My DH, 2 children and myself have a reservation for CRT. We are going for my daughters first birthday. My question is I am a picky eater and nothing on the menu looks good to me. Am I able to sit with them while they eat or will they still deduct 2 credits from out DDP just for me being there?

The Steak Salad was really good - if they had not put the blue cheese on there, would have been better, but oh well

Other than that, I don't know for 100%

So both of my children are under 2. So they will only take out the credits that my husband is using?
Both adults will be charged. Children under 3 will not.

You can't go to CRT and "not eat" and "not get charged." All persons over 3 present will be charged. So DH will be charged 2 credits. you will be charged 2 credits.

If there is nothing you want and the menu is unacceptable to you, I would recommend going to Akershus for princesses instead, although I would guess that menu might not suit either.

And you are in the same bucket just less credits, I think.

Thank you guys for all of the help. I know it will be a waste of my credits but do you think I will be allowed to order chicken nuggets off the kids meal and I will just let my little ones eat them.

The question is why would you want to??
Because that's where we wanted our daughter to have her 1st birthday dinner, and I don't want to wait outside when we are ordering her the princess cake and everything. So instead of them just taking my 2 credits and me paying out of pocket for my two little ones for kids dinners (since the one is a big eater), I might as well make use of the credits and buy them a meal.

I think it's a smart idea that you use your 2 TS entitlements to get a meal for your children, since you aren't planning on eating anything at all and your entitlements will be taken from you regardless. And who knows, maybe they'll give you one of their meals someday. {Sweet, sweet children!}

My point was why waste 2 credits for chicken nuggets. Couldn't you pay OOP for your meal and save the 2 credits for another dinner?

It's a fixed-price meal. You don't save anything by paying out of pocket, no matter what you order.

We took my great nephew on a trip a few years ago. He had just become a "Disney adult", but had a very small array of foods he liked and would eat. We would ask for adult sized portions of chicken nuggets with sides he would eat. One meal he wanted a burger, mashed potatoes and plain pasta. It was absolutely no problem. If there are sides you do like, I would do the same thing. At least that way you won't be too hungry!!!

Happy Birthday to your tiny princess!!

I would love to get the CRT experience for free. I'd bring in take out though if I didn't like the food there.

I know you did not ask, but given the fact you do not like the options, I would rethink Akershus. It is a castle. It is lovely. The food, especially breakfast, is delicious. The Princess interaction is awesome. You get the Prime TIme Princesses....Cindy, Snow, Aurora and Ariel. And it is 1 TS credit, and you will probably all be able to find someting to eat.

You probably got all the info you needed, and I know this won't be a popular comment, but here it goes.

Our family went to Akershus. The Princess parade and photo ops were fantastic! We got seated early and the service was great. However.....we didn't like most of the food. :( Out of our whole family, only 1 is a picky eater, but all of us found most of the buffet food to be quite different, and not in a good way. I am Norwegian and really looked forward to it and so thought I would love it.

I didn't want to say it "out loud" because it's such a popular place to see all the princesses. We had dinner. Maybe breakfast or lunch would be better. Out of all the places we have eaten at WDW, it is our least favorite (regarding food). So I really wouldn't recommend it for a picky eater. {head hanging low because just hate to say anything negative}
