Someone please give me hope!!!

I really am glad for those of you who are benefitting from the extension on the FTP through Nov. but it doesn't do anything for me. We have APs from our last trip and while I know it's not a guarantee, I was really hoping for some good AP rates during the slow time in Nov.

Someone please give me some hope that they will even have some room only discounts. We usually do not do two trips so close together but decided the APs would be a good way to do so before the kids got too old to pull out of school for a week. I know there was no way of knowing that Disney would pull this package out of the hat but why is it that I seem to always choose the "wrong line at the checkout"?!

Thanks for letting me whine a little (it rubs off from the kids).

From my past experiences they usually don't come out with "room only" discounts/codes until July for November, just make sure you check mousesavers.com daily (or suscribe if you don't already to receive updated emails from them).

When the codes do come out, which I'm sure they will just make sure to jump on them a.s.a.p. since rooms will probably be limited.

Once Disney notices the decline AP sales - (because people are waiting to see if there will be a fairy tale deal for their dates)

They will wise up and release some great rates to AP Holders.

We go to DW everyother Nov. , the week of Thanksgiving and have always gotten some kind of discount. Where it be codes, DC or AP.
We usually make a resv., pay the deposit and wait for the discounts to come available. When they do we just apply them.
Also frequently call CRO and ask.

As a previous poster just mentioned, mousesavers.com doesn't anounce the AP discount codes until a few months before you need to have your trip scheduled and they most likely will come out with a code. You can always book the ressie and add the code when it comes out as well. I agree with dizkidz2 also - keep calling CRO to see if they are offering any discounts - sometimes they do and they just don't make it as well known

I think you have every reason in the world to hope. We business still slower than usual Disney I believe is looking for just about anyway they can to get you down there and hotel discounts is they best way to do that. They know once you come you'll be spending money and they need to entice you to come. It is smart business to do so..

THere are AP rates for most of the summer until 8/23, so most likely they'll be discounts for November as well. Unforunately, the AP rates for the summer aren't as good as in the past, so it is possible that the trend will continue. They are giving approx 40% off the values and mods, but deluxes are only getting approx 25% off. If I was a betting woman, I'd bet on AP discounts for November, but I think they'll be in line what is offered for the summer and not much deeper for November.

Here is some hope: Disney DID release AP rates for summer, AFTER they had already announced FTP. So, because fall is traditionally much slower than summer they should also be realeasing AP rates for when you are going. They want to fill every possible room, right? Good luck!

I just booked FTP for November this morning. We are adding 4 days onto the end of the package so I asked the CM if they will do regular codes for this time period. She said "Yes, they will do codes, but they will not come out until the end of July." This was the same time they came out last year so I hopping she is right!
