before I go crazy!

I've posted for help on this subject on Mac forums in the past, but I've never received a satisfactory response. It seems so simple to me, I'm sure there must be an answer. Here's my problem:

Within iPhoto, I have several named albums. For example "Orlando January 2006", "Orlando May 2005", etc. Not very imaginative, admittedly, but named nonetheless.

Now, say, I want to locate a photo to, for example, attach to an email. On my PC, it's easy - I just locate the folder named "Orlando January 2006" and look for the photo I want. On my Mac iBook, I don't seem to be able to do that. I can find a file called iPhoto, but then the photos are just in arbitrarily named files, such as 2004, 2005, 2006 and then 04, 05, 06, or roll 37, 38, 39, etc. It wouldn't be so bad if the dated ones actually related to the dates the photos were taken, but that's not always the case! So, it's just a case of trial and error until I find the photo I want.

Surely there must be a way to organise my files so that I can find them easily? I can't be the first person to be driven crazy by this.

Sorry Debbie - not a clue! I understand your frustration as it sounds like there must be a simple solution. What a 'mare having to search like that.

I hope one of our techie-types can assist
