Someday: the Sequel! A Dec 2013 PTR

I like this update...because it's two days closer to when I arrive. :lmao::lmao::lmao:

Crystal Palace. :cloud9: I love that place and especially before the park opens. Puffed French toast, potato casserole, Puffed French toast, Mickey waffles, Puffed French toast.

Seriously, the plans sound absolutely wonderful (although what is your third FP for? if I read it right, Buzz and the Tomorrowland raceway were the first two?).

I'm not a fan of Chef Mickey's at all (I'd do breakfast if I did anything there), but I can certainly understand why this is going to be a very specil meal for all of you. I'm so glad you are getting to see Bill and Tracy again.

After you arrive, can we just stop time for all eterniry?? That would leave us forever in Disney World!!! :rotfl:

We really liked Crystal Palace the last trip... Even though we had such bad timing on my planning part. The food was very good... makes my mouth water just thinking about it.

The third fast pass is for the Mad Tea Party. I know this ride makes some people sick from all the spinning but the last trip Jon and I just sat and listened to the kids giggle. I have to be honest, there are a lot of days lately that we don't hear much of a giggle from them.. that is the thing I look forward too the most... THE GIGGLES!

Yeah, I have to agree Chef Mickey's is not high on my list of favorites last trip but I knew the kids loved the characters last time. It's amazing what we will go through for our kids! :rotfl:

We are so looking forward to seeing Bill and Tracy! It's been in the planning for a long time now... Now, to get a meet up with you and Mark on the books and we will be set!!

Hello!! I am so happy you got everything squared away and got that park day added. I knew it would happen :goodvibes.

You are about as crazy as we are trying to stuff everything we can into our trips :rotfl:. I can't wait to see the pictures from MK that day, they will be wonderful.

I am with Kat, not a fan of Chef Mickey's but I totally get why it's great for you guys.

I am working on getting a different reservation so we can get to Pop earlier.

I CAN NOT WAIT to see you and your family again!! I hope we eat CARROT CAKE with Gavin :lmao:.

Jon is a good guy and saw things my way. I did discover today where all the mix up came in... I was thinking we were in Disney for 8 nights and 9 days... when I looked, we are there 9 night and 10 days. Opps! That would be the problem! If there is such a thing! :rotfl:

It does make me a little sad to know that this will most likely be our last trip to Chef Mickey's... Not because of the food, but because the kids will be MUCH older when the time comes to return. Wow! Time goes so fast. :sad1:

No problem on the reservation. Worst case scenario we take the kids back to the room, do Gavin's flush and get them in PJs then meet you at century hall. The kids would be in PJs to meet up but I don't think that is an issue... I already told Jon we had to get them cute Disney PJs for the trip so when we meet up with you and Bill after we are done in the park EACH DAY! LOL

Sounds like a great day to me!

Nini
Thanks, I think so too... but is there such a thing as a bad day in Disney? I think you would almost have to TRY to have a bad day! :woohoo:

I have yet to get an early ADR to get to the park early. Claire will not wake up. I hope someday she grows out of that phase.

The kids are pretty good about getting up...in fact, many mornings (even after late nights) I wish they would sleep longer.

I love the before park opening ADR's but the last time we tried that for Crystal Palace, they switched the park opening back an hour so it's wasn't before opening at all. I believe we ended up canceling and going on with our day. I'm tempted to book it again on our next trip but it would be after a late Epcot night involving margaritas and we are trying to save $$ so I doubt we will book it... But maybe... Lol

Great Day 2 plans. We will also be in MK that day. So jealous of your CP ressie. We are eating at the Grand Flo Cafe. Very exciting to be meeting up with DIS friends.

Ummmm...sitting here waiting for that story you were going to tell us about that you mentioned on FB about almost blowing it. popcorn::popcorn::popcorn::

We love Crystal Palace. Jon is big on the food. The kids LOVE the characters and I love being able to get unobstructed Castle pictures. It's a win, win...win for us! :rotfl:

Hopefully we will pump into you at the MK! I'll be the one that will most likely still be teary eyed. I am a HUGE sap! :rotfl: Especially if it is something as great as Disney World.

I am ack from vacation and have to catch up today.
Welcome. Sit back, relax and enjoy all the excitement from while you were away... although, I think it is us that should be enjoying the excitement of your vacation!

Sorry! I meant to get to it but today was picture day for the kids so it was a busy morning and then I started reading a PTR again. I was also working on a special part of Sunday's reveal. I am going to type things up and post in just a second so stay tuned... and keep munching the popcorn!

Oh my! Did I ever almost blow it last night. A little back story first...

If you recall Gavin's birthday was last month. He turned a whopping 6 years old! Well, the one thing he wanted for his birthday was so motorized LEGOS. So his pappy, my dad, who think all Disney trips are overpriced and STUPID  , promised to get him some of these motorized LEGO. Gavin had used them at the LEGO camp that he was blessed to go to this past summer. So Gavin was super excited. Dad promised that he would get these motors and battery packs. Well, Dad didn't know what to get...and waited till the last minute to send us a check to get things... which meant the check never got here until earlier this month. So Jon ordered the things he needed and they were shipped to us.

