Some VWL & BCV Points Avail/Change in Waitlist to buy

I just spoke with my guide and they have points still avail at these resorts (at least for Feb UY) for contracts that did not go through.

Also, she noted a new procedure for waitlisting to buy points. They are taking a credit card number and once the points are avail (either by incomplete contract or ROFR) they will put a deposit on your CC bfore calling you. Obviously, you can still change yor mind and get a "refund" but they are trying to have "more serious" buyers on the list

Did your guide say what the points were selling for on BCV? Are they the same as SSR? Just curious.
Next, a much repeated question but here goes: If use year is Feb. starting 2004 does that mean you could make ressie for Jan. 2005 or Sept. 04 at another resort?

If you bought now, you could get Feb 03 points and sell them back for MB. You would than be able to start making ressie using your '04 so depending on banking/borrowing the ressies could be Feb 03-Jan 06


I didn't get into price, I think they are all the same

I am not really sure how this works since the points are available now (on things that never closed) is it waitlist or new points?

You make a good point though as that is a big difference.

They had BCV points when we were there on 10/11. Price was $84 pp. I don't believe there was any MB program available for them. If there was, they certainly weren't advertising it.

they wouldn't possibly keep them $84/pt forever, would they?

I can't imagiene them going any higher with the older DVc resorts now that SSr is available with the longer contract date.
