Hello Everyone,

We - Myself, husband, and 4 kids (9,9,7,4) are leaving for Disney this Saturday! We'll be staying from 10/2-10/9 and have the dining plan.

Here it goes:
Saturday, 10/2 - Arrive late around 7pm. Check in, counterservice dinner at Pop and pool time if anything...

Sunday, 10/3 - Rope drop at DHS. Dinner at Prime Time 50's at 4:10pm (The ONLY reservation that we could get...) Fantasmic at 8pm. We may leave and go back for dinner, Fantasmic, and extra evening magic hours.

Monday, 10/4 - Rope drop at MK. Dinner at Ohana's at 8:10pm. We will be taking a mid day break after the 3pm parade..go straight to dinner (early) and hope to be seated right away.. Catch Wishes at 10pm.

Tuesday, 10/5 - AK all day -- Dinner at 1900 at 6pm.

Wednesday, 10/6 - Boma reservation at 8am for Breakfast. Epcot during the day. Dinner at Garden Grill at 7:45pm. I'm most concerned about this day.

Thursday, 10/7 -- Our 2nd DHS day. We will be also doing Raglan Road for dinner in Downtown Disney at 4:30pm. My husband and kids also want to catch Fantasmic AGAIN on this day...

Friday, 10/8 - MK 2nd day. Crystal Palace dinner at 5:00pm. Back to the resort to pack up and leave early next morning... :sad1:

Feel free to critique. Any and all suggestions are welcomed. This was somewhat of a thrown together last minute trip, so you can tell our ADR's are not exactly at great times... I'm afraid of a traveling to reservation nightmare.

I'm also trying to figure out where to squeeze in EARL of Sandwich. :) We have never done Earl of Sandwich for lunch and it's a must do on my list. Along with a Main St Bakery ice cream sandwich.

Thanks Again!

You have some great reservations!
Since your Garden Grill ADR is so late. I would think about taking a mid day break. For the youngest ones sake.

And this is JUST my opinion. I hate Crystal Palace at lunch and dinner. The breakfast is good but the food at lunch and dinner was very unappealing. However, if it is the only time you can get into Crystal Palace I would go for the experience.

Have a wonderful time!!

Will your 4 year old be able to make it to rope drop every morning? That would be my only concern. My DD7 had trouble making it to any park before 9:30am during our trip in May. Now, I no longer schedule anything before 9am. It was just too hard fighting with her to get up "early". Do you have a rental car? There are no resort to resort transportation options. You would either have to take a cab to a resort or take the bus to a park then to the other resort. I am speaking of the 8am Boma ressie. You may have to leave around 6:30 - 7:00 to ensure you get there ahead of time and I am not sure the Disney Transportation will be running that early. Dinner at Ohana' and Wishes might be a close one too. I know you can watch the fireworks from the beach though so you should be okay if that is what you wanted to do.

I just found the morning plans did not suit my family well. Now we do late breakfasts and early dinners. Every family is different though. Good luck and have fun!

Funny...I LOVE Crystal Palace for dinner. We do it every time. Just goes to show you how different people's opinions can be.

Sounds great to me. We are dong Fantasmic on Sunday too! Did you get the Fantasmic package? We got Hollywood and Vine at 3:35 and Fantasmic at 8pm.

Melanie - I tried for so long to get the Dinner package with no luck. I wish we could have... See you there! ;)

Ccgirl/Got Muchness -We are definitely rope drop/mid day break type of people. My plan isn't set in stone. We will cutback or switch things up as needed. Our family consists of all early birds. We are generally up by 6am - 7 days a week...We are planning to get there for Rope drop as often as possible since we like taking a break...As far as CP, it is always so interesting to see how opinions vary. We LOVE CP for dinner. It's actually one of our "must do" meals.

My main concern is the Boma reservation and the transportation. I'm worried on this one. I thought of trying to move the reservation to 8am on AK day since it's so close to AK..

I think your plans sound great! In fact, your plans for 10/4 and 10/5 are EXACTLY my plans for 11/23 and 11/24, down to the ADR times!

We enjoyed Crystal Palace for dinner on our last visit but are doing a late breakfast there this time.

I agree with Got Muchness about taking an afternoon break on your Epcot day. Your little one will probably need a nap, and your other kids could probably use a swim break to break up the all day park touring. Then you could go back to the park for your Garden Grill reservation with your family freshly rested. :)

I agree with moving the Boma breakfast to the AK day. You could even hit AK at opening do a few things and then head to Boma for a late breakfast, more of a brunch, and then head back to the park? Just a thought. That way your Epcot day won't be as frazzled. Have fun!!!

I think it looks great. If some of the meal times end up being to late, there will be other things available there earlier. In the end, we always wind up making some changes depending on how we are feeling that day and it always works out just fine.

If the Boma adr doesn't work out you could always do something like Biergarten for an early lunch. It's so nice inside and the band is super fun! It's one of my favorite memories from when I was a child. :)

Just had another idea, is Cape May available for breakfast that morning? You can walk from there to Epcot, that may be easier than going to Boma.

Thanks Everyone!

I'm going to give Disney a call tonight. I'm going to see if we can switch Boma to the AK day. We really want to try Boma! Hopefully, we can switch our days.

If not, I just may try Cape May. That was a great suggestion!