Yesterday, the package from LEGO arrived. We had ordered a few extra things to put up for Christmas to expand his motorized stuff. (I know, great terminology! :lmao: ) We seperated it and when Gavin got home from school we gave him birthday gift from pappy. The LEGO company also sent along a minifigure LEGO store figure. It has AWESOME hair... and Gavin loved it. Gavin said it was the coolest hair he had ever seen! :rotfl2: So, without thinking about things I say "When we go to Disney, you'll have to look at the build a minifigure and see if they have that hair." :scared1:  :scared1: Jon's mouth dropped... just like this :scared1: I had to think quickly so I added "If you aren't too old for LEGO when we get to go again." So I think I did a great job of covering it up, but I think I need to stay away from the kids till Sunday! :rotfl2: It was out of my mouth before I could even think about it. I will be so glad when I don't have to watch every word I say.

Speaking of the reveal on Sunday...
I had a VERY hard time sleeping last night. I do often suffer from insomnia. I had it when I was pregnant with Gavin and I was told that once I delivered it would go away... Yep, still waiting! :rotfl: I do refuse to go on meds because of Gavin needing me in the night. In any case, last night I finally fell asleep around 12:30 and I was wide awake at 2:00. :sad2: So while I was laying there trying to go back to sleep an idea popped into my mind... MICKEY SHAPED PIZZA! I know I have mentioned a million times that the reveal is Sunday! :yay: :yay: Well, I got in my mind that I would need someone who would be willing to make a Micky head shaped Pizza for us for dinner. We will be out most of the day with church and then Trick or Treating at the ball field for our local farm team. Then we are home to reveal! So, we have a local Pizza place (called Pizza Mia for those on FB) that has done some special things for my Girl Scout troop over the last 2 years. He is the guy that dresses up as Santa to deliver pizza to the girls each Christmas. So I e-mailed him this morning. I asked if he would be willing to make me a Mickey head pizza that we could pick up Sunday night for dinner. He got back to me shortly after with a SUPER price and he is as excited to be a part of our reveal as I am!! He is throwing in a free cookie tray or Cinnnastix... our choice! So, we will be having Mickey head pizza for dinner on reveal night... Does it get any better than that??? :dance3:

WOW! Great recovery there, my friend. That was a close one. I will pray that this week goes superfast so that you won't have to watch what you say anymore.

And I love the idea of the Mickey head pizza. That is just awesome, and what a great pizza guy. :thumbsup2

Seriously cool about the pizza....

And I have to say I am really excited for the reveal (and not because it is my birthday...just because it is so cool to think about keeping it from the kids!)

I will be thinking of you and wishing you a happy birthday as I am spilling the beans on Sunday! It makes it a day we all are looking forward too.

I am super excited about the pizza! :woohoo:

Please do pray this is a fast week. I keep saying just 5 more days and the secret can come out. This has been the longest I have ever been able to keep a secret from the kids. I think if we had paid off the trip early it would have been even harder.

I can't wait to see the pizza on Sunday. I just want to get done with the minor league baseball Trick or Treating so we can get on with the reveal! Jon and I are wondering... which kid will be to excited to sleep the night we tell them... and which one will get in trouble for talking about it all day at school??? :rotfl2:

Yay! I found you! I'm so excited for your trip Tammy! Now I'm going to go back and read your PTR!

Lenora :)

I'm all caught up....I LOVED  the story about Gavin's surgeon making Mickey ears and dancing around. TOO cute!

You have the sweetest kids. And the sweetest husband. And they have the sweetest mom. So happy for you all!

Love the Mickey pizza revel idea... Disney should do a commercial of that one! We will be in the Magic Kingdom Dec. 1st too...maybe we can meet up for a minute

A funny story to share with you all tonight..

Tonight was the Halloween party for my Girl Scout troop. We do a dress up party each year and the girls have a great time. Well, I ordered a costume for Brenda from Zulily 3 1/2 weeks ago :headache: BIGGEST MISTAKE EVER. We have already been to the trick or treat train and now her Girl Scout party with no costume from Zulily. I had to pull out the Snow White dress from our last trip to WDW. If you recall she was 4 then... well that little skinny daughter of mine still fits the dresses... the are just shorted now. They were almost floor length before. So the girls were all saying about how pretty she looked and how she looked just like a princess. Brenda speaks up and tells the girls that the only place she really is a princess is Disney World.. and mom says we don't have the money for there for a LONG time...because we don't use Credit Cards! Some of the moms busted out. She goes on to tell the girls that maybe if we sell a lot of cookies in the winter we could go to Disney on our BIG TRIP. I had to tell them that I don't think we could ever sell enough cookies for that. Brenda told them to all go home and get the biggest jug they can find to start saving pennies... my little travel agent!

Most of the moms know we are going and when because I had to cancel a December meeting. A few of the moms asked me when we were telling the kids and I told them Sunday. I am so excited for Sunday now.

I love that she feels like a princess in Disney. It melts my heart. I so can't wait to spill the mickey shaped beans on Sunday!!!!
