Return of the castaway club blue sling backpack?

Oooh, I hope this means we get fun inaugural stuff on Destiny and Adventure this winter. We were on Wish month 1, but it was our first sailing so we didn’t get any of the cool special items.

Still can’t quite convince myself to sail the treasure for a whole week.
You should definitely get some fun inaugural stuff for the Destiny! I would guess the Adventure as well, but since it's a whole new 'thing' for DCL who knows what they'll do.

I loved the Treasure for a 7-night. Even though it's the exact same 'layout' as the Wish (I'm 'meh' on the Wish, don't love it and don't hate it). I don't know if it was the theming on the Treasure, or because it was a longer sailing so we had more time to explore, or something else, but I really enjoyed it.

We’ve done 10 cruises, only 2 of which were more than 5 days. I loved the 7 day on Fantasy, because it was more relaxing and you had time to do everything. We also did a longer Dream cruise in Europe and it was just too much trying to squeeze in Disney and ports (and jet lag) almost every day.

As for the Treasure, I’m not sold on the Coco restaurant and not sure any of the restaurants (other than Enchante) are ones I’d want to do twice…I would like to see the other 2nd show in the Marvel dining room, but we’ve sailed wish twice and I don’t need to see that one again. Have they announced a Marvel dining show for Destiny?

We will turn Gold on a B2B cruise (2nd half) will it know that we are gold since we booked both as silver? This is our first time sailing less than 7 day straight cruise- not sure how that works if you promote between cruises.

We did the same. Siver first cruise. Gold the second. We received silver gifts for both. A trip to guest services fixed things.

This will be us next year on the Wonder, the first part of our B2B will be our 5th cruise, so the 2nd part we should be gold. I've been told by some CM"s that I've spoken to on the phone, that the system should know that the 2nd cruise we will be shown as gold, but to not be surprised if doesn't. It just matters on how quickly the system updates and sometimes it happens once you disembark and other times it can take a few days to update. As DCL58 posted, if it doesn't and you receive the silver gifts, just make a trip to guest services and they will fix everything.

In general, it seems to take about 48 hours for the website to recognize I’ve completed the prior cruise… so it makes sense that it’s not ready before they determine which gifts to leave in your stateroom.

I haven’t done a B2B, but my elevation to platinum happened a day before the Adventure bookings went on sale for platinum tier and I wasn’t able to do it online, but managed to book via phone.

Even with the CM's telling me that it should update after we disembark from the ship on the first leg, I've resigned myself that I more than likely will have to go to guest services to make sure that we get the correct gifts. I'm just looking forward to spending 11 days on the ship next year :) So a trip to guest services and a hopefully short wait will be worth it.

Bringing this thread back up to see if anyone has sailed in the last couple of weeks and can share their castaway gifts. Hoping the blue sling bag is no more!

I did see in a FB group that the Treasure was giving out the white beach bag instead of the inaugural Treasure backpack/cooler bag. Guess they already ran out - hope they get more!

That is pretty unlikely. The inaugural gifts were likely a set quantity, and once they're out, they're out (that's how it was on the Wish).
Supposedly, they were given all the other inaugural platinum treasure castaway gifts. Just not the backpack/bag. Can’t see DCL offering such piece meal inaugural treasure gifts this early and not fixing it.

They've been offering piecemeal gifts on the other ships as well. That is a bit different than an inaugural, yes, but there's also some speculation that tariffs might be holding things up.

The silver Castaway Club gift is going to be given out the most, since it's given out for all CC levels. So it stands to reason they might run out of that sooner.

So who knows. But when they ran out on the Wish, they didn't restock.

Just off the Wish as Platinum. Got the sling backpack and Mickey shaped towel. Found a first time cruiser to re-gift them.

On the Fantasy this week. We got the platinum towel, gold wet dry bag, and the sling bag. We did get the Mickey lanyards in ‘blue’ but I’ve seen a bunch of silvers with old style ones, so I think they may have given out both?
