Someone please help me!

We were at BWV about 2 weeks ago and I have alot of neck and back pain. We stayed in room 5069 and I barely had any pain, now that we are home I have alot again. Maybe it's our bed? I was wondering if anyone knows what type of beds they have? I would do anything to get rid of this pain! Thanks!

I'm not sure what kind of beds there are, but there are other possibilities. I also get a lot of neck and upper back pain that does a disappearing act at WDW. It's not the beds. My doc sent me in for a physical therapy eval and I learned a lot of things.:

• 
  - The ergonomics at my desk were lousy and I was seriously straining some areas in my neck sending pain throughout the neck, upper back and arms. at WDW I'm not sitting at my desk using a mouse and reaching for a keyboard 10 hours a day.
  - at WDW I'm not working, therefore less stressed and more relaxed. When I'm stressed, I unconsciously tighten up my neck and shoulders
  - I get involved at work and don't get up and loosen up muscles often enough. At WDW I'm walking around all day.

I'm not saying it's not the beds for you, but your lifestyle on vacation probably changes enough that other variables could come into play.

I think this is very interesting.
My situation wasn't neck and back pain, but sleeping through the night. At home, I can never sleep through the night without waking up at lesat once, usually more and have to make a trip to bathroom. Last Oct. I went for a long weekend at the BWV and all 3 nights I slept without waking/ getting up once.
I don't think its the bed because we have a temperapedic and sleep well on it. Maybe its just being away from all the daily stress that life brings?? I was just amazed though. Heading back in 3 weeks, hoping for some more nights sleeping soundly!!

I WANT this bed too, enough so that I copied the label. It's the same one as HH too. Sadly, it's a hotel bed and I haven't found a way to buy it. Sealy Posturpedic Ultra Plush 720. It makes my back feel good too! I also bought one of the pillows that's on the bed at BCV....."Beyond Down", available mail order at JC Penny's. I used to get neck headaches, but haven't had a single one since owning this pillow. HTH!

I found this on an online forum about mattresses -- honestly don't know if the information is still current:

Do you have a comparable mattress to the Hyatt Grand Hotel beds that are the Sealy Posturepedic 720 Series pillow top mattress and box spring?

Also, what would your recommendation be for one and two steps above the Hyatt's mattress level?

The Sealy Posturepedic 720 series pillowtop is comparable to our Sealy Posturepedic Baywater Plush Pillowtop. Our Sealy Posturepedic Whitbred Ultra Plush Pillowtop is one level above.

Frankly, I understand your linking the bed to your comfort. I have broken my back twice, and I know and understand the difference in bedding. A couple years ago VB replaced their king beds with Sealy Posturepedic matresses.... I have never slept so well.... I am sure bedding makes a diifference. I know that it is Sealy, because I lifted the mattress to see what was sooooo comfortable. Somebody did their homework on this one.

A-You'll find the closest, (spec wise), in a level 3 or 4 Posturepedic. There is a choice of comfort at each level.

Well we had a top of the line Sealy and after some medical problems I developed RLS and the sealy was wasn't cutting it for the problem.
My Doc recomended the sleepnumber bed and I have been in heaven every since. When I go away I start to get the RLS towards the end of the week but not as bad as it was.


So if you think that bed will help search it out . I put no price on a good nights sleep and refreshed body.

Well we did just go buy a sleep number bed. I figure we can return it if it doens' work out out. I am glad I read the last post, I feel better about buying it. I hope it is worth it!

It took us a while to find out our and they do change some times. Get close and then make small 5 or 10 adjustments until you get a good nights sleep.


We are at about 15 months into having ours.
