someone stole my earth mickey head antenna topper when I was at work. I coulda strangled someone it made me so mad (you DON'T mess with my mickey stuff!!!). Thankfully my "other car is a monorail" sticker is more permanent and current topper has lasted a couple years!

If you figure out how to get a "new one" please let me know. I've never gotten one and every time I ask no one even knows what it is. I showed one of the GRCM a picture and all they said was "Aw that is so cute!" Yeah, I know that is why I want one.

I've joked with hubby about snitching one off someone elses car.. but I never would.

Someone took the topper off our car in EPCOT about 2 weeks ago. The first thing I did was walk to the back of the car and the WDW AP was still there, itis now on the frig.

That's a bummer. I'm sorry. When we see a car parked that has the decals of the family with Mickey ears or some other Disney sticker and no antenna topper, we pull ours off and put it on their antenna. We always have extras at home or in the glove box.

I have to admit that our AP magnet has stayed on our fridge...

I still have my 1st mickey antenna topper I purchased in 2008. Maybe because I super glued it onto the antenna and I can't even get it off myself. I guess I could if I really forced it off and it may have an ear or 2 ripped off.
OP so sorry to hear about your AP magnet. I don't think it would be clever to super glue those onto your car though.

My dad came to the airport to pick me up from a trip to WDW, and when we got back to his car, his whole antenna (along with his mickey topper) was gone! I asked him when did that happen, and he said just now!

That just stinks. My daughter is the only one in my family to receive the magnet. She's 13 so no car to worry about!

And that's why I glue my antenna topper with super-glue, I had two stolen from my first visit, a mickey and a minnie, so now my Mickey Sparrow is glued securely to my antenna.

i loaned an antenna topper to my parents and it was stolen off their car. the crazy thing is that you have to have to climb up a bit to get to it. i just bought another (thank goodness they're pretty cheap). they bought a new one too and, so far, they still have it.

i have several and switch mine out. i drive an Equinox and you have to stand on the back bumper to get to the antenna. it makes it easy to find my car in a parking lot!

I've never been able to keep an antenna topper on my car. People in the parking lots here at home always stole them. I finally gave up a few years ago. I now have one hanging from the mirror. I just stuck a little screw with an open top into the top of the topper and then hung a 1/4" wide black satin ribbon through the screw's eye and tied it to my mirror. Before that I had to buy a couple every trip, but they never lasted more than a few weeks on my antenna before someone stole it.

As far as 'some people', what got me is last week (May 10th-20th) we were at WDW. May 14th we ate dinner at Be Our Guest. We had my elderly mom with us, who uses an ECV down there, but also carries her very nice cane in case her knees are giving her trouble. The night we ate at BoG she left the ECV right outside the doors where the CM told her to and decided she didn't need her cane, as she wanted to walk without it. When we came out, her cane was missing from where she hung it on the ECV. We asked the CM that stands there at the doors, but he said he didn't notice anyone around the ECVs and strollers that were sitting there. Even he was was surprised that someone would steal a cane off an ECV. Who the heck would steal an old woman's cane, even if it was a really nice one?
