Someone keyed my new car GRRRRR!!!!

That sucks! I'm so dreading the day I find a mark or scratch on my new car!! Sorry that they did it to you!!

Sorry about that.

Maybe for them it was fun to do it knowing that the owner would be real upset.

You didn't take that the primo parking space that they had been waiting for, did you?

Were you at Wal-Mart? I know several different people that have had that happen to their car in a Wal-Mart parking lot.

That is horrible. I have never understood how anyone could get any thrill out of destroying things.

Sorry that happened to you, some people are just idiots.

Grrrrrrrr - some people just have no respect for other peoples property. I would be seething !

I'm sorry that happened to you - some people are just complete jerks and there's no cure for it.

I knew a guy who, every time he got a new car, would come home from the dealership, take a small hammer, and put a dent in an inconspicuous place. Then he didn't worry about something happening to his new car anymore. I've never had a new car to try out the theory, but my boyfriend's new car was dented through his bad driving within a week of him owning it. Makes me worry a lot less when I drive it.

They do it because they are lowlifes that can not stand to see someone else have something better than them. Like I said, Lowlife scum.

In the mid 90's, I was the driver/PT for my grandfather.
The hospital where his true PT was was a small out of the way hospital, but a hospital non the less.

Were we had to park on the ENTIRE side of the hospital there was only one wheelchair ramp. And every day for 3 months that we went there, there was a brand new Chevy truck parked right in front of it.

My grandfather was a well muscled man at the time, and had had a stroke so we were working on re-learning motor skills so he wouldn't wither away and he was HEAVY trying to pull him up a curb to the side walk.

Well I finally saw WHO was parking there. A late 30's who shoulda known better Dr. well I tried to address my issues nicely and he flipped me off and drove off.

Well the next week I gouged out the pin-stripes on his tail gate down to the metal.

I never saw the truck parked there again, it was always about 30 feet away in the Dr. parking from then on.

Busta the Lowlife =D

Are you sure it was keyed. My nephews bikes (the ones right after training wheels) was short and they tried to ride inbetween my car and my moms. It left a line down my moms car. Luckily they still had rubber stops on them and it rubbed off but a few months later when the rubber was worn off and the metal showed through they bumped a car in the drive again and it looked just like the car had been keyed. If you were in the street you might have been the victem of a bike and run.

You didn't have any bumper stickers on there that may have showed your opinion, did you? I won't put anything on my truck that does that ... people are just too crazy over that and if they disagree with you, I wouldn't put it pass them to key your car.

Wow, you're a REAL class act........:thumbsup2

Destroying someone else's property is despicable and illegal, but to come on here and gleefully admit it, is just horrible.

Oh I know your pain! When I got my very first new car in 2001, it was keyed all the way down the driver's side within 6 months. Luckily, my truck was spared when I had it. However, someone has keyed the door on my Focus. It stands out like a sore thumb too.....sonic blue with a white streak.....it makes me so  every time I see it. Gonna need a paint job someday. Maggie

It happened later in the evening--2 lines right across the car--down to the metal--insurance will cover--just a real pain--police said it has been happening in that neighborhood--won't park on the street there anymore.

It wasn't one of my better moments, and probably the worst thing I did as a teenager.

But I do understand your sarcasm.

But the guy deserved it.

Would you rather me had his car towed?

3 times a week for 3 months?

If the guy was parked illegally, then yes, having the car towed is the expected response.

Two wrongs don't make a right.

Somebody keyed my new Honda station wagon shortly after moving here. I figured that since we live in Indiana, some low life, Hoosier scum took exception to the Ohio State University license plate holder we had on the car. I would expect that from Michigan folk, but IU or Purdue? Since then, I absolutely refuse to put any decal/bumper sticker/other identitying material on any of my cars. Too bad some people have such problems with such insignificant issues as the university that another stranger has attended.
