I rented a movie for the kids to watch and totally forgot about The Apprentice. Can anyone tell me, in a nutshell, what's up?

Thanks!
Lori P. :)

The first half showed the four of them interviewing with various Trump executives. As a result, Amy and Nick were fired :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc

2nd half (still going on) is Bill and Kwame divided some of the previous players...Omorosa included :( ...for the last challenge. I know Kwame's team is working on a Jessica Simpson concert...not sure about Bill's team...

Nick and Amy are out

Omarosa's about to screw up Kwame's chances of winning

Thanks guys! You're the greatest (although I was pulling for Nick to win :) ) I think I'm pulling for Kwame now, but I think Bill would be a good choice too.

Lori P. :)

I was rooting for Amy but would not mind either of these two winning. I'd prefer Bill just because I haven't seen much from Kwame.

I just noticed that both of these guys are really goooood-looking. ::yes::

Okay, what is the incentive for the ones who have been fired to "do their best"? I missed the first part so I didn't see how the teams were formed, and I was just wondering why these people who don't have a shot at winning would give it their all?

Bills task is to manage a golf tournament.

I think they had the last 6 "losers" come up again. The last previous ones that were fired woudl have been Kristi and Jessie.

It was Omorosa, Heidi, Amy, Nick, Troy and Amy.

Omorosa dropped the ball during the first phone call.

Bill seemed to take an exectutive decision regarding the accessories for the golf tournament. .. the garage was not the best place to store it.

::yes:: Except I think Kwame has the edge in this category because his body is much better. Where is that drooling smilie when I need it??? :p

Kwami and Bill were definitely the best choices over Amy and Nick.

I think Omorosa's job is to cause problems to test Kwame. Same thing with the golf gift stuff, to test Bill. I think they are all there to throw curve balls.

I was going to post the same thing. I just think Omarosa is doing an incredible job messing up and don't think that Bill is being messed up quite equally.

I agree I definitely think that The guys are being messed with, it's the ulimate test.

I was so happy Amy was fired! I was so sick of her I'm so wonderful attitude and lol when Trumps executives said they didn't like her. lol

I like both Kwame and Bill so I'm happy with either winning, although I think Bill will take it.

Loved that the execs saw through Amy, and Nick is a good salesman, but they knew he wouldn't cut it as an exec there. I turned it off right after the Omarosa thing. I don't know if it was a set up or not, but she handled it the same way she handled a lot of things before she got fired - "well, I told so and so to take care of it, I was busy at a meeting". I think Kwame should have called her on it, because if it was "Nothing Important" as she said, then why did the call have to be made to her at dibber? And the GM of the place told them that he defined a successful event as one that was perfect for the entertainer from the minute they landed to the minute they took off. She blew it. I would love to see Kwame win, because to me he has the book smarts and the perserverance to become a Trump employee, I think Bill may not want to conform to someone elses corporate expectations.

I agree w/the others about the sabatoge possibility...Trump's narration leading into the task was about loyalty and if you've been let down or basically sk***ed by a co-worker/team member in the past, they will do it to you again, yet the teams are made up of members who have been disloyal. I got a giggle out of Jessica Simpson saying "she was SO CONFUSED" in the previews...when isn't she acting confused? I also thought having Heidi and Omorosa/Kwame/Troy was interesting as that is the group that was together when Heidi and Omorosa went at each other. The fact that Omorosa blatantly lied about the phone call at dinner was a huge flag that they are there to create stress to see how Bill and Kwame handle it.

I'm so naive. :o I never considered sabotage until I read it here but, it makes sense. And, who better to sabotage than Omorosa?!?!

What I still don't understand is why Kwame couldn't/didn't fire Omorosa right then and there???? I know I would've! Instead, he calls Diane back and APOLOGIZES.......for what??? For Omorosa messing up obviously. But, he's the BOSS now.....he should've made HER apologize, then fired her.

I like both Kwame and Bill and, the Trumpster has made some comments about both of them throughout so..............I think he's gonna pick Bill...........but, then again, he might pick Kwame.

I just posted my sabotage possibility on a differnt thread , was wondering.....if this is true who do you think will sabotage bill?

I loved this episode because it was very much like true business life. I was very happy that the execs saw through those two.

I totally thought sabotage last night and was very dismayed at how Kwame handled it - he should have had some further words with her - but he was right ot go back to Jessica's father and that could not be delegated to a lower employee. It had to be the exec doing it.

I think we have yet to see much of Bill's task - most will be shown next week. He has to deal with his celebrity - the Don - and we have not seen how this will be handled. It may actually be Donald who tries to throw a Monkey wrench at Bill as I also think he is the number one pick right now.

LOVED the fact that Trump's execs saw through AMY!!! Loved that Trump told Amy that there wasn't any substance behind her words! Hooray!

Also loved when Trump said that he was sure that everyone assumed he would choose a beautiful lady like Amy as the winner of the competition. Good that he can laugh at his image.

Definitely believe that Bill and Kwame deserve to be there (although I've been a Troy fan all along too).

I believe that Bill and Kwame are being "tested" to see how they deal with adversity. Kwame's is obviously Omarosa and I think he didn't do a very good job with her. In the real world, an executive would have removed her from that responsibility and given it to someone else, even if it meant doubling up. He shouldn't have to do the work himself, but I think maybe he should have done that anyway.

While I do not like Omarosa, she is not a dummy. She wouldn't blatantly lie about something when she knew the camera had been filming her. That proved to me that she was a "plant" for this task.

I think Bill's test began with the dumping of the supplies in his office because they had stored them in the wrong place. It's not clear whose mistake that was, but I'll be it gets clearer next week.

They keep saying the final episode is live. I wonder if it's just the "hiring vs. firing" part, since they obviously have to cover what happens at the concert and the golf tournament too.

::yes:: I think this is what they will do. Because if you think about the weather while they have been filming this in NY, it was definately last fall and not current. So these poor saps have not only had to go through 13 weeks of an interview process but the final one chosen also has to sit for who knows how long since filming - not getting another job - waiting to hear from Donald. Holy drawn out process to get a job. Unless he fires the final person while tey filmed last fall and its just one of them who has to wait and during that time he can actually begin getting used to the company - oh, this is taking too much brain power for this little blond on a Friday morning .

I totally agree--there is no way Omorosa is really that bad (although she is FUN to dislike). I think Trump planted them to really test the leadership, and how well they handle problems.

I did notice that Nick and Amy seem a little pouty since they JUST got fired--it may not have been wise for Bill to have picked both of them.

Oh, that's right - I forgot about the YAWN from Nick - they were stupid picks, but somebody had to get stuck with them. But I think they are definately not working their tails off for Bill.
