mailed the check for my bracelets. Tell Brenda if she gets Tinkerbell charms I will want one of those too.
Thanks! I just PMed you asking for your address. I'll be sure to let you know if she gets Tink charms. I am surprised she doesn't have any already!
He really is my child!!!
Although, He really wanted to take in his Pal Mickey that he got this summer from our dear friends Tracy and Bill. I had to talk him out of that, but Brenda loaned him a Mickey Mouse bracelet charm and a Minnie Mouse charm. He came up with lots of other M items, including Mini-wheats to share for a snack. He is one smart cookie!!!
I am so not a fan of the cold. But on the other hand I don't like the super hot either. I need a constant 70 degrees to make me a happy lady. Although, I do think snow is ok on Christmas day... and ONLY Christmas day. A nice soft fluffy snow that only lands on the grass so that the roads are safe... Ok, now I am living in Fantasyland!!
We only needed to buy the kid's tickets. We were in awww of someone being that kind to us. I spent several days simply tearing up that these kind "strangers" (at the time) would do something so magical and amazing for us. Everytime either Jon or I would think of it and say something I would start to cry. They were being nicer than my own dad had been. So that is how we got to the last MVMCP!
They have a dinner BOG reservation to go to shortly after they get to the park. But I know we are meeting up!!!

Finally he said he would just call me when he was back in town this afternoon. So, I went on with my freezing cold day. This afternoon the phone rang and it was a number I did not recognize. So when I picked it up, it was the "Pizza Man"... His real name is Johny. So Johny asks if I am ok to talk about Gavin's issues. At this point, I have the whole thing down and could explain it in my sleep. Everyone asks, and I don't hold anything back. I figure, I have nothing to hide and the more people know about Hirschsprung's Disease the more likely that someday there may be a cure, or at least testing so that parents are more prepared... In any case, I go into Gavin's story and I can tell Johny is paying close attention to every word. He asks questions here and there and in the end he sounds a little choked up when he says "The little boy has been through so much and I have no idea how as a parent you and your husband have survived." He is a prat of 2 small girls and one of them had her tonsils out and he just wanted t cry for her... he couldn't imagine the pain we have watched Gavin endure... and the pain in our hearts for him as we watch each new surgery, test and procedure. He goes on to say that he has heard the story before at his church and that over summer Gavin was on their Church's prayers list for a long time. He had never put two and two together. We get on the subject of how Gavin LOVES Pizza! He would eat it everyday if I would let him, but all that cheese everyday is not good for him. At the end of the conversation, he tells me that I should pick up the pizza on Sunday at 5:30 as I had planned. They went through 3 Mock up pizza yesterday to make sure they get it cooked right and it was perfect! He then tells me that everything is on him... from the Pizza, to the dessert and he is including 2 silly pizza hats for the kids. I was so teary at this point. It was so sweet... and to make 3 Mickey heads yesterday just to get it right... that shows how seriously he is taking things. He was overwhelmed that we had wanted him to be part of the reveal.

I deal with some pretty crappy people at work, and it's good to know not everyone sucks lol!
